I'm a young, childless, married lady who intends to remain childless and married. People invariably end up blocked from any and all contact with me in their attempt to convert me to the church of parenthood, so please do not even feign asking "why not" out of interest if your goal is to convince me I should have kids. Yes, people have actually tried to convince me to have kids- sometimes having only known me for a few minutes- so I do not feel I am being heavy-handed in clarifying that I will not discuss the matter in my public profile. My husband is a US Calvary Scout, which means that he drives light armored weapons and has the authority to call an air strike; people actually ask whether the US army still uses horses, so I like to get the "No" out there right off.
