You-niverse!

The possibilities are limitless...

Once upon a time, a gateway to other realities was accidentally opened by a space faring race. They used it to travel to other worlds, and get resources, money, do whatever they wanted and commit any kind of crimes, then pop back into their reality where nothing had happened. One day, they found a universe that was not ready yet. Nothing was there. The big bang had not yet occurred. They found lots of worlds like this. Then when they would come back, it would be filled with stars and planets and life. What happened in that time? It had only been one or two days! How were universes created?

The answer to that, my fellow sporesons, is you! There are a few minor rules, but mostly, it's whatever you want! Create your own Universe! Tell about it's planets, it's life, it's history! Grow up species, then grow up a new one when you get bored with the old. What's at the center of your galaxy? What's the shape of your galaxy? Now, before we get to creating, here are some...

Rules

1. Godding is under no circumstances forbidden. However, put some time and thought into this. Three posts doesn't get you a space faring empire, guys.

2. no sexual references or swearing.

3. You never RP as a specific person. You just tell the story of what you want your universe/galaxy to have in it. Sort of, documentary style. tell about it.

4. Details! Details! This is, again, like a nature documentary of sorts. Explain the aspects of ecosystems or histories of races. Don't just have them do random stuff.

5. This is sort of like what's said above. Ic posts should be about a pararaph or more. You're welcome to post as much as you like. If no one else will, I'll probably read it.

6. Pictures are welcomed, but not required. I myself do not have the ability to put in pictures due to the quality of my internet.

7. for purposes of this RP, Sapience is partially or fully developed emotions, Sentience is awareness of themselves and thier surroundings. Nearly all creatures that are multicellular should be sentient, but it is up to you whether sapience (emotions) are present.

Registration
Joining is a bit complicated. Just read through this and you'll understand what to do...

To join, there are no character sheets. Just say (I've read the OP and I'd like to join, then post a descriptive paragraph or two at least, of the big bang and first billion years of everything falling into place. Do not continue posting until a Mod gives you permission. Right now, I am the only mod. If you miss the Mod's post accepting you, check the OP. When you can see your name on the members list, you have been accepted and may start posting to your heart's content.

Sheets
Eventually you will gt to having a space faring empire.
Re:You-niverse- whatever you like, however you want!

Ooc; a couple more things, the beginning of your universe can be nothing like mine, and the beginning of life can be nothing like mine. This is supposed to be about what you want. So if you do want something similar or the same, go ahead, it's just not required.

silence, and a never ending emptiness, so empty it didn't even have a color. Then BOOM! The universe was born. It expanded at an incredible rate! every hundred or so earth years it had expanded many miles. It was almost 30,000 miles long before even a million years had passed! It kept expanding and expanding, until it was about half the size of the earth's universe. Then it slowed down, to about a foot every few million years. It was still quite fast, but not as fast as before. Then the dust clouds came. From whatever caused the life giving explosion came a tiny cloud of dust, which expanded as the universe did to make thousands of enormous dust clouds. They began to form into a sort of odd shape. At this point, space was freezing, with not even a single star to warm up anything. They froze and hardened. Now, the first star formed from the size and pressure of one huge dust ball creating a new kind of... anything! As of then, there was nothing but dust! It was gas. Hot burning gas. The star began to expand with heat, and soon there was a relatively tiny star. Smaller then most in other galaxies, but what it did was incredible! Dust clouds came near it, and caught fire and turned into gas itself. Stars were forming in a small area. They were quite close to each other. Planets formed in a very similar manner. A ball of frozen dust was warmed up by one of the stars, forming into rocks and minerals. It orbited around the star and gained molten core. Other planets followed. New gases were created, and formed atmospheres round the planets, which led to water, and then, life followed. A comet had passed by an extremely hot and radio active star. An odd mineral, known as Renn, developed into a tiny life form. This was a moon sized comet, so it managed to take with it a thin breathable atmosphere. The tiny creature became an ant sized creature, with no legs or arms. It just slunk long on its bell eating ice and other Renn based life forms, of the same species of course. Then the comet collided with a planet, and life thrived there on that cold planet. Other planets developed life in different ways, but it was mostly comets and meteors bringing tiny animals to a new world. The galaxy was a collection of close knit stars in a small circle, with occasional stars hovering in the blackness a moderate distance away. This universe was born!

OOC: Sounds like an interesting and fun idea.
IC: In the beginning of this universe, there was nothing except an particle unique to here to be known in the future of this place as Zazaza-Matter. To most species though beyond this universe, it was called just the Big Bang Beginning. Boom it went, and over the years, the first matter appeared, then the first stars, but unlike most universes, the matter to appear was not as stable. Before many atoms could form, this defect caused only the most stable matter to remain. Most of the universe became empty, unusually empty though, even for an universe. Despite this, as I said before the first stars began to form, but no galaxies yet. The hydrogen combined, but there wasn't a lot, so few stars anywhere formed. No planets yet, as stars were not yet common enough to supernova to create materials necessary for planets. It was an unusually dark beginning...

OOC: Hey 98wizard523 (or do you prefer a shorter name?), thanks. I'll see what I can do. Also, calling me Gamer is fine.
IC: Because only the most stable hydrogen formed, the stars were more stable as well, but they'd still have a limited lifespan, about the equivalent of a few billion years for what a normal star would survive for around 1/3 that. As more stars formed, but not many remember, the metaphorical competition for the remaining got... worse. Wait, what?

Remember because stars were rare, instead of being around 5 light years away on average, they were almost a thousand light-years away on average EACH! Pretty rare indeed. But when they formed, they often formed small to medium-size stars, as the more common universes did near the middle of the life, rather than the beginning. So far though, not a single planet had formed.

As the first few billions of years passed, more stars formed, and less hydrogen was readily available. After about the equivalent of 4.7 billion earth years, bang went the first supernova, and with it, more heavy materials? Indeed, in fact, much more than the normal star would produce. The heat of such a concentrated fire fused almost 95% of the material into things heavier than helium. The other five percent remained hydrogen or helium. The most common material of the new fusion was also not light materials like carbon or oxygen, but in fact... iron.

Desperation can force a man to do that which his ancestors shunned, to deny everything he once was and any morals he once held, and work solely for his own survival.

Every living thing in the universe was rapidly approaching an inevitable destruction. They all sat and watched as atoms decayed and the energy from long dead stars floated off into the empty blackness. The few survivors (the races who had been significantly advanced and with the proper hindsight) had built massive installations in days long past, built of the most stable of materials and hiding inside the energy of hundreds of harvested stars. They'd outlived the universe, left floating amiss in the final bubble of existence, surrounded by true nothingness, true chaos. Those who looked outside lost their minds in those terrible empty places in the sky. One of these beings had an especially firm resolve, or at least a peculiar kind of madness, that drove him to new lengths. His race was dead, be it in a few years or a few seconds. But they didn't have to be gone forever, they would not have to be forgotten.

The Grey Goo scenario was intricately familiar to our new hero, Duan Zhin. His species had worked long and hard to eliminate the results of hundreds of worlds ended by their own scientific ambitions, devoured by a mass of unthinking, unfeeling automatons. They stored each and everyone of these abominations in the Database. They were too large, too complex to survive their Ragnarok, but he could create something better. It was smaller then an atom, and would be capable of working with any sort of energy or matter to create more of itself. It would multiply and slowly branch out, repair itself as it could. It wouldn't last forever, but it could outlast them. It could even hold the records of their race, their history, their technology, their genetics, their minds....It could make them anew if it could last....last till something, last till anything. No one even felt it happen, Duan inhaled, and then was nothing but a collection of heartless machines carrying out their new programming.

Survive, multiply.

(This universe is going to effectively end and then have a second Big Bang.)

Ooc; Leestriter, Great first post! Just make sure that the second big bang happens quickly. Not so quickly that you can't get a bit of story in, but quickly enough so that you aren't already talking about space faring empires too much. Gamer, you can call me Wiz or Wizard.

Ic; A second galaxy had formed, but far different from the first. All the stars burned relatively cold, and produced a green glow that came from a particularly strange form of cosmic ray. A small meteor, carrying more of the ant sized Renn based Life forms flew into this small galaxy of green radiation. They hit a planet orbiting third from a large green star. The radiation warped and twisted their appearance, thier chemical construction, and in a matter of days a new species was born. At the same time as life was evolving in the Green Galaxy, the Orb Galaxy (name of galaxy spoken of in first post) gained plants. It happened in much the same way as Renn had become a creature. a bit of unpure Renn was radiated with the same intensity as the others had been, but the other minerals mixed with the Renn changed the outcome. tiny moss like plants, smaller then a pencil tip came to be. They ended up on a planet with the Renn based life forms, or Slinks, as they will now be known. Some of the Slinks began to eat the plants, and slowly evolved into Pinks. A smaller, plant eating creature. Now there was a food chain on this particular planet. Moss eats sunlight, Pinks eat Moss, Slinks eat Pinks!

EDIT; Alright, I would like this to be a rather fast moving Roleplay, so if you do not have time I understand but please expect at least one response a day and try to post each day if you do have time.

Re:You-niverse- whatever you like, however you want!

OOC to Wizard: I'll try to post at least 6 times a week, since that's how often I'm usually on the Sporum right now.
IC: Excluding hydrogen and helium, iron was now the most abundant form of atomic matter that existed. Atomic that is. Because of the defect in the past, energy that couldn't form matter normally was much more common. This created an interesting effect on how the physics worked between stars. From the extra energy, space was slightly denser where there was just space. This made it harder to move through, and with the distances vast, this would slow down travel significantly including for particles. However, if a spacefaring race ever harvested this energy, they could travel closer to the speed of light easier than most universes.

But that's in the future, not now, as planet formation has not yet occurred. As slowly more stars formed and died, over time, the weak gravity gradually pulled things together. It wouldn't be for trillions of Earth years they would meet up though, but at the rate of things, maybe then would life as we know it events occur.

As the energy between stars could not clump into matter though, inevitably something else began to form. It couldn't stabilize enough for matter, but it began taking another form. It still could be called matter, but it wasn't using the conventional structure. For instance, if matter was energy + energy + energy, then this was the squared version of energy - energy. It was significantly different. Rather than stabilizing into matter, it was more about the different ways it could push and pull each other. This remember is on a greatly small level. Billions of years passed. Stars got slightly closer, some died, some became, but on the energy level, one combination of actions began a form of cycle that would cause it to propel itself when it encountered a specific type of energy push, and it would push towards such energy. A form of life had begun!

Re:You-niverse- whatever you like, however you want!

Orb Galaxy

As Slinks and Dry moss became more common on dryer planets, and Pinks and wet moss became more common on watery planets, life began to evolve in different ways. The slinks of one hot dry world developed a thick exoskeleton to protect themselves from... well... each other! Most Slinks ate other Slinks, and the few that began to eat Moss slowly turned into Pinks, as their digestive system had to change to handle plant life. Pinks, who became the primary hunting target for Slinks that did not wish to be cannibals, began to get very fast to escape the cumbersome slow slinks. They developed little stubs to hop along with, rather then slowly sliding along on their bellies. On watery planets, it was another story. Slinks and Pinks were both very fast, as they could easily swim and maneuver through the water. Moss found ways to easily flourish and evolve. Now there was algae, moss, and even an early form of lily pad, which bobbed just beneath the surface of the water.

Green Galaxy

Another creature entirely had evolved here. The star's cosmic radiation turned the slinks that landed on a planet near them into a beast of sorts. It was the size of a garden snake, and it could stand up on two "stilts" made from it's double stemming spine. It hunted tiny sparrow-like birds, which had mysteriously appeared after a meteor crash. It would later be realized that those tiny birds evolved from a meteor carrying Pinks. The birds only source of food was an even tinier creature. An insect already lived on this planet when they got there. A little brown beetle that swam under water and laid thier eggs on the bottom of the lake. The larve and eggs of these tiny beetles were the main food source, but both Standers and Divebirds tried thier best to make a snack out of the beetle while it was swimming. Standers (the snake-likes) lived solitary lived, but Divebirds lived in large family groups by the shore of a lake, and swam under water (Hence thier name) both for fun and to catch beetles.

Re:You-niverse- whatever you like, however you want!

Stars had their own history, but most of it was the same through and through. Grow larger, flare here and there, repeat. The small forms of energy though were more interesting. As time passed, the forms got slightly more complex. Some forms went after the energy of other energy forms, a primitive form of carnivores, but they didn't usually last that long from going after the same thing that gave them structure, and the fact many of these forms were far apart from each other.

So far, replication had not yet happened, all these forms were just the result of the energy shifts, but that would soon change. One form, which will be called Form A in the future, began to do a very unusual combination of shifts. It would lead to it pushing other energy around into the structure it had itself where-ever there wasn't its form. This wasn't enough to get life going elsewhere though, since it was just the structure. All it would take though is the right combination of that and another energy shift to give it a direction and what to go after. This might sound somewhat simple, but it was much less likely and much more complex than it sounded.

As the next few million years passed, eventually arose one form, to be called Form B, that pushed together energy to make another Form B whenever the energy in the area was just right, and that condition was very rare.

Over the next billion years, many slight variations emerged, not from evolution, but just how inevitability pushed them together. Only around 1000 Form Bs were ever created by another Form B, and remember a billion years had passed. Form C began to form at around this time. What made this different was that it used more than one form of energy to determine where to move, otherwise it was Form B. The life was advancing slowly, very slowly in fact, but there was more than enough time. Right?...

OOC: Great idea! But in this RP, shouldn't OOC be OOU?

IC/IU: A great mighty universe, filled with beings of power and intelligence, twinkled as it slowly deflated... like a balloon... Many of the beings started to realize the sudden shift of power as the universe started to shrink. At an extreme rate, to. Many civilizations and beings were wiped out in milliseconds. Soon, the center of the universe was the size of a house. Then a ball. Then this period. And then... Nothing. Nothing now. Nothing seemed to exist.

Eons later, a tiny swirl of empathic matter, matter created by empathy, emotion, or action, formed a small ball of energy. This energy soon realized it's huge potential, then released it in a huge explosion of light and empathy. Atoms formed, and got slowly more complex, until the first galaxies were born. In these galaxies, stars started to twinkle for the first time, and leftovers from the stars forming created planets. And on one of these planets, some extra oxygen got into the atmosphere, raining down on the planet in huge torrents, creating oceans. Then, molecules came together, and a miracle happened...

OOC/U to Wizard: It's hard to have people post often.
OOC/U to Wizard: Is this post okay?
OOC/U to Alpha887: Hey, good point. I suppose it could be said that since we're presenting it as a documentary, the character is the narrator, but maybe I'm looking too much into it.
IC/U:

Time. That is a strange thing, but I'll talk about that in the future. Matter, that doesn't matter as much you'd think. Over the next many million, maybe billion Earth years, the energy forms got more complex, eventually forming the to be called Form K. What made this signifigant enough to stop the fast-forward was this form had a form of memory. It was powerful enough to remember what form it went after last, and it used this to go after it again if it was present.

It had been so long however, that the stars had finally produced something worth noting, the first planet! It was a small rocky world, about the size of Earth, but almost entirely made of iron. This might not seem like much, but this solar system was now the heaviest and densest in the entire universe. Slowly other stars began heading here, including the energy forms. But they would reach here long after the star the planet orbited would die out.

Over that time, nothing worth noting happened that wasn't already said. Now this was so much later, the end of the universe was almost here. WHAT?! How could this be? Well, trillions of years passed by now. Not sure what you were expecting. The final remaining pieces of matter were gone, except for the iron planet which was dense and stable enough to not be ripped apart by the long ago bang pull of space.

The energy forms near, to be called Form Z had reached the most advanced they would in this universe. Enough to move by the direction of four senses, other forms, raw energy, matter, and the form of memory. These energy forms pulled by their sense of matter, and gravity, went into the iron planet, sinking to the center and the densest point. As the last energy that could reach here did so, all remainders of Form Z, and some more primitive types, the planet, and one other particle remained. The universe was at it's end. Wait, what was that one particle? It was Zazaza-Matter.

OOC to Alph; Thanks for showing up! You might be moving a bit too fast. We're all at the begining don't worry about catching up. Sorry to spam but check out Alpha's RP a galaxy of life.
OOC to Gamer; For just a second there I thought you were quitting the RP! Anyway, yes, the post is fine. Remember, godding doesn't exist on here in the way most Sporumers think of it.
OOC to everybody; I'm kind of loose bout OOC and IC on here so if you want OOU that's fine but 'm just going to stick to OOC, though it would be cool if this RP had it's own way of saying that.
OOC; to everybody;Should someone PM Lee?

IC; Life had been moving slowly for a few million years. In the green galaxy a few new forms of beetles and insects formed, but all were just small winged creatures. The ORB galaxy was growing. It was about three times the size of the green galaxy and a near perfect circle. The only thing changing here was that on wet planets Pinks were developing tails and Slinks were developing both Fins and Tails. Here is a quick sort of description of each kind of environment known.

Watery Planets

There are many different kinds of moss and algae, and even one species of rooting plant. The Slinks and Pinks have not yet developed gills so they stay near the shallows. Slinks use their long fins to occasionally slide along the land like mud-skippers. Pinks live their entire lives in the water. Some forms of tiny planton soze life does swim around in the water that Slinks and Pinks feed on, but these only exist on planets where the conditions are right.

Desert or Dry Planets

Slinks are heavily armored with exoskeletons. They live solitary lives and when they see each other they will either mate and then leave or one kills and eats the other. Pinks have developed almost legs! they use them to skitter along and get away from Slinks on some dry planets. Again, this is a factor that depends on the planet. Some dry planets, the Pinks do not have these stubby feet.

Green Galaxy Planets

Standers, a snake like predator, now hunted in small groups of two or three. Dive birds feed on many different kinds of insects that flourish here. The beetles lay thier eggs in the warm shallow water, which the birds dive for. There are only two planets with life and they are almost exactly the same. Any plants that end up on these planets turn into tiny algae or die off entirely.

Edit; should I request lock on this? I mean, I've tried to make some Roleplays before and they both ended with me annoying people and I don't remember but I think I was banned from the sporum for a few hours. Sorry I'm talking too mcuh, but my point is, should I request a lock and forget about this?

OOC; Eh, sorry. Kinda' went Bang-happy there... Anyway! Yeah, I'll move slower now. I really like this idea! I think it's great!

IC: After the first lifeforms, simple oxygen-emitting cells, evolution seemed to slow to a halt. For a billion years, nothing happened...

Green Cluster Galaxy

On this one planet where life started, things weren't any new for a few hundred million years. And then, a meteor smashed into the planet, effectively evaporating half of the ocean. Yet, life moved on. It was slowed, but it moved. Now, we must leave this planet, and follow a shard of meteor that zoomed to a distant arm...

Planet KL3G-2

This planet, a warm planet with tiny, lifeless lakes of water, sat tranquil, unchanged for millions of years. And then, a meteor shard started a course straight for this very planet...

OOC; I'm not sure if that was slow enough. Was it?

OOC/U: About PMing Lee, I don't see why not.
OOC/U to Wizard: No, I'm not leaving. Even if that was the final end of the universe story I had, I probably would start another.
OOC/U: About locking, I see no good reason why to. If you get annoying, maybe, but that hasn't happened here, at least in my opinion.
IC/U:

Boom. Wait, that's it? What about the Big Bang from the Zazaza-Matter? Oh, that boom was just the particle colliding with some of the energy forms. BANG! There it goes. The planet ripped apart, but not the atomic structure, just the density. The iron was stable and powerful enough to just fly on the edge. The energy forms that clinged to the Zazaza-Matter, sort of speak, flew in all directions. From the movement abilities, each released at different times inside the newly exploding universe.

This universe was different though than last time. This time, the "defect" didn't happen! Matter formed normally, energy merged conventionally, but the energy forms and life in a sense from last time remained. The first stars grew quick, the first stars died quick, the speed was the same, but the pace was much faster. Boom boom boom, already three supernovas of humongous stars nearly the size of the Milky Way's galactic core had happened. This universe was quick, and much more dangerous. But on the smallest of scales, the energy forms felt it as fluctuations they knew before. Separate from each other, but in a whole new environment, but with their previous skills. They would continue to evolve.

OOU: Six flags? Nice! Also, I will categorize my... stories in this order: Galaxy, then planet.

Green Cluster Galaxy

Oceanic Planet (original)

The sun of this world started to heat up, resulting in higher radiation levels, mutating the Airmitters (oxygen-emitting cells) into a whole variety of organisms. Soon, there were Methamitters (methane), Hydromitters (hydrogen), Carbomitters (carbon dioxide), etc. The atmosphere became filled with a wide variety of gases.

Lake Planet
The meteor shard we touched on earlier hit a rather large lake on this world, scattering it's precious cargo throughout the water. What is this cargo, you may ask? It was a couple billion frozen Airmitters! The impact defrosted them and brought back their life. They spread across the planet like wildfire, and the lakes soon became pools of life.

OOC/U to Wizard: I can understand that. With that being why, all the more understandable. Looking through some of your post history, I can see why they think that, but that doesn't mean I agree with them. I'm guessing the Sporum is one of your first forums, if not the first? Whatever the answer, have fun at Six Flags (or whereever you go if not there  ).
IC/U: Life had formed long ago, a universe ago to be specific, but that is energy beings, not even capable of sight. Are they important? Not really, or at least yet, because they are still evolving. On one particular Sun-sized planet, a form K and Z happen to be near enough to each other to interact. But before they could, something destroyed the planet. What was it? Something that never formed in the previous universe. A blackhole. The energy pulled in, and popped back out of a white hole somewhere else, unharmed. That was one benefit of this life, very little could destroy it.

Where was the life as most knew it, though? The carbon-based life? Well, the universe was still fairly young, quasars were fairly common and any planet that happened to be in the right place at the right time for life could be destroyed quite quickly. Despite this, the energy forms continued on, uneffected. The K and Z when they met up, combined with the imperfect radiation of the new universe, fused the two into the first multi-energy form being, to be called Form KZ. It had the abilities of both, the intelligence of both, the movement of both, and the destruction of neither. The energy could not die it seemed, but would it ever make any difference?...

We went to six flags magic mountain and me and my sister screamed our heads off all the way through the goliath!

Green Galaxy

The insects had developed into two classes. The beetles and the flies. The flies were just simple gnat like insects that lived for about a day. They bit a creature, mated, then the female would lay her eggs and die, while the male lived and protected the eggs until they hatched and then he died after they flew off. The beetles had split into 5 different species and all lived for almost twelve years. Most beetles actually cared for their young very well. The years on this planet were about a 1 and 1/4 earth years so each year was about fifteen months. The Divebirds and Standers were mostly unchanged.

Orb Galaxy

There were two dry planets. One was a true desert, the other was just dry, but not as hot. On the desert planet, some serious evolution had been taking place. This planet would later have a name...

Kunjabu (the desert)

Pinks finally developed feet. They were now Skipalongs. They were extremely fast and had great stamina. Slinks were still Slinks, but they had a small sail that they could put in the wind to cool themselves down. Skipalongs began to make nests by any water holes they could find where they would sleep and feed thier young. Slinks often snuck up on them in the night and managed to kill one without the others noticing. Moss was evolving as well. now it retained water inside of a small water sack that grew out of the top. Slinks and Skipalongs would eat these for water, which killed the plant from dehydration.

OOC/U to All: Sorry for missing here yesterday.
OOC/U to Wizard: Glad you had fun at Six Flags!
IC/U: Of course it would make a difference, it has already, but considering the life's size, would that difference ever be as big as carbon-based life? The answer to this day is debatable, but in the future, the answer will be clear.

The energy life had no amazing changes from last time, except Form KZ, which had created weaker forms of itself here and there, which over about a million years, would then reach Form KZ's level. Why so slow? The reproduction was never perfected.

But the energy life is not our focus right now, but instead a noteworthy planet. It had about the mass as Jupiter, and orbited a blue supergiant star. What made it special was one of its moons. That particular moon had about the mass and size of Earth, within a few kilograms and meters wide. It was also a rocky planet, and had been hit by an abnormally high number of comets, which has created a primitive ocean of water. Would life live here? YES! But not for awhile. Sure there was all the conditions, but there was no carbon molecules to push together to form even the most basic cells. What type of energy could do that anyway, in any universe? I don't know, but this universe was probably different than the answer.

In one asteroid nearing said moon, one of the Form Z life had been moving around in a strange formation, due to the high concentration of carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen. As the asteroid neared, the particles heated, and began to get closer. The Form, too small to register an atom, being not as effected, moved farther away. Then the asteroid hit, the particles combined, but would not stick very long. The energy however was pushed into the particles' separation. Because of this slight variance, the particles would stick around slightly longer, and that was enough for some of an amino acid to form. It was far from life, but it was the most advanced molecule yet!

The moss's water sac had developed thicker walls so that it couldn't be penetrated as easily, and now some of the moss was even releasing tiny seeds; something that moss just didn't do. Skipalongs ate the seeds when they fell from the top of the water sac. The mosses were now Seeders. The Slinks were changing as well. They were bigger, with more developed bony rmour, and though their mouth was still just a small opening, they could flex their muscles and to sharp edges on the bony armour would come together and slice and whatever was approaching their mouth, which was extremely helpful when the slinks tried to break into the water sac of a seeder. So far, so good! Thier evolution was progressing rapidly! Too rapidly...

As for school, I actually already started.
OOC/U to Wizard: About Cyborg War, looks interesting, but I prefer sandbox open-ended RPs like this one.
IC/U: Yes, an amino acid indeed did form, but this was far from life. How far? Like comparing the sizes of the energy forms to the atom, or a planet to a galaxy. Well, maybe the energy forms were smaller. But the point stands, that life was still a long time from now. I said life would live here though, and it will, but it'll be awhile. BOOM. There goes the star of the system, exploding into a supernova pushing outwards enough to propel the gas giant and it's oceanic moon out of the system. With the heat of the star gone, the moon now remained too cold to support liquid water, and it became ice with the amino acid's reactions slowed, it would last longer.

But besides this moon, no place was close to supporting carbon-based life. The rest of the universe had four major obstacles which were giant stars nearing death, blackholes, great amounts of radiation, and the void. The void being the lack of things in space. Over the next few billion years, this wouldn't change. But during, a couple more Form KZs formed, some from the original, some from new ones altogether. Carbon-based life though was almost a universe away, or in time, billions of years. The universe wasn't going to be very hospitable to it.

OOU to Gamer; Cyborg War is more of a sandbox then it seems. You just explore the galaxy and you can collaborate with other rebels to build stuff. I like sandboxes better as well.

OOU to Gamer; What grade are you going into? I'm going into seventh. yeah, I know, alot younger then most. But hey, I once met somebody on the sporum who was going into third grade.

OOU to Anybody/Everybody; I'm adding an important objects section that lists... well... important things. What's some stuff you want me to put in there?

Edit; is this appearing on the first page for you guys too? and I do not have it set to what I last clicked appears on the first page.

Anyway, I forgot to IU! LOL! I was on the forum index thinking I just know I forgot something. Now, this may or may not make sense, but I'll try to make it a little clearer. I just quit Life After The Grox. Don't get me started because I can't shut up about anything. I actually really loved my creatures, so, I want to move them here.

IU; A dimensional rift opened up. A spaceship flew through and began to explore the empty space. It passed over the green galaxy and flew away as fast as it could because of the massive radiation. It flew down towards a star out by itself. It was neither part of the Orb galaxy nor the Green galaxy. There was a lava planet witha few small islands, similar to the dying planet that the spaceship found it's cargo on. Then, it did something unexpected. To preserve the species as long as possible, it put some sort of strange feild around the planet and star, slowing down thier aging and everything on them. In a few million years, what would seem like a few seconds would have passed and then they would be reanimated. The spaceship opened another dimensional rift and left. however, the other rift closed when the ship came through. This one remained open...

Meanwhile, something was going wrong with all the Renn based life-forms in every galaxy. They were progressing and evolving at an incredible rate! These life forms should have been completely different, as they came from a mineral that was radiated, but instead, they were like any other life form. It became clear to whoever it became clear to that something was different about them...

(See? I have a plan!)

The machines made short work of most of the outpost, before the central energy storage overloaded due to the extensive damage. The trillions upon trillions of ravenous specks were suddenly thrown across the remnants of the universe. Some sat endlessly in the void, some fell apart with time or destroyed themselves attempting upgrade, some even found some of the other outpost and multiplied in mass. Most importantly, however, they separated. They separated, and they began to adapt. Small modifications to the base files, to traditional performance. Some devoured their fellows, or entered some form of stasis. A small group clumped together and shared any bit of energy collectively, to survive better as a whole then separate. Soon, however, even they were almost extinct. Few of the originals were remaining, simply a rotting remnant of purposeless mutations. But then, there it was.

From the primal chaos of true nothingness, something....something incomprehensible, unexplainable, illogical and in some way, inexplicably beautiful happened. Suddenly, a universe was contained in a speck, and in another, it began expanding at unimaginable speed, bathing space in fiery destruction. More machines were lost, but some remained as little specks of matter began to form, as the first atoms prepared to form, to make stars and form everything anew.

But a few survived. They encountered the primitive hydrogen and began work anew to make more of themselves. They couldn't move themselves, but they were pulled in suddenly as stars attempted to form. A few stars were converted into balls of twitching and jittering machinery. A few stars in a universe would go unnoticed....and for now they would just wait. Wait and adapt.

OOC/U: About the important objects section, I can't think of anything for there right now. I do see the list on the first page, though.
OOC/U to Wizard: About Cyborg War, I see, I'll give it a full read.
OOC/U to Wizard: About school, wow, that's the youngest I've ever heard on the Sporum, and I think any forum I've been apart of. My grade though? Actually, I'm in college.
OOC/U to Wizard: About Life After the Grox, that's fine with me. Can I involve something from Life After the Grox, too? It won't be for awhile, if so.
OOC/U to leestriter: Hey, welcome back.
IC/U: Indeed this universe was not going to be very hospitable, but was the main universe as we knew it really any different? Sure, Earth is, but compare the sizes. Ah, now you should see why this universe will support life, but not much. As millions of years pass, stars slowly get smaller, planets slowly get smaller, carbon-based life doesn't start, and energy forms change. After the first 4 billion years have passed in this universe, the first planet that will not only support life but start carbon-based life has begun to form in a small galaxy less than half the size of the Milky Way.

Unlike that one moon mentioned earlier though, this planet was about the size of Mars, and had twice the density of Saturn. It was far different than the Earth, but it would still hold carbon-based life... in the future. After another billion years of similar events to the last, the planet is no longer a barren rock, but a radioactive heavy atmosphere with storms planet. The lightning is so often, that the heat of it, combined with the organic material formed in it by previous lightning storms has begun to connect into a form of self-reproducing carbon molecule. Is it a cell, not even close. A virus is more sophisticated, but it's a start. One thing unusual about this life though is that it's central replication process needs a specific push of energy to start it. The very same that Form KZ produces...

OOU to Gamer; No prob. Go ahead and evolve something. I'm trying to start something though, so if it's okay with you then have a spaceship fly through that rift in the universe talked about earlier. (Ooh! Ploners?)
OOU to Leestriter; Nice to see you again! So I'm guessing you're going to post once every week or so?
OOU to Gamer; They don't have grades in college? Not even freshmans, juniors etc.?

IU;

KABOOM! So far, the dust and Renn had been forming so many new stars, planets and of course life. All of the stars and planets had an incredible lifespan. The oldest star was in fact one of the first few stars to form. This supernova in the green galaxy sent deadly radiation shooting in all directions. This was not a problem in the green galaxy. If anything it warmed up some cold planets in other orbits. However, in the Orb Galaxy, the huge wave of radiation did more damage then thinkable. Remember that the green galaxy has radiation far above the gamma level, which is why the stars are green. How this makes them green, I dunno :P but the point is that when the radiation wave reached the orb galaxy, planets melted, stars exploded, and any life, no matter how microscopic, was gone. It put only a small dent in the orb galaxy, but still, the fact that the radiation was able to put ANY kind of dent in the galaxy was remarkable. However, some kind of balance had shifted in the universe, and stars lived shorter, and had smaller less powerful supernovas.

Edit; Alpha and I seem to be leaning more towards spore science, and gamer and lee seem to be leaning real life science.

OOC/U: About LATG, okay. It will involve Ploners, but not right away, but you did give me an idea on how to add them in later. There is a clue about what in this post, but it's very subtle.
OOC/U: About college, usually they do from what I've seen, but not the one I'm at. It's more about what classes you have done than how long you've been there. When how long comes up, it's more about how much do you know of the place. It's a good system, in my opinion.
OOC/U: About science types, good point. Interesting how that is. I know I do it though because I'm going for realistic but different kind of story.
IC/U: You heard what I said, or read what I wrote. The carbon-based life would be aided by these 'basic' energy forms. However, the energy forms were rare, very rare, so only a few would have them. Those that did though would be at a great advantage, and not just in reproduction. How? Over the next billion or so years, the skills of the Forms intervened on what the carbon-based life would do ever so slightly enough that eventually it would gain it. This allowed more advanced life sooner. But because the Forms were rare, only about two, yes two, of the carbon-based life would ever reach multi-cellular life early. Though it had the advantages, because of the lack of threats which usually were around at the time, the life forms more advanced in specific reactions. Rather than having a generic solution like fight-or-flight, it was more of a what this, what now.

The energy forms and carbon-based life held a form of symbiotic bond despite never really knowing of each other. Knowledge, the ability to think of ideas, that was not there. Awareness wasn't there either, it was just planned reactions. However, with the complexity of the carbon-based life, the two multi-cellular life forms guided created more powerful reactions than the Forms had ever known. While this was good to the forms, it was not to last. Carbon-based life may have been able to do more, but it was much more fragile. So fragile, that something like the temperature change caused by an asteroid on the other side of the planet was enough to end this exploration. The energy forms survived and contacted in their small level. They formed a more advanced form, but nowhere the complexity of carbon-based life. It would be like a KZKZA. Wait, what was that A? It was now advanced enough to have more specialized actions. Soon, this would spread, but the smaller carbon-based life cells were far from gone...

OOU; Yay! But I wasn't begging for them though, just askin'. The Ploners were one of the best in the LATG "golden age". I read more of the old posts then the current posts. They've sorta jumped the shark now.
OOU; That does sound like a good system. And BTW, this should be in the last OOU but I couldn't see the hint.
OOU; Yeah, I figured. Whether it's obvious or not I'm actually planning far ahed and trying to head towards a certain kind of story as well, but I chose spore science because it gives me a better excuse for crappy stuff then My just not knowing anything xD!
OOU; I'm going to name planets/creatures only when I'm fairly certain that they will stick around for a while.

IU; Most of the other planets where any moss of Slinks ended up have now gone through immense environmental changes or the slinks couldn't adapt well. Now all that is left in the Orb Galaxy are Splont (the water Planet), Kunjabu, and a few other planets not yet evolved enough for the narrator to decide if they need names.

Splont

Plants have begun to evolve basic root systems. Mostly it has stayed as mosses and algae but a lily-pad wanna be exists, with one leaf bobbing close to the surface. Slinks and Pinks have made some significant evolution. Slinks tiny hole of a mouth have a few sharp cartilage bits jutting inwards like teeth. The slinks were decently fast swimmers before, but now, thier bodies are thinner and more flexible, they can glide and twist through the water with ease, and more importantly speed. Pinks were thinner to begin with so they were able to swim quickly, now, camouflage is what's important with the slinks being so fast. they stay in groups like schools of fish, and have slowly evolved to become spotted like sand on top and blue on the the bottom, like the water and the surface. Pinks are very social, blowing bubbles at each other and teasing each other in whatever mischievous way they can think of. And that's the important thing... the thinking. Slinks were relying on instinct and hunger for thier hunting and any other activity, of which there were very few. The Pinks were intelligent, even problem solving intelligence. They were testing the fences for weaknesses systematically... wait... sorry that's jurrassic park. But anyway, the Pinks had some logic already, and some sapience (see first page for a new detail). They could feel dulled forms of happiness, anger, sorrow, love and fear. That was all the emotions there were to them. Still, they had more then the Slinks had... wait, there was one other emotion they could feel, if it counted as emotion... disgust. Disgust at the aggressive and cannibalistic slinks. These Pinks were now CuddleFish. The Slinks, Speedfish.

Wizard
OOC/U: About LATG, thanks. Yeah, I think in the past some things were better, I had it more thought out back then, but I still have many ideas. Also, the Ploners were part of what was going to happen anyway, but you gave me an idea on how to actually make them fit. There will be more hints over time, but if you want to get a hint on the hint, say so.
OOC/U: About science types, whatever works. And as you put it, whatever you like, however you want.
OOC/U: About names, I am naming the things as they will be named once sentient, sapient, and intelligent life forms reach a certain level.

IC/U: The carbon-based life cells continued slowly, in time though, they would become multi-cellular, but by then they would also be predators and prey.

But were these forms, energy and not, sentient or sapient? Well, they were aware of themselves one would think, but that was actually not true. They didn't know of it, they just reacted, they were far from the idea of knowledge even. Their primitive memory held enough to know one thing, and that was not they existed. This would change over time though, but the energy forms were the farthest from this. They were far from it, for even though they were around long, they didn't change that often. Just like the environment they were from.

As the Form KZKZA left the planet and later galaxy, over billions of years, the carbon-based advanced. The common things evolved for it, photosynthesis, movement, sight, atmospheric fueling. Wait, what was that last one? Oh, breathing. The energy forms had spread little in this time, but the carbon-based life had done more but in a smaller place. Their planet, not the galaxy, but much more rapidly in proportion. Carnivores, feet, lungs, the brain, basic emotions. The most advanced form on the planet could comprehend and deal with the most basic form of happiness, sadness, and anger. There was also the understanding of the self in space, but not much more. The energy forms who had been around much longer, still didn't know they existed, their minds were not nearly that competent yet... and they might never be.

Are they getting closer? Oh geez, yes! They are going to crash! They hit each other in a loud SPLAT! Doing so opened a little hole in each, spewing out planets, stars, and entire galaxies like candy in a pinata. As time went on, the universe started coming together, to form a map-able web. As we take a look, we notice that life is already forming in the most unlikely of places.

Radium- Uranium desert

Radium, is a small planet. It has been hit with constant radiation. This makes a planet-wide desert of radioactive sand on the surface. In between the grains, we find small organisms who have grown to adapt to the radiation, and use it to their advantage. Since radiation fuels evolution, these beings can evolve faster than any other life on the universal web. It wasn't until the eighth generation of yearlings began poking out to the surface. They have scaly skin, two legs, fat little bodies, about 20 lb. and 30 inches tall. These guys will be known as the Gorgets. They are carnivorous, and feed off of another surface species. Known to be called Ventalites, they are herbivores and feed off of deep-rooted plamts, that barely pop out of the sand, like a shrub on Earth.

To be continued...

OOU to Caleb; Is calling you just Caleb fine? Good first post, but you are moving a bit fast. Don't go crazy slow just keep it at an even pace. Usually there is one or more new posts every day so check back in, and your Out Of Context (OOC) are sometimes called OOU on here, but you can call them OOC if you want.
OOU to Gamer; things that are sentient can also be sapient. Might have misunderstood but it just looks like you're picking one or the other.
OOU to all; This next post is really cheap, but I couldn't think of any other at least sort of sensible way for new plant species to appear, since all I gave myself to work with was moss, and I don't wanna overdo it with the Renn.

IU; The rift in the universe was ripped open wider, as a small fleet of spaceships came through. They began to fly around, searching for a place to make a colony. They avoided the green galaxy and it's massive radiation, but as they flew around it they jettisoned some strange cargo, which flew towards the planet with life quickly. They went down towards the orb galaxy, and hovered over a temperate planet, with a breathable atmosphere, but nothing aside from slinks and moss lived there. They beamed down some grasses, trees, seeds, all kinds of things. They scanned a slink, and came up with minor traces of the mineral Renn. Wait, what? Minor traces? The slinks were literally Renn that had been radiated at a high enough level! They had changed almost fully into something different then Renn by now. The spaceship flew off to join the mother ship. All the other ships had gone in different directions. As they headed back towards the mother-ship, several of them scanned one of the dust clouds, and then practically flew at the speed of light to get away from it... back through the rift, and were gone. Forests spread quickly through Whiterocks. That was what the temperate planet was called, though it was no longer temperate. The plants were producing oxygen, and one species of plant released water. Though summers were hot and humid, winters would be cold and snowy. The trees were conifers with needles. There were several kinds of bushes, with different fruits and seeds, and the grasses varied. Some were thin and green, others were thorny and brown. Lakes began to form, and rain was common. Whiterocks' climate had drastically changed. A few deserts existed, but it was mostly wide forests that spread quickly. The mountains were almost always snow-capped, even in the deserts, and the clouds were thick and many. SLinks managed to stay slinks. They hunted each other as usual.

Edit; now we have two other people to talk to!

Wizard
OOC/U: About sentience and sapience, the life in my universe is, by my understanding of your definition, half sentient, and a few are sapient. They are half-sentient because they are aware of their surroundings, but not themselves. The energy forms however are neither sentient nor sapient at the moment.

Calebfvg
OOC/U: Welcome! If you prefer a nickname, say so.

IC/U: Of the entire universe, now two had carbon-based life, or for that matter, non-energy based life. One had animals with the beginnings of emotion and a somewhat basic memory. The other was simple cells. Of the energy-based life, the advanced KZKZA could now comprehend more, a second place for memory which was about if it was forming other life or not. It was not very advanced, but there was one trait it had that no other life, energy or not, did, and that was omniproximsensing (made up word). Basically, it could sense all around it in all directions up to the fourth dimension of time. Wait, how did that work? Well, its reactions would make it be able to sense the past, and because it could also sense where it was moving, it could also sense the future. It was not even a second into either direction, but it could be said that was true.

At the carbon-based life, in another few million years, a special type of brain evolved that worked on referential learning in addition to primal instinct. It would associate what had harmed it to avoid, and what types of food were more beneficial it would look harder for. It was a basic intelligence, but it would soon become much more.

And I will slow things down a bit, taking your advice.

Continuing...

Radium
The Ventalite species dash across the sand to escape the dangerous jaws of the chicken-like Gorgets, as they are larger. For further escape, they can spread bat-like wings for temporary flight. You could compare them to a Pterodactyl. As said before, they feed off of plants. When night fell on the planet, the radiation was capable of making the sand have a slight glow to it, proving that not very many species needed a decent eyesight. More flora has been sprouting above the surface, providing moisture, free from toxic chemicals that is brought by acidic mist that barely falls into the category of precipitation. This leads to an established ecosystem.

Wizard
OOC/U: About Cuddlefish and Sppedish, sure, where is the link?
OOC/U: About Ploners and questions, no problem on the questions at all. They joined MOSSA as a relatively minor member, and not much happened involving them after that started. There wasn't much about them after that point, and any plans I had (have) for them would not be fulfilled for awhile.

Calebfvg
OOC/U: OOC can also mean out of character in some RPs, but OOU means Out Of Universe. Since we're narrating one, it's to distinguish when we are in and out of it.

IC/U: That intelligence began to learn. Ofter species like it began to slowly form over the planet, each adjusting to the variant climates. It wasn't very adaptable on its own. Eventually, one of the species in a jungle-like climate, began to grow appendages that would allow it to better grip trees. A basic hand was developing.

But elsewhere in the universe, most was dark and dead. The talked about planet was an unlikely one, but it was inevitability of the sizes. Other planets close to life were interfered with by things such as their star exploding, or other stars doing that too close.

The energy-based life slowly moved on, as it always had, with almost no changes here and there including the movement of place it had. By the end of this universe, it might have the ability to sense light. But the spread of its kind continued regardless, and as before, it would find a way to survive even the end.... but what about the middle, would it thrive then?

A Form Z happened to enter the atmosphere of the increasingly intelligent carbon-based life, but not one with hands, but one of a colder climate, and in this individual, connecting, the creature became less instinctual, as something was overriding his normal thoughts. This was slight, however, but enough so that when it was on the move, it made slightly different steps. Slight enough where it pushed a rock of the ground, where originally intending to step over. The rock moved of course, and this was noticed, and then explored.

Thier main and very nearly only source of food was to large and thick to eat. They were dying fast. All they had to eat was a few small patches of dry moss that remained.
Re:You-niverse- whatever you like, however you want! (All are welcome! This means All!)

Wizard
OOC/U: About the links, okay then, no rush.

IC/U: The creature with the Form Z then explored the rock, by moving it around with its feet. This was a new idea to both life forms. After awhile, it moved on, not finding anything to keep it looking. Later though, this thought would spread, the thought of basic curiosity. After the carbon-based life form had died, the Form Z went on and eventually left the planet. The effects made though would be bigger than one would think. Over time on the planet, all of the life adapted in different ways, and the climate slowly changed. From that curiosity difference, some also explored the nearby climates. They became more adaptable. The other life of the jungle began to grow hands, but the jungle too began to shrink, as the planet was getting hotter, not colder. As it was not very adaptable, it was slowly losing the battle. It had found though that some branches were weaker than they used to be, as sometimes they snapped. It did not think to use them, however.

Elsewhere, the energy forms continued. The Form KZKZA had made a second of itself, and that one began to go as the first. The progress of these forms were slow, but that was clear. At this stage, the Form Ks were the most common, but they were the simplest. The Form KZKZAs were the rarest, but the most complex. However, as the forms went on, slight changes were made that wouldn't occur without them. A notable one was the effect of pushing rocks, another was the course of a blackhole. As one light years away, approached the solar system with carbon-based life, the slight energy variances caused by the Form Z which had left, a slight distortion of its path would make it gain power. Enough of such power, that it would attract other stars, and they would attract it, messing up the path, and leading it enough away to not be effective. It's as if the Forms knew, but truly, they were clueless... right?

OOU to all; It was the first day of school today! I'm homeschooled, and this was actually my second day of school but my siblings went to school. You should've seen the fit my little brother had when we woke him up.

IU;

KRAKABOOM! The first star had been gone for a while now, but just now went the second star. KAPOW! The third. KABLAM! KABLAM! next the fourth and fifth. The first few stars all formed at about the same time, and died just minutes apart, which was as you know etremely unlikely to happen. However, being some of of the older, longer living and larger stars, the explosion was enormous! The bright flash in the sky from the biggest star caught the attention of all the slinks on one small planet in a different solar system, though it was still very close. far less then a lightyear in fact. Most of them lived in an area of a few miles, which was huge to them. Then, a few hours later, the loud KABOOM! and then a shaking and heat. This planet was changed radically. Most of the moss and slinks had gotten killed in the earthquakes or from the radiation and heat. The few that lived, lived in a world with jagged cliffs and rocks, it was hot and dry. The only food was each other, and even that was scarce. This planet would never be the same. It was called Nekash.

Splont

The speedfish were gaining size. This was an advantage. It they caught a Cuddlefish and they were twice the size of one, how impossible would it be for them to get away? Remember that these fish aren't fish. They are in fact air breathers; no gills or lungs. but they are developing better and better breath holding skills. As of now they can go for almost fifteen minutes. The Cuddlefish began to hide inside small holes and caves in the rock, but it was very dark and if one swam up for air, they hit the top of the rock, and were lost in he darkness, so instead they tried to stay close to the bottom in the open, blending with the sand.
Now, on another topic, it the past, Cuddlefish didn't mate for life, but now, mates were becoming very emotionally attached to one another. They didn;t take mating lightly either. The males and females would swim around and watch each other when mating season came around. They found who they liked, and if the other liked them to, then they would mate.
Mates never split up. They were nearly always swimming around together. They raised their children from tiny eggs into adults. Usually females would lay about three two six eggs a few days after mating, then waited about a week for them to hatch. when they did, they were the size of a fine grain of sand. But they grew fast. After a year or two, they would be almost more then a millimeter long like thier parents. Cuddlefish usually lived for about twelve years. After the children had grown to be about three, they would swim out on their own. They wouldn't swim far though. Cuddlefish stayed in small communities near the shore.

Edit; (The Next Day) Was anybody here earlier today? Yikes! What were those codes? Does that happen alot?

Wizard
OOC/U: I'm trying to imagine it.

IC/U: Eventually, through branches snapping, falling, and landing on predators chasing the life forms, they began to realize that they could be used to attack things. Some began to look for weaker branches, so when they were chased, those would be grabbed. Over time, this also led to them understanding the beginning of tool using. There was a problem though, forests and jungles were becoming rarer. But this is thousands of years, time to speed things up. The forests continued to recede, the life forms got more advanced, but because of their poor adaptability, the life in the new climate was tough. Only the strongest survived. Tree branches continued to be sought, and one day, they saw a branch fall on it's own after something bright smashed in a tree. The branch also had some of this light, but it wasn't as much. Others might call it fire...

The energy forms were indeed clueless, but their reactions were very specialized. So much so, almost everything they had a special reaction for. The ones they didn't were only to each other, because of how often they were near one another. Ironic? Not really, just how it was.

Elsewhere in the universe, many things had happened, but none as significant as mentioned. They would become significant in billions of years, though, so not too long now.

They keep things from spilling out into other worlds or in the space between worlds. If you think outer space is nothingness, you have not seen nothingness. One day, an inexplicable even happened. In every universe something inexplicable is bound to happen sooner or later. The wall of the universe ripped open, but in a different way then a dimensional rift. Dimensional rifts are purposefully opened by a race, or powerful being, or whatever it is, but it's safe. A wormhole connection is made that will not allow most objects to pass through. It won't affect every universe it touches, and it touches every universe, and it is not in the wall. A tear in the wall of the universe is different. It affects everything, in multiple worlds, though not every world. Some beings came. Powerful beings who live unimaginably long lives appeared. You might call them gods, though that's not what they are, so they may repair the tear in the wall.
Wizard
OOC/U: I've been more busy than usual the last few days plus Sporum glitches when I wasn't.
OOC/U: I try not to back to back post unless it's been at least 24 hours between them, and I feel sure enough that my posting will continue the topic. My last OOC/U though is why I haven't been posting more this time.
OOC/U: If the narrator will be a character in my story, it will be him explaining the past (or an idea of it), and why will be revealed at the end. It'll be awhile before then, though.

IC/U: The life began to explore the properties of said strange light when it at first went for the branch as a tool. Once it noticed how the light effected other things, and spread the light (burning the place), there was a mixture of great fear, and feeling of great power never before felt by any life form in the universe. But this was a short-lived time. As the life continued, others eventually heard of such light, and tried to learn where it came from to get more of it. Eventually some looked high enough to find more of the light, but farther away... the stars. The passage of astronomy had eventually made it intelligent enough to reason... that it must get there. But how did it know the stars were balls of fire? It didn't, but the mind of such creatures thought if it could be looked at, they should be able to get there, but it was too high like a cliff right now. As all of this was going on, experiments with tools combined began to create new insights, and sparks... created fire... controlled fire... other creatures being burned... cooking... radical change in the way of life... more time... other explorations... cooperation... teamwork... socialization... almost society, but not quite. A few things were missing.

The energy forms, as said before, though had no knowledge of such things, not even the idea there was something in front of them. They reacted, but there was no idea or awareness of such a thing. They continued on despite this, as they had since the first universe. Despite their simplicity, they survived the longest, and would survive the longest... but how long?

IC/U: But these few things missing were relatively quickly fulfilled, only a few thousand years. As they were not very adaptable on their own, they lived in a smaller place than most sentient beings could. As the idea of construction came, and soon, more advances in technology, they became less adaptable, but more able to develop things which would allow them to live elsewhere. Competition for the land they had amongst their own kind however, never happened. There was too much else to worry about. At this significant time, they had begun to understand domestication. On a colder end of the planet, a similar creature, but not as intelligent began to explore tool using. This was not from traditional evolution however, but the slight variances caused by the Forms in the past.

As the two groups advanced, the colder climate ones became more hunters, while the warmer climate ones became more farmers. The hunters were weaker in intelligence, but were considerably stronger. These two groups however wouldn't meet for many years. So, quite quickly. Eventually, the idea of the wheel entered the warmer climate's group, and travel became a bigger part of their existence. But would they ever travel through the void of space? The answer is yes, but not in the way most would expect.

When the two met, they were different enough to not communicate and think they were only similar. This led to the awareness of themselves more from something to compare it to. Over time, more expeditions were made both ways, as the colder climate species imitated the boat-making and using skills. I guess come back when you can.
IC/U: As the species fought each other, a Form Z entered one of the warmer-climate life forms. Considering the vastness of space, and the size of these forms, it was unusual how so many Forms went there. It's as if it was planned, but it wasn't, not at all. This Form gained more though this time than the other life. In the reactions, it had begun to partially merge with the life's memory, forming the idea of... well, idea. The life was relatively short, but the Form gained much from this trip. It became what would be called Form ZB. In the end of the universe, it would be very important.

Far from that place, another planet had begun to form more advanced cells.
IC/U: The Form ZB had a strange ability unique to it and all Forms. That ability was to connect the memories together to determine a better reaction.

Time has been too slow, though. It is time to speed things up. The two civilizations ended their war from eventual agreement that peace was better. Later still, the climate became too different, and they died out. The most advanced they got was the idea of metalworking. Later still, the climate had become mostly hot around the world, from the growing star.

On the second world, the world's atmosphere had become mostly methane. This was a hot planet, so much so, that it became like Venus. Too hot for life, even the kind that made methane. It died out, but its effect was nowhere near over.

Over the next few million years that happened, and over the next billion, the star of the second world supernovaed. The planet survived with it's methane atmosphere intact. The first planet was nearing too hot for life, but it wasn't quite there.

At this point, no planets had carbon-based life. The Forms went on, and by now, a second Form ZB had formed. Elsewhere, the universe remained violent, and could be considered lifeless.

The universe slowly becomes less dangerous, but despite this, no more life forms more advanced than cells, and they don't emerge until about the 10 billion year mark. They each die out within another 200 million years, except for a few, and those few will eventually have multi-cellular life. A couple more billion years, and across the universe, there is intelligent life again, 3 species in total. Indeed, life is rare, however, in the future, it will be much more common. It was quite a different culture. After a couple thousand years, each one advanced so highly, their were few things they didn't know. These were each other, and how the Forms formed. They had discovered more of them, but that's about it. They couldn't find any clues otherwise. They were also surprised from the absence of other life in the universe, that despite the size, any life apparently was rare. They had discovered the two earlier worlds once hosted life, but never to their level. With their technology, they tried reviving them and their culture. But because time travel wasn't known, it wasn't perfect. It didn't matter though, because it didn't work in the first place.

Meanwhile, one of the Forms when it reproduced this time, created an odd mutation caused by the interference of observation. It created one that had the ability to hold more energy than the usual, but that was because it had lost the ability to reproduce. This would a Form KA, and that ability would have a surprising effect in the long run, but again, that was the long run.

OOC/U to Calebfvg: Welcome back.
IC/U:

The civilization revival failed because there was too little information to work with on reviving the other life. As the life was not sure what to do, it split into studying three main things. One was the entire universe, a mapping. Two, was studying the Forms. Three, was to make abstract art to keep things interesting.

The mapping of the universe had found the other civilization, and the two attempted contact. Despite the militaristic growth in the past, peace was readily agreed with. They had weapons capable of destroying galaxies but none were used, nor would any.

The Forms were studied, but not much new had been gained. One thing new though they found was their age, and this completely changed their studies of science of before. They figured they were around for billions of years, as the universe had been, but they had found with the evolutionary rate they had, they must have been older than the universe. Far older. Indeed this was true, but all of their physics understanding was based upon the notion that the current universe has always been the only one.

The abstract art was interesting, but often, it was hard to come up with it. As almost every conceivable scene had already been made or felt. There was one though, created by one such being, that had not been since the first universe. That scene was of a more empty universe, with the stars as rare as galaxies here. The scene had indeed happened in the first universe, but that was coincidence, right?

Re:You-niverse- whatever you like, however you want! (All are welcome! This means All!)

OOU to all; Hey! sorry I've been so annoying lately. I'm back 4 good now, but I'll sometimes be gone for a week or two at A time. I'm working on a big project that you'll all hopefully see.
OOU to Gamer; LATG ended recently I think. I'm going to go read the last post later.
OOU to Game; Sorry I was so annoying. I was going through a very depressed period, especially for me.

Splont (Water Planet)

Evolution has finally fully formed gills here, and so the creatures here now were able to flourish, without the worry of going up for air every few minutes. The Speedfish began looking for food away from the Cuddlefish, and fed on small groups of slinks and pinks which had not evolved much beyond being able to float along the water's surface and gulp in air. The Cuddlefish's language was devoloped, thier brains were developed, and they could feel emotion. So, with everything about being an animal behind them, they began to build. They built simple huts, made from a few rocks and plants, and then they began wearing clothes. They just entangled water plants around them at first, but as the years progress, they learned to use thier stumpy fingers to weave plants together into useful skirts, "Hats", shirts and even used rocks to make necklaces. The clothes covered them so they could not be seen by each other, but they did not cover them from being touched by the cold. Like on rainy days when the water shook and the surface trembled.

Over the next few centuries, they began to make sturdy stone houses. They would file pebbles into the right shape by scraping them against big rocks. They would then use a sticky substance from a large plant that grew in abundance near where they lived to stick them together. They made a door out of, you guessed it, plants, also glued together with the sticky substance. When the currents were fast or a storm was blowing against the surface, the water inside the houses remained still. The Cuddlefish developed farming, cooking, schools, everything they needed. Everything was perfect.

for a little while

Mantell (LATG creatures are here)

as you can imagine, the Fadine were terrified! They were happy at the same time because they had been sucked into the ship just before they would have died, but they surveyed thier new surroundings. The original planet Mantell was a lava planet, with a few large islands in the coldest areas on the planet. These areas were where all the life lived. They looked around, and couldn't find the lava ocean anywhere! This new Mantell had giant fissures in the planet's crust. There were canyons, some more then two miles deep, that had rivers of magma whizzing through at the bottom.
The Fadine had not come here alone. The Glowers were here. Glowers are small bio-luminescent butterflies. They start off as catterpillars and metamorphosize just as any other butterflies. The Glowers are sentient, and divided into two factions. The faction that lives with the Fadine in tribal villaiges, and the Faction the build hives, in which they have invented electricity, vehicles, and other things.

The largest of the Glowers hives seems to be here, but the many other hives, all part of the "Glower Empire" must have perished with Mantell I or Mantell II.

The Original Mantell was, as said, a lava planet, and the second Mantell was a very hot moon. The Fadine and Glowers were moved to Mantell II by a spaceship, possibly the same one that took them here. It picked up all the hives it could, but missed a few. Once they were deposited on the moon, they started to die. The Spaceship returned after just one week, but half of thier tribe was already dead. It hurriedly picked them up, and took plant species from Mantell. That solar system went through Supernova.

The leader of the only clan left flew as high as he could and called. Thier allied clan did not respond, and neither did anyone else. He somehow knew Mantell I was gone, and all the other clans had gone with it. They were alone.

LATG Universe

Every star, every planet, every galaxy died. Everything was gone, and a great void was left. Accept for one star system. Sometimes there are strange inexplicable events. People call them miracles. An inexplicable miracle happened, and the universe survived. A twin star system, with a moon, a gas giant, and a lava planet.

I'm back and annoyingly energetic as ever!

OOC/U: Welcome back, Wizard. Hopefully, you'll be here at least once a week. The project though sounds interesting.
OOC/U to Wizard: I saw LATU, though haven't read it. I have posted in the LATU OOC though. I think I'm going to return there at some point, once I have time to catch up in it. I am not sure about the Ploners as much, but if I do return, I will be a different race for sure: the Clay Beings.
OOC/U to Wizard: No problem on the past though, at least the depression is over.
OOC: I usually don't skim stories, and this time wasn't an exception.
IC/U:

It was mostly coincidence that the sight had indeed been one in the past, as inevitability made it. But the reason it wasn't completely, was because there was a Form slightly influencing the thoughts of the maker. As the civilizations had advanced so far, they had made a device which found and detected such tiny energies, and they had noticed that one was in there kind. It seemed like there was some grand plan to it, but was there? The memories of the Forms were limited, and their reactions were often extremely specific. The fact these led to what they did made the life wonder. But it was still unclear, and it might never be clear if it was or not.

At around the same time, the militaristic civilization had also joined in the universal exploration, and to its surprise, despite the fact over 80% of the universe was mapped, only three sentient races had been found including their own.

After a couple of years, the rest of the universe was mapped, a new physics model seemed to explain how there could be more than one universe, but it remained incomplete. Beyond the universe apparently was impossible, as there was literally nothing there. Or so it seemed. A ship traveling into it could travel no further. The energy Forms never went that far, because they traveled too slow to do so, but one of the last remaining mysteries was that. The other main one was why they were there in the first place. Was it just physics, was there any more to it? No answer.

But it wasn't over, not even close, as they figured with all they knew, perhaps the best thing to do was to create and spread life, so it could join them in the otherwise empty universe. Billions of planets were seeded with the chemicals for life, of all different kinds that were understood. In other words, carbon-based life. No other forms besides the energy were thought possible, and to an extent, they weren't... yet.

OOU to all; every time I post something I feel like I come out sounding like a bigger dork then before! I should be here at least every other day.
OOU to Gamer; I don't suffer from depression, if that's what you thought. Just some big things going on in life which I don't want to bother you guys with now.

OOU to all; I have read more of LATU, and since the LATG universe survives and turns into LATU, Mantell I and Mantell II exist there.

IU;

Mantell III

The Fadine and the Glowers found life far easier than life on Mantell II had been, though the original Mantell was ideal. Using strange tall dry plants (grass) and the sticks and leaves they were used to, their villaige was soon rebuilt and life went on as usual. The Glower hive worked on rebuilding thier hive since it was seriously damaged during both transports. Soon, they began assigning families the difficult task of establishing new cities, but they rose to the challenge and soon beautiful silvery cities dotted the wide grassy fields. The Faxdine and the Glowers that lived with them tried to stay away from the fields which were occupied by the Civ Glowers, for the noisy hum of machines was always there.

And so life went on. Cities grew and spread all over the fields and some even in the trees as the Civ Glowers spread thier empire. Eight legged spider like creatures had been transported here with them, and they were always watching for an unwary Glower, though there was rarely a report of one succeeding. Mostly, things were safe and fulfilling for the Glowers.

The same could not be said for the Fadine or the Tribe Glowers. They were happy enough, but often they missed life on thier planet. Where was thier planet now? What had happened to it? But they tried to move on. Eventually they discovered that a small pack of hunting creatures called the TerrorHands had been taken with them. The TerrorHands had sharp claws they used for ripping up prey. Right now, they were scavenging dead insects and other such things. The Fadine felt they had nothing to fear.

By the time a mere 118 years had passed, which was about four generations for the fadine and two for the Glowers, everything had changed. The Fadine called every sunrise or sunset (of which there were three due to the twin star system) for other Fadine. They were lonely. And all the children were told stories by thier grandparents about how beautifu Mantell I was, and how amazing Mantell II was. They longed for home.

Lucky for them that the Glowers wanted to expand to the stars for other reasons.

Over the 118 years that had passed, technology had increased in the world of Glowers. They had freeways and skyscrapers, rollercoasters and sports games, Supercolliders and microscopes that could view atoms, and all were small enough to be toys for human children. The Three Queens and Three Kings had expanded the Glower empire much farther then they ever imagined. Several Colonies, though they were now more towns and cities then real colonies, were in the trees. The fields were so filled with cities in some places that you couldn't see the grass. They even built a bridge across the nearest canyon and began to colonize over there too. They couldn't pass the next canyon, so they used airplanes and other means to get there. Once they had expanded out, then naturally the next place to go was up. But it took them another few years to finally create a spaceship that was safe enough. There were three explosions, five windshield breaking, and one total disintegration. Not only that, all these came just from simulations! They never sent even one of these into space.

The first working spaceship, named the Wizard  was launched in the year 120 A.L. (After Leaving, meaning after they were abducted fro Mantell I) The Glowers let the Fadines stick thier heads into the nearby cities and watch the amazing event on Television. The Fadine understood what television was well enough, so it didn't scare them, and they spoke very nearly the same language as the glowers so they could understand what was going on. One of the Queens gave a long speech about thier proud history, and told about what she had heard of Mantell, since she was so young at that time. She finished with saying that it was now possible to colonize new worlds, and eventually they might find Manetell I.

And with that they launched t. The first Spaceship. It went up, up up, and succesfully went into orbit. They then tried flying to another planet, and after several hours of top speed travel ended up in orbit around a world that was far colder then thiers, but supported the life of some basic moss, slinks and pinks. The brave astroauts landed and walked out. This was where theyd set up a colony.

"Ladies and Gentleman" Said the queen "We Give you Planet Glow!"

EDIT; Hey, five pages!

OOC/U to Wizard: On depression, I couldn't tell. The word 'depressed' made it unclear. I see what you mean now, though.
IC/U:

The life grew everywhere, each with different cultures, and ways of thinking. The three main ones began to realize they were like gods in this universe, but even they had questions. They wondered if the old gods they believed in were really races like them who had ascended so far. With the physics incomplete, it seemed to suggest so, but then Any-Time Viewing technology was made, and showed they had only arose through evolution. There was no more to it. The answer of where they came from remained unanswered.

The other millions of races though had no knowledge of them, and continued exploring and progressing. They had their ideas, their conflicts, their progress, their wars, their advancement, their awareness. The higher three noticed that occasionally the Forms influenced the paths of the growing life ever so slightly. But it was slight enough that in years, it could make a huge difference. One race's leader was influenced enough to think slightly more about peace during a war, and went for it. The higher three noticed if it wasn't for that, another race would have continued the war and destroyed them with their developed weapons. Not everything the Forms did was peaceful, but it seemed strange what they did. It was then the higher three wondered, what if these Forms were the past gods?

OOU to gamer; Since I never caught that hint about the Ploners, I'm now wondering if the forms have something to do with it. Enjoying your posts as much if not more then LATG.

OOU to all/any; Because both me and Gamer are dealing with spacefaring empires and I am planning on dealing with multiple spacefaring empires, there will be some "Empire Sheets" on the first page, since saying the name of the planet might get confusing.

IU;

Splont

The Cuddlefish's first war broke out over something very trifling. There were two Cuddlefish, neighbors, hated each other. Someimes they would throw things at each others houses. This didn't cause much damage but was annoying. Sometimes they would argue and fight, but finally, one day, it happened. One Cuddlefish attacked the other, ad they fought. Others rushed over to try and stop the terrible fight, but it ended up that many people were fighting with each other depending upon sides. After three days of planned attacks, terrible wounds and three deaths, one strong cuddlefish made himself known. He rushed out, and stopped the fight. He took both Cuddlefish, and asked "Who attacked first?" veryone pointed at the attacker. "Was it provoked?" "No." Said the attacker. The Attacker was put in a small crck in the rocks, and given food every day, but never let out.
Now, if you stole, murdered, graffitied, or commited any other crime, the leader would entance you to time inside a small crack in a rock. SOme were never let out, but it kept the criminals in line and made things safer and more peaceful.

Glower Empire

Planet Glow had ship after ship sent, set up several cities, and had flowers transported so they would have alot of nectar and food. Pinks became popular pets, and Slinks were avoided at all costs. Everything went on normally, however, the Glowers had been led into a dangerous belief. After thier three experiences of space travel, they thought every planet was safe and could support life. They flew to an atmosphereless ice ball with a thousand or two glowers in thier biggest space ship yet. They anded fine, and were about to open all the door and let the glowers come out to colonize the as of now unnamed planet. The airlocks opened, and everything changed. Whooosh! air went rushing out so fast it sucked Glowers with it. On intergalactic television, a few hundred Glowers suffocated and froze. The airlocks sealed, and emergency oxygen reserved were released. The remaining Glowers were horrified. They were returned to thier homes, on both Mantell III and Glow.
This was a dark, but importnt moment in history. They explored the solar system, learning that in order to colonize a planet, it would need to have certain things on it, like fertile soil, a temperature between 110 to 50 degrees. Anything more or less was unbearable for the Glowers and the Fadine. Yes, at first they began transporting the Fadine through space because Glowers were too valuable, but soon they began transporting them to set up colonies. The Fadine were part of the Glower Empire. They had two villages on planet glow, twenty villages on Mantell III and one village on Mantell III's moon. They set up and air dome there that supported a few Glower cities and the small tribal huts of the Fadine. The Glower empire was going on.

Edit; is it shocking to anyone that this is one of the hottest topics in the RP section?

OOC/U to Wizard (first part): The Forms are a part of it, indeed, but in what way is somewhat far from being revealed completely. Also, thanks!
OOC/U to Wizard (second part): I'm not sure, but I think the Hottest Topics is based upon the activity in the last few days or something. In that case, it seems kind of surprising.
IC/U:

The high three had noticed that the new life that had reached sentience almost all came up with different religions. A couple mentioned the forces of three main gods with varying perspectives who had created them, but they were so few, it seemed it had to be a coincidence. They could even see through time that they had come up with that belief to organize the forces, but yet it was right. There were many though that were not correct as far as the high three knew. They were wondering, still, and then found one culture with a religion that surprised them. What it was the belief that life went in cycles with small changes made by the gods of not large, but small.

This seemed to be a coincidence, but they wondered. Any-Time Viewing showed the Forms made no clear intervention. Despite this though, there remained no answer. As far as the high three could tell, the Forms were not capable of thinking outside a limited memory, but then they only had limited reactions. Then an idea struck. Because they knew there were multiple universes, but they could not leave the current, what if the Forms had come from another universe, which the gods or at least a very advanced race, sent to influence the way this turned out to create what it had.

Meanwhile, the first few of the new life had begun to make faster-than-light travel, and their first inter-species contacting. As more life was known about, eventually the high three noticed something they never had experienced themselves, war amongst the life. The high three wondered if they should intervene.

OOC/U to Wizard: What do you think it is, or the part is? PM if you prefer. And do you want me to tell you if you are close?
OOC/U to Wizard: Ah, so that's what they look like. Cool creatures.
IC/U:

They decided not to, knowing from their own pasts, that when life was intervened with in the past, it caused problems. But then they also realized they didn't think about the outcomes of creating new life, that seemed to be a unquestioned agreement. Why was that, they wondered.

The wars happened, but so did alliances, and soon federations, and united groups. Those groups advanced more in weaponry and defense, than in science and culture, the high three noticed. The militaristic of the high three understood their reactions to build weapons, but not to use, as it seemed peace should be fine. The peaceful did not understand the reasons to build, but understood why peace was not fine.

Too many people, or races, could make life violent, and too few could as well. The high three had more people who became peaceful from too few life, rather than warlike. The militaristic also followed this, as when in the past, it had built weapons, it had suspected an enemy was around, but it never was proven.

As the high three talked about these matters, the life below continued to do what it had done. And as those did what they had done, on the lowest scale in size, but yet highest in curiosity, the Forms acted as if nothing was going on that had not before. But soon, something that had not yet happened, would happen with two of the more advanced Forms. Despite their specialized reactions, this had not happened exactly before.

I've already been working on them for A while.

IU;

Splont

The Cuddlefishes population was very small, but they still wanted to expand. Some of them sent out a small party to a strong and well known current so they could start more cities far away. The small group could travel very fast by following the fast current, but soon, they found that the water was becoming deeper and colder. It was far heavier then they were used to as well. Eventually, they decided to leave the current. Giant Kelp-Like plants surrounded them. They were in an undersea forest.
It was cold, an dark. Not much light reached the floor. The tall plants were beautiful, but something struck them as odd. What was that noise? It wasn't a speedfish, or an insect... it sounded much bigger... Something was swimming just outside the kelp forest. They moved towards the noise, and found an enormous drop off. The strange sounds were coming from there.
Most of the Cuddlefish were terrified, but curiosity got the best of them. They swam down into the deep dark cave. The water got heavier and heavier. Suddenly they realized what danger they were in. No matter how hard they tried they couldn't swim back up. They were sinking..... down down down, until they reached cool soft sand and quiet darkness.

EDIT; Wow! This is the second from the top of the list!

OOC/U to Wizard: Received, and replied to.
OOC/U to Wizard: Sure, go ahead.
OOC/U to Calebfvg: Welcome back.
IC/U:

So what was new with the Forms? The new thing was that three Forms, one the most advanced, one relatively simple, and the unique one caused by the high three intervention, all met up with each other at the same time. They combined, and merged into a very complex one that had more places for memory, while still having specialized reactions to things. The high three noticed this, and thought that it seemed too unlikely to be just a coincidence, and whether or not it was, it had happened. The high three wondered if it was set up so they'd evolve by the Forms, just to make the Forms evolve, but was that even possible?

The Forms seemed too simple to be such a way, but then they had another idea. Maybe the Forms weren't responsible as much as the thing that created the Forms, or even started existence. "What did start existence?", they wondered again. The new physics model showed there were multiple universes, but only one was known about. The Forms had evolved in the past universe, so either the ones who made them were there, or even further back, and had planned all this out. Why? And was this really the case? The high three had realized that even with all their abilities and knowledge, this remained unclear. How could they know? There seemed no way to know, but an answer showed itself quickly. They had created other life, millions of species, when they reached the levels of the high three, they would learn things the high three had overlooked, and then working together, they would surely figure it out.

That is, if it happened. As the main life grew and spread, they often resorted to war more often than peace. So technology grew more in weapons than in understanding the ways of existence and life. The high three partly thought this was the new direction of thought needed, and partly thought that maybe they need to intervene.

OOC to 98wizard523: Sorry for my inactivity as well.
OOC to SnappCreaturez: I guess just start posting. That's what I did. There was no specific registration method.
IC:

All over the universe, the different species did different things. They were all pretty similar when you get down to it, though. War, alliances, peace, sciences, militarizes, culture, economics, trade, religion, destruction, construction, etc. The high three were surprised on how much war there was as they never had that much while they arose. They realized why, as they had found life more precious as they grew. The millions of species saw it as commonplace.

That one advanced Form had begun to reach it's first species. The high three wondered if they should do something or just let it be. The Form began to influence one being of that species towards a pursuit of war where the race had normally believed in peace. The high three knew they could intervene, but weren't sure if they should. They decided to do so, by changing the interference in that one's brain to believe in peace more again. The Form adapted to the high three's actions but instead of changing it, it left as the physics directions made it. That one individual though could feel the differences occurring, and that had led the peaceful nation to study science more. Even if it was different than war, the interference had been done.

Meanwhile, the high three had also discovered a curious physics formula, one that explained how a universe could have formed from a single type of matter. It was called Zazaza-Matter.

They even saw an oceanic planet that there appeared to be plants ad maybe complex life forms on! Unfortunately even this was too far. One day however, they saw something else.
Positioned almost conveniently between the Orb and Green galaxies was a long... something. Enormous amounts of sca patterns could be detected... from traces of radiation to what seemed like radio broadcasts! They could make out music and words from these. All kinds of strange words, some even in their language! Terrible things as well, signals sometimes had screaming words pleading for mercy, or saying last goodbyes. Every single message or video or sound or radiation or incomprehensible alien technology or anything that went out and was lost seemed to be pouring through that crack, that rip, that whatever it was...

And the cell met another cell. And they made an egg. Cells had never seen anything like this before. Then, after one cell was almost completely done evolving, it couldn't breathe underwater anymore. It swam up to the surface as fast as it could. The cells all watched in awe as that one little guy swam to the edge of the tide-pool and took it's first wobbly steps.

It turned around to look at the tde-pool, it's home, then turned back around and went to find food.
OOC to Wizard: Sorry for my inactivity lately.
OOC to Wizard and 98Toadette523: I just realized, except for the middle word, your usernames are the same. Was that planned?
IC:

The Zazaza-Matter was a very interesting theoretical particle. It explained how there could be universes in the first place, and how there could be one before. It didn't explain though how the Forms survived from one universe to the next, as that was thought impossible before the discovery of the Forms. It also didn't explain where Zazaza-Matter came from. But the biggest surprise of them all was that the being of the high three who came up with that idea, had a Form interfering with their thoughts during the time of discovery. There was something unusual about these Forms. That was certain now.

Meanwhile, the other species often advanced or fell. Over time, the first federation emerged attempting to unite all species. It had gained many members, creating a strong force. Some others formed in response. Others stayed their own empire, but pursued war less often. Sometimes the Forms interfered, that much was clear. The high three also sometimes interfered on the interference to see how it changed, but they never interfered directly.

As the research continued, one answer was revealed how the Forms even formed in the previous universe. The Zazaza-Matter had the trait of creating a different way of physics for every other universe it created. The first would be relatively weak, the second would be relatively strong, and then it would repeat three times, and then no longer form. But if it wasn't an infinite cycle, where did the first of it come from?

Clever idea.
OOC/U on making it slow: Well, it's your RP.
IC/U:

As the research continued into the Forms and Zazaza-Matter, it became more clear how the Forms could have evolved from the weak universe. As only the most solid matter would form, whatever would form would be especially strong. This also showed it could survive the end of a universe. The strange thing was though, looking on this physics, it seemed perfectly accurate. Why was that strange? Because then it wasn't the Forms which started this...

Meanwhile, the other life continued to grow and change. Some big federations began to grow, some pursuing peace, some pursuing power, some pursuing merely survival. To the high three's surprise, those seeking survival was the most common.

It was then an even stranger discovery was made. A wormhole had taken in a Form, making it travel at around the speed of light. It exited just on the edge of the universe. It spat out, and flew to the border. The measurement showed that it would reach the border and possibly pass it if they intervened. This opportunity would probably not happen again. And they needed a quick decision. They decided to go for it, and made it so that it would temporarily travel faster than light.

Despite the fact the high three had built ships to the same, for a few seconds, the Form had passed the border. It turned around itself before going any further as there was no energy there to use. The fact of the matter was though: the border to the universe was crossed.

OOC/U on viruses: That's a lot of anti-viruses. I'll consider that possibility.
IC/U:

The border to the universe had been crossed, even though the universe was apparently expanding there. They also saw the reason the Form turned around. Again, there was no energy there. This raised many questions, such as what is beyond the border? The high three began to realize no matter how much they learned in the past, there still were mysteries.

Meanwhile, the other life not even aware of the universe barrier's position, continued to change. Soon, the first galaxy wide federation formed pursuing peace. A rival galaxy did soon after forming for power. As the two fought, a third formed for survival amongst the battle. These seemed to do the best, as they most prepared for war, but not offensively to the point where it cost too many resources.

The high three wondered why they couldn't go beyond the border while the Forms could. They concluded that it was because energy was needed to do so. Their FTL ships relied on energy around to move. The Forms, as if by design, could work with or without it, but looked for it anyway. They realized, if they were to travel there, they'd need to build a ship that didn't use any energy. They began working on this, but all their science showed it was impossible, unless it was ridiculously small, like the Forms. The high three wondered what would happen if they made something like a Form, but with the abilities and memories of one of them. This began to be explored.

The research continued into making a Form. It was difficult, even for the high three, but it was under way. The difficult part was making it stable and hold knowledge on such a small scale. The other Forms found were looked at to see how they did it. Right now, though, it seemed like it wouldn't be finished for awhile.

At the same time, the other races continued to spread and change in many different ways. The high three observing this began to notice these other races make things that the high three had not. These were not just federations, but technologies and ideas as well. The great diversity had shown many insights. One such insight was a method of storing knowledge in a very simple way, which the high three looked for in the pursuit of making Forms. The other races used it to make more efficient computers.

The high three then wondered if at this time, should they reveal themselves to the other life, and if so, how to do it. They concluded yes, but still wondered how.

OOU; Finally! I have set aside some time today to post. This should be an interesting one. I'm considering this as the real start of the story (Woo-hoo! I'll be able to hold your interest now!), the real fun begins here!

IU; With haste and overconfidence driving the Glowers to explore, they sent out a large party to investigate the rip more closely. It wasn't until after months of drifting along in the Wizard that they finally got on course, and started the rockets. They had lots of fuel in storage, and rushed as quickly as possible to the rip.

More months passed, and finally they were close enough to get a really good look at it, scanned it, and discovered that scientifically it was impossible. It couldn't exist. It was a two dimensional object floating in space, with nothing to exist on.

It was only a few days, they reported back to their homeworld just once, and then they saw it. A cloud of dust slowly drifting through space. Not just any kind of dust, but Renn. This was the material that everything in this Universe was made of on some level. Accept the Glowers, Fadine and Organisms from their world. They came from a different Universe. A Universe where things made far more sense. With every new discovery, they were more and more baffled.

The Queen stepped out in front of her subjects, Cameras broadcasting to three planets. She looked happy, but frazzled.

"Everyone, all of you, we would like to report some major discoveries y our brave team on the Wizard. They're out there, millions of miles away, and it we had been even one star further into the galaxy, this would not have been possible. The team has discovered three very very important things."

She looked down from her high balcony, making eye contact with whoever she could.

"One, the Rip is impossible. It can't technically exist, but it's still there. Two, there are transmissions coming from the rip, beckoning us with the same call from thousands of years ago. We have begun to return that call. Three, the mineral known as Renn, that makes up everything in this Universe, is alive."

Re:You-niverse- whatever you like, however you want!

OOC/U: That was an interesting post. I was interested before, but that's increasing it greatly.
IC/U: The high three continued to research things, most notably the Form creation, the other races and how to introduce themselves to the other races. Using the other races' methods of information storage, and the already understood mechanisms of the Forms, they had built a life form the size of a Form but the knowledge of the higher three while being able to communicate to the higher three. But there was another issue. Sure, they now could go beyond the universe, but how could they get it to return? Right now, the Forms automatically returned to the universe after leaving it, but how could they make it leave and then return later after gathering all of the information it could? That was not yet resolved.

Meanwhile, the other races continued to explore and change. They had not reached the technology of the high three, but there were some things they had the high three didn't, primarily in cultural differences, but also technology sometimes. They didn't know of the Forms but they did learn how to construct an artificial solar system from a single particle.

As for the high three, one observation discovered something peculiar after the first test on the synthetic Form was completed. At the very edge of the universe was a strange substance never noticed before. It wasn't holding any energy in or preventing any from entering or anything like that, but it was almost like some kind of well-crafted iron. It also was very different from any other material in the entire universe, besides perhaps the Forms. It was stronger by millions of times, but otherwise no different, not even lighter. It didn't make any sense... at first.

OOC/U: That iron has been mentioned before, and now its coming up again.

He was still a child and being lost without his mother was terrifying. He hid beneath a rock, and cried. Another Cuddlefish came along and saw him. He knew it was dangerous to stop here but he had to help this poor creature.

"are you alright?" he asked. "what's happening? are you alright?"

the boy had stopped crying. "Yes, I'm just lost. I got pulled away in a storm."

"Where do you live? I can take you home."
The little evolved cell dragged his foot out of the tide pool, shook the water off of his skin, and looked around at this new and strange world. Then he looked back at the tide pool that he would have to leave to leave behind. He turned around, nose in air, and walked away, trying to forget about his old home.

Back in our tide pool, the other cells were freaking out. They never had expected something like this to ever happen to them. Then one of the other cells, who was barely fitting, rose out of the tide pool and walked away after the first. This kept happening over the course of time, until the tide pool was almost empty. Most of the cells were very sad that their friends and family were leaving them, which led them to follow suit. Then the tide pool held none of the cells that had been in there before, and only new cells that were no where near evolving yet.

Now back to what's going on on land. The first and second cells had mated on land, and when their eggs hatched, the babies looked different than they did. These little babies had arms, hands, and antennae. When the parents watched them hatch, they were shocked at first, then decided that they would be able to live with it.

OOC/U about new members: Welcome.
OOC/U about OP: Nice OP. I wonder what the banner will look like.
OOC/U to jfitz00: Cool beginning.
IC/U: The Odd-Iron, as it had become named by the high three, continued to be researched, mostly with the synthetic Form, as no tools could otherwise reach so small. As far as they could tell, it was formed out of a very different kind of energy than most of the universe, but the same the Forms were made of. They concluded, and correctly, that it was made in the previous universe like the Forms. But then, which came first? And how did they form? They began to understand this, and as the Odd-Iron was understood, so the Forms were as well. At first, the Forms seemed completely unique, but it appeared in the previous universe, the energy formed differently. They got that part right. It seemed energy was stronger in the previous universe, allowing the Forms and this Odd-Iron. They got that part wrong.

The high three also had made their plan for presenting themselves to the other races. They would come in a ship close to their technology levels using wormhole travel. They begun to do so. As the first ship arrived in a galaxy, the races acted differently. Most didn't notice, but those that did all tried to contact them. As translations were made, or rather seemingly (the high three knew it already), they discussed relations before mentioning they had been observing for a long time. They didn't reveal themselves as an ultra powerful group to not create fear. However, this had also changed how their relations and work would be in the future more than the high three ever would realize.

IC:

Years passed, and the galaxy was still blank. One could only wait... And wait... And wait.
Eventually, on the galaxy's 232th year, some life finally showed up. Not in the form of meteors or tiny ameobas, but a lost traveler from another world. How he traveled so far, that was unknown. But soon, he crashed onto the small planet of Neibleosa. Most of his ship was ruined, but he and his cargo remained intact. He was too far away to contact home, or anyone for that matter. The traveler would die on this planet, there was no doubt about that, but who knows what his ship contained?
The planet was completely barren, although the one thing it had was oxygen. In the ship's cargo were a large group of spoffits, some ice crystal samples, some small shrub-weeds, and two dozen creature abductees from a long since failed research. The explorer ate what he could to survive; therefore the spoffits definitely didn't make it. But soon, he knew he wouldn't live. He did what he could to plant the weeds, left the ice crystals to grow, and the herd of creatures to do whatever they could to survive and hopefully be able to live off of the plants.
The traveler died, with nothing but hope for the rest to live.

It was just a tiny bit of dust, but it turned hotter then the greatest heat source in the multiverses in just seconds! It was so hot that it showed an entire timeline of a universe. After a few minutes, it exploded into a universe unlike no other. It had space that creatures (EVEN CELLS) could LIVE in. On one of the pools of water that appeared in space about 1 second after the explosion, a small explosion appeared. Out of the nothingness of space, a small cell had appeared.
OOC: Hey! I've read the OP and I'd like to join.

First there was nothing. Then, all the sudden, The Big Bang was taking place.
Let me describe what happened in full detail.
First, these white sparks of energy floated to the center point of this new universe. These white sparks clustered together, and created, what I call, a Proto-Universe Disk. It wasn't over, though. The white sparks clumped together, forming a small white sphere. Then, it changed colors. These colors were the colors that would be seen. Then, BOOM! Trillions of weird shapes of energy blasted into the empty space. These shapes slowly molded into Galaxy Cores. Then, nebulae and stars started forming around these cores. Pretty soon, you had galaxies that were big, small, round, spiral, and just plain crazy.
A long time later, planets started to form around these stars. These planets looked different then the current planet I'm writing this on today (it's called Earth!). They were just big asteroids stuck together.

WILL BE CONTINUED

Re:You-niverse- the galaxy has limitless posibilities...

Green Cluster Galaxy

OOU: Good to be back (again)! I finally got Spore to work again, and so I'm coming back to its forums for good!

Time since last entry: 50 million years
Argon-6

The Tanks have dominated the seas of Argon-6. Their tough outer exoskeletons and insectine claw-legs allow them to occasionally venture out onto the rocky, dry and lifeless surface of their world. They feed on the small, fleshy Skips; a species that branched off of the same common ancestor as the Tanks. The Skips are smaller, less armored and legless. They are perfect prey for the Tanks. And yet, the Skips have developed something that Tanks do not possess: a primitive spinal column. This trait allows the Skips to move more smoothly and gracefully than their Tank cousins.
Tanks breed on land. When they have reached sexual maturity, they crawl onto the barren rocks of the surface world. Male Tanks perform rudimentary contests of strenght and fitness to decide who gets the best female. Once the contests are over, the fit males mate with the females, and both promptly die, leaving the unhealthy and uncapable out of the gene pool.
Skip mating is a little less conventional. Skips mass breed. They congregate in shallow waters and exchange genes with multiple mates. This has as many advantages as disadvantages. There is a higher likelihood of strange and dangerous mutation, but this also means quicker evolution and relatively larger numbers.
Skips filterfeed on algae cells on the ocean floor. This is where they spend most of their adult lives, except for mating season.

Quietus

Half of Quietus is dead. The tiny dwarf has baked one half of Quietus in infrared life, effectively killing off all multicellular life. But the dark side of the planet is an already developing ecosystem. The Lusterspines are small and quick quadrupedal reptiles who have a line of glowing quills running down their backs. These quills provide light not only for the Lusterspines weak eyes, but for other creatures as well. When the small mammalian Tunnelers draw close to a blinding light, the Lusterspines lash out and sink their venomous fangs into the Tunnelers' soft bodies, leaching lifeblood and water from the Tunnelers.

OOU: Hope that was enough for another post!

OOC: About that post on Page 6, I'll join. I have a good idea below.
IC: One of the universes had a special history. During the start of this universe, the gateway was at the very center of the explosion that started it all. This gave off countless discharges of electricity, and lots of star-making gas clumped together at the center, forming a galaxy. A few more discharges, and the whole universe split in two, along with the halves of the center galaxy.

On one half, the galactic core fused into a giant star by the electric pulses stirring the half-galaxy up. Slowly, the stars, planets and moons begun orbiting the giant star until the gravitational pull was too much, and the whole half-galaxy became fuel for the star, forming an even bigger star. Even the discharges went into the star, but this only made the star magnetic as it combined with an iron-rich planet, with a field spanning the whole half-universe. Soon, all iron-rich planets and iron-rich moons were attracted, strengthening the force of the massive star, and it slowly begn to rotate due to the remaining discharges, scooping up the entire half-galaxy with it's overwhelming gravity. The star had become the universe, and it's force as it stirred round and round at a high speed. The star universe was then propulsed by the spinning, thrusting it out of all existance. The star universe became a pocket reality.

As for the other half, the discharges made all iron-rich celestial bodies stick to the core of the half-galaxy, making it all into a giant star. Instad of scooping everything up, this star engulfed the entire half-galaxy. Slowly, it moved to the center of the half-universe by remaining electric pulses, which would then be engulfed in the big star, and soon, all the other stars began orbiting it, and then the star's planets, and then the planet's moons. This is similar to the LATU multiverse, but instead of a giant planet, it's a giant star. But one of the moons of a planet orbiting a star far from the large star began harboring life. And because it was a moon, when the planet, which is named Grheib, covers up the smaller star, a long eclipse would occur with the giant sun behind the planet, forming a harsh winter. The microbes on Jtifn, which is the name of the moon, have no eyes yet, and can't be blinded just yet.

IC: At this point, all the microbes on Jtifn are the same, extracting energy from the methane vents in the oceans that are only ever liquid during summer. Afterwards, the microbes hibernate until the next summer, when they can feed again. However, one of these cells began to accidentally and slowly digest another by touch. This became an evolutionary breakthrough as not only the first carnivore on this moon, but also the whole half-universe, as that microbe's descendants would become similar to amoebas, trapping their prey in the blob that is them. With this new food source, they no longer have to feed on methane vents.

On the first galaxy, the ancient beings dying conciousness took physical form. A microbe. The dying microbe had enough time to reproduce itself and life was born. The life spread on one planet.
Re:You-niverse- the galaxy has limitless posibilities...

Ok let's get the first race started.

The first galaxy (that will be it's actual name) was at the centre of the universe and was three times the size of the spore galaxy and had double the arms. On the out skirts of the galaxy, a meteor crashed. The planet it crashed on was three times the size of 'Earth'. A single microbe emerged from this meteor and began to multiply. After a million years, one cell changed. It's flagella grew and it developed a mouth. A carnivore. The cell reproduced and within another year, they where the top of the food chain. Other cells soon grew combat abilities so the carnivore evolved. They grew fins. Fins with claws at the tips. They also began to excrete a sort of poisonus substance. Then one day two rival cells, Kriskie, joined together. Then more joined them, and more, and more. They took on a shape and smoothed their skin. But they where still the size of an earth ant.
OOC: Glad to see another active poster.
IC: One time, one of the bacteria that was clustered up mutated. Another bacteria was attached to it, like a siamese twin. Regardless, this mutant bacteria survived, and soon, a large, naturally clustered species was born. It had a large suction cup at the bottom, and it otherwise looked like algae. A plant. It would be called a Hidrenx. It spread it's egg sacks to make some children. But the Rothunds, too, have mutated. Their amoeba-like structure allowed them to stick together, and within a few hundred thousand years, a herbivore was born, and reproduced. These creatures were just blobs, and whatever Hidrenx they touched would be eaten, it's chemical compounds which would be absorbed. But this moon won't let it's lifeforms stop there at evolutionary progress. Jtfin's freeze dosen't seem to affect the plants, they have strong bodies allowing to not be crippled under the ice's pressure. Same goes for the herbivores.

After thousands of years swimming near the surface, the carnivore had spread from from seven to seven thousand. The Kriskir had also spread uncontrollably. The two where still vicious rivals and needed to change to conquer the other and this time it was the Carnivore who evolved first. Their smooth bodies grew two lumps. The lumps stretched into arms. The arms grew hands. The hands grew fingers and the fingers grew talons. That wasn't their only change however, they had developed spiked tails and highly developed eyes. The carnivore looked at the Kriskie for the first time, having only smelt them before. A Carnivore reached down to a larger Kriskie. He picked up the cephalopod and realised how much smaller they where. Kriskie, the size of ants and Carnivore, the size of sparrows. After the Carnivore was done observing, it ate the Kriskie. The other Kriskie retreated upwards and evolved lungs. They squirmed up to the land and breathed for the first time. Carnivore where the new kings of the sea.

In a distant galaxy, the planet moved again. It groaned and massive blue tendrils reached out and wrapped around it's many moons. After a thousand years in this state, a meteor landed on the planet and life sprang up.

OCC: hi everyone, I'm going to go unconventionally in the next few posts so don't be suprised if things don't add up:) oh and I like what your doing Chantal

OOC: Thank you.
IC: With time, some Rothunds began to stretch out four tendril-like strands commonly, stretched out most of the time to grab Hidrenxes, except when digesting, when the strands are dragged in. These Rothunds, having evolved a new feeding method, will become the bigger Fathunds, creatures with strands thicker than their ancestor's, so they don't have to pull in their meal to eat it. But, some have begun to feel the ocean's bottom, rocks and Hidrenxes, leading to a sense of touch. But the Hidrenxes are slowly adapting...

Meanwhile, orbiting a yellow star, there is liquid water in an underground cavern on a planet known as Roob-Hald. On the surface, the star it orbits and the giant star the entire half-galaxy revolves around makes it always daytime, overheating the planet and making it unsuitable for life. However, in this underground cavern, the temperature is just right for life to form. And it does. A tiny microbe. And as usual, it multiplies, until there's an entire ecosystem. This time, these early lifeforms eat the limestone walls that surround the tiny underground lake. Eventually, they will access other small lakes, and maybe even the harsh surface, the latter of which would spell doom for the lifeforms... If they don't spread far enough.

The Carnivore, had changed. They had banded into groups who began to build. The sea had developed ecosystems of predator creatures and prey creatures. Some massive others pathetically small. The Carnivore had found massive skeletons and used sea weed or algiae to make tribes. They used skulls for food stores and the rib cages for the main tribe. They even used glowing plants to make lights. However, their biggest achievement was their mining activity. Only a few tribes did this though. They used bones to dig cave systems below their homes to mine out stone and other minerals. Some mines streached over a hundred feet down and across. The tribes never went against each other. They offered each other gifts and food but never hurt each other. A truly united race. They where still advancing. They began using more conventional resources like wood from the towering sea trees and iron iron they smelted in the blue sea fires of the valour caves. They where developing towering towns that climbed the sea pillars and learning more about science and the universe. Meanwhile, on land, the Kriskie had build a single massive city. They had createdboats that they used to observe their ancestral enemies. The boats whet sunk by the Carnivore with their iron submarines. The two lived in a peaceful state but that was soon to change.

In a distant galaxy, the planet was enhancing the life that lived on it. It evolved them into warriors and controlled them with it's powerful mind. It found a particular species and evolved them into living starships. The space creatures carried lesser minions of the planet and flew them between the stars of their galaxy. Each minion carried a cell from the living planets body and grew another body that turned the planet into a hive mind race. Each body alive and growing into planet infesting squid like creatures that dug into planets and gave birth to minions. The hive named itself... The BEAST horde.

The Kriskie had physically developed. They where tall and walked on eight tentacles. They used another four like arms. They also developed technologically. They build submarines and boats. They created a single towering metropolis where the whole population lived. All three billion. The city was walled and armed with massive turrets and cannons and an assortment of tanks. Their harbour was highly productive, making two ships per second. However the Carnivore had changed. Their diet changed to plants and they grew legs. Their fingers lengthened and their tails smoothed over. Their limbs where oddly long and their fingers intensely accurate. They could no longer be called carnivore, as they wearn't, they whet herbivores but that didn't sound right. They became the Fleesch. They build big cities across the sea bed and harvested the tunnels they had created. Boats and submarines where their weapon of choice. They armed them with missiles and machine guns. The Fleesch realised they couldn't swim in their sea forever so began work on air breathing suits. They had reached civilisation.

IC: The Hidrenxes are still able to move, and some grow a small moving appendage like a tail to swim away. Thing is, they don't have any eyes, nor a moving system. That would be about to change, for some evolved small nerves. With generations, these nerves would develop into electroreception, to actually swim away from the Rothunds and Fathunds. These Xydrenxes are rare now, but their numbers are rising. However, the Fathunds, too, are changing. As one managed to eat a Xydrenx, somehow, a malfunction occured, and the Fathund gained the electroreceptive nerves. As it reproduces, it's descendants' bodies would look somewhat like a seal, they'd have four flippers, and a round head would appear, where the electroreception will take place. One small bump serves on these new creatures as an electroreceptive eye, and more nerves would form a tiny brain. While the "eye", the brain and a little bit of skin around the electroreceptive bump are solid, the rest of it's body will retain it's amoeba-like form. These are Icthunds, the new predators in the oceans.

On Roob-Hald, the bacterias have managed to reach another cave above their home cave, causing a temporary waterfall and when it's over, it'll just make the cave bigger. There is more limestone there than in these overeaten patches in the first underwater cave. However, some bacteria adapted to just plain old dirt, and whatever else is in the land on Roob-Hald. The others have adapted to air by surrounding themselves in a film of water. There, they form large masses, and in one case, a mass mutated into a new species. A multicellular one. It will be like a plant hanging from a limestone ceiling, some lying on the limestone-covered floor. Soon, they'll adapt to plain old dirt, like the regular bacteria. However, these bacteria let off gases on which the bacteria will breathe. True plants.

Remember the other half of the universe and it's massive star? It eventually exploded in a supernova, one so huge that the edges of the half-universe were touched, and so powerful that it burst the half-universe. Now in a deep void surrounding all the universes and omniverses, this half of the universe has been destroyed by the void's powers. This event has no turning back on. The half-universe has been destroyed. Forever.

The Fleesch and Kriskie had lived in peace for a thousand years. The Fleesch had developed air breathing apparatus and sea bed walkers. Hulking machines that walked on four fifty foot legs. They where armed with an assortment of torpedoes and lasers that attached to the head. A head that contained a bridge and aqua fighter hanger. The main body was composed of operator bunks, a mess hall, an armoury, the nuclear core, security decks and massive drill equipment. These walkers are used as military transport, drilling equipment or as early battleships. Only four of these mechanical monsters where made due to their expensiveness to construct and the lack of nuclear capabilities in Fleesch race. The Kriskie didnot have any massive machines, instead they build huge swarms of boats and aqua fighters that overwhelm their enimies. They built these in massive underground factories that opened out in the sea.

One fateful day, the Kriskie launched a swarm of aqua fighters at a bed-walker. The swarm was easily destroyed but the Kriskie declared war on the Fleesch after this. The Fleesch compiled all funds into war efforts and built another two bed-walkers, but these two had land walking capabilities. These took years to build, years that the Fleesch had to resist attacks during. Fifty Fleesch cities where reduced to fifteen. The Kriskie, however, could not survive under water so couldn't operate seiges, only quick strikes. Once the land walkers where finished, they instantly began a seige on the Kriskie metropolis. The bigger land walkers on one side and the bed-walkers covering the cities massive coast line. The siege lasted five years destroying farmland and bombarding the city Walls. Every time there was a breach, Fleesch land troops flooded in. The Kriskie barely scratched the walkers and slowly began to realise they had lost. They officially surrendered after five years of besiegement. The Fleesch built them a rocket and sent them out into the darkness.

Re:You-niverse- the galaxy has limitless posibilities...

IC: There are still Hidrenxes, and they have begun to take on forms more similar to aquatic plants on Earth. As an alternative to the vents' energy, these plants can now feed on starlight, for the big star always gives off heat, but in the eclipse-bearing winter, there's still warmth and light, but not enough to keep the water liquid. These Hidrenxes will take the role of the plants of this world. While they all move, most only move when attacked, but some move around like an animal would. Bypexes, Xydrenx descendants, are two-legged creatures that run off on the vents when they sense predators, while fish-like Hidrenx evolutions, or Piksaxes, have a few sensory barbs able to detect the slightest changes in water pressure, allowing to detect predators and swim away quickly. And the Icthunds, Fathunds and Rothunds are taking advantage. Icthunds are among the most abundant and successful herbivore hunters, all Fathunds are slowly inventing a new method to catch food by spreading out like nets and catching whatever passes by, using their strands to hang on, and Rothunds now float around, hoping to touch a plant to eat. But, some Icthunds stay just below the surface of the water to ambush their prey, but some kelp-like plants beat them there by reaching above, though they haven't moved much. As they leak out oxygen and other essential gases, they create an atmosphere the aliens can breathe, trapping more sunlight. Now, the water stays frozen in winter near the top only. Anyway, could the Ichtunds possibly venture out of the water? It could only happen in summer...

Back on Roob-Hald, most of the cave is full of the new plant-like creatures as the bacteria feed on the limestone, eventually revealing two more caverns of water. It's as if the bacteria are the excavators for the plants, yet the plants are making them run out of room to live. fortunately, some bacteria tasted the plants and began eating away at it a lot. A new species of bacterial grazer. The first on Roob-Hald. To counter, the plants are starting to grow back quickly. Now, the two species are even, and an aquatic grassland has been formed, and with the regular limestone-eating bacteria, it can expand.

After the war, the Fleesch had title dominance of the planet Fleetoptis. They had sent the Kriskie civilians off into space to start anew, off in a distant star system. The officials and militia had been enslaved by the Fleesch. With the planet under control, the Fleesch decided to explore the galaxy. They quickly realised they where the only space faring creatures in the galaxy. With free reign, they quickly colonised hundreds of systems. With more territory they quickly advanced technologically. They saw off into the universe and other galaxies. They saw other advanced races and saw threat. They built a barricade around their galaxy, one thousand systems dense on all sides. Invetween the galaxy arms, they launched planet sized space stations that doubled their territory. The 'wall' made a thick ring around the galaxy but left enough room for other races to evolve and prosper under their protection.

In a distant galaxy the beast horde was growing in power. It had plagued several different galaxies, obliterating all life in it's path. The massive squid like bodies fed on the nutrients their planets held and grew to reach other worlds. The universes greatest threat had become real at long last.

The Fleesch saw this. They feared. The horde had destroyed races greater then them. However it had taken them by suprise. The Fleesch prepared. They developed more defence systems. They created another space station. One that encircled a black hole and worked off it's unlimited supply of energy. The station used the energy to create a force feild around the whole galaxy.

IC: Answering last post's question, yes, Jtfin will have it's first lifeform to clamber on land. At this time, some plants will have ventured on land, and since there were no herbivores to threaten them, they didn't have to move and lost the ability to do so. The tentacles they'd use to move have become spines on land. But, an Icthund approaches a shore, and while retaining water, it ventures out of water for approximately 38 seconds. But, with time, generations of some Icthunds will allow them to retain more water and have hard pads at the bottoms of their strands, so that the primitive legs can be protected from the sheer dryness. They are Cralthunds, and are amphibious. They still stay in the water during the winter, though, to refill with water, but time will tell if that will remain that way.

On Roob-Hald, the bacteria cave system now has seven underwater caverns in it's reach. Some grazing bacteria accidentally ate each other, finding that they are another source of energy. The first carnivores. They will spark a long arms race for survival. Otherwise, mot much is happening in this underwater world shielded from extreme heat.

OCC: this is meant to be an extract from a Fleesch history book written by a Fleesch council member. So it will be first person.

The war.
I first heard of the galactic war when I was observing the construction of the new dreadnought, Activita. My secretary came to the observation platform and told me that the Kriskie had resurfaced and stuck. On their own, they where nothing but they had enticed the other fleeting races to join in the attack. Our empire was a ring around the galaxy and occupied a third of the territory. One of our smaller space stations was attacked first. It barely repelled the attack. But the result caused a council meeting. All thirteen of us gathered at the council tower and disscussed war plans. We concluded that we needed to put half our budget towards more battle fleets. The council adorned but on the way out, councillor Eshtaie approached me. She said we needed to prepare the empire vault. We didn't even know that device worked. She said she had six other councillors with her and she needed me so she could win the vote. I said I'd think about it.

The new fleets where dispatched to bombard various enemy homeworlds. All where sucessful. The enemy quickly recovered and launched an attack on our military stronghold, planet Miltax. I can see it now. The imposing skyline of barracks, the space shipyards dotting the sky, the cruisers lugging fleets of fighters across the planets various cities. We had engineered it so the whole planet was underwater below the stratosphere. The world used its shipyard satellites to make a protective orb around itself and was completely unscathed. A minor victory compared to the massive loss yet to come.

Somethings a homeworld was obliterated, but it was clear to the Fleesch, the enemy werent pushing with all their might. When they did, it struck the Fleesch to the core. The galactic shield had held unscathed to the Beast attacks over the years. I remember the day it fell. The station transmitting it was deep within our territory. It was well protected until a massive siege was launched. 200 individual enemy fleets where dispatched to the station. They charged through our colonys, leaving destruction in it's wake. They reached the station and surrounded it. Flagships, battleships, frigates. Everything in a neat band around the planet sized behemoth. Massive missiles and proton lasers where fired either way. Ships fell like flys but each one that fell was quickly replaced. Supplys wore thin. Our supply fleets couldn't reach the station due to the firepower of the enemy. Two years in this state. The station eventually fell and the sheild was destroyed. The Beast swarmed in.

The council gathered after the loss. We voted and decided to use the empire vault. A device that teleported the entire empire. Colonys, planets, space stations. Even stars. The pinnacle of our knowledge at that time. It required all our hand prints. All where given. The entire empire was teleported to a small galaxy at the edge of the known universe. As far from the beast possible. We had survived but had lost the war. And our morale.

The Kriskie had won! The enemy had vanished. They had left the galaxy, replacing themselves with blank space. The only flaw was that the alliance was no longer needed. The other empires drifted off on their own. Some attempted to make intergalactic cruisers. They had no idea of the monster approaching. It reached the light of the first galaxy and infested a single planet. The planet became a single Beast squid. The squid used it's tendrils to wrap around the other planets of that system. It drew them into itself and devoured them. None contained life. The blue and black behemouth grew eyes and saw the star. It moved itself towards it and devoured the star too. It's mouth was the exact same size as the star. It tendrils, the bigger ones, just as thick. The smaller ones half that size. They reached out, the length of earths sun to Pluto. The main body, streamlined and thick, was that same length. It's eyes where the size of planets. The energy from the star caused it to grow to that size. It streached it's tentacles and blinked it's eyes. It's thick hide was strong enough to with stand a planet buster and a half. Within the main body was a network of passages that held growth and breeding chambers for the smaller children of the beast. At it's core was a brain that held all the knowledge of the beast and had a direct link to the main consiousness. It roared for the first time. A deep, hollow sound that would chill other creatures to their core. The sound could be heard for a hundred lightyears around. Space races where arrogant and assumed it was just a spaciel annomloy.

The massive squid was named by the hive core. It was called a Domenestra. It's round mouth opened, revealing billions of teeth, the size of everest. It had a stomach that could digest any kind of atoms or particles. It had devoured a star without even a second glance. It used it's gargantuan digestive system to turn the star into other beast minions. It opened huge gills that allowed it to survive in space and worked as a hanger for space beast's that where the size of star cruisers. This gargantuan beast was nigh unbeatable. It would swim through space, devouring anything in it's path. But, like the other beast creatures and the hive itself, it wasnt malicious, it was peaceful. Other creatures attacked it first. It had become mildly aggressive, due to various onslaughts from other races. It wanted revenge. Revenge on the whole of existance. Well, not quite. The Fleesch had tried to protect the weak and the strong. They where noble. The beast admired them. It would leave them to their own devices while it consumed everything else.

OOC: I was too busy playing Spore to reply recently.
IC: With time, massive forests have formed on Jtfin, and with the atmosphere formed by their exhaling of oxygen, the planet maintains earthlike temperatures, with relatively mild winters and slightly cold summers. The Cralthunds have evolved, adapted, and diversified. Simthunds have adapted a curly part at the end of their limbs to swing in the trees and eat the branches while Casthunds have strong digestive enzymes, so that they can eat down an entire tree and Buthunds eat away the skin of the trees. But one species is particularily special. The Asthund starts off as a small, beetle-like creatures and wait for something to accidentally get their gelatinous parts on it, then the Asthund takes control of the victim's mind. It can now digest what the victim ate, then looks for something to touch on the gelatinous parts. Eventually, these infected bodies can blanket a large part of forest, forming clearances, then it splits itself into many parts, giving birth. Fortunately, other species have even more offspring than the thousand an Asthund gives birth to in it's own suicidal way. Plus, the plants grow and reproduce quickly, with most species having just under a million seeds. This is an abundant ecosystem where it's easy to see signs of life.

Roob-Hald's massive life-harboring cave system now circles around an eighteenth of the planet and goes down a mile than when last checked at the most. The ecosystem here is similar to that of Africa, but more primitive and at a much smaller scale. The species at the highest point of the flooded caves have slight heat resistance in response to the added heat there. No other biological advances yet, they'll come when the cave system's boundaries gets closer and closer to the surfcae.

This is supposed to be a mission log from the black box of the Kriskie battleship, Estange.

Mission: Territorial patrol.
Fleet commander: Admiral X'Eesha
Mission outcome: Fleet lost
No survivors

When the fleet exited hyperspace in the Coltrix system, we found the system gone. We checked our coordinates. No mistake, the whole system was gone. Planets, colonies, even the star, all gone. We checked for teleport exchange. None. Every thing went suddenly cold, not from fear though, the power had gone. The whole crew activated light spheres. Then we saw it. Out in the distance, it looked like a massive cruiser, almost twice the width of the star and three times the length of the farthest planet to the star. It moved closer towards us and turned so it faced the fleet horizontally. The front opened into a million gargantuan tentacles, a third of the whole things length. Massive, gill like holes opened along it's side, revealing the hordes of cruiser size creatures, waiting within. The scaly bodies emerged, moving like earth dolphins. Hundreds of them, thousands. They approached the fleet. We saw their mouths open. Billions of tiny, fighter size creatures spilt out. The admiral ordered all cruisers to engage. Out missiles and lasers fired. They did nothing. The power returned and we released all our firepower, to no effect. The fighter creatures moved with unbelievable speed, attaching themselves to the hulls of our ships, they used their four legs to claw their way inside. The air was sucked out. We ran for our hasmat suits. Only a dozen made it before they where devoured. Then they to, where eaten. The massive beast turned towards the fleet, mouth first. It sucked us in. The admirals last action was to jettison then black box. The whole fleet, ships, personal, even fuel was eaten by the monster. The black box flew to the nearest colony as a warning, but only held the above information.
And one phrase

"Beast rising."

Another Kriskie fleet picked up the black box. It was led my prince Jarrb, fourth in line to the Kriskie throne. His fleet of twelve ships where stationed above planet Karlesh, homeworld of the Floortin race. Little did they know, the planet would soon be destroyed. The box flew into the ships hanger and into the tenticles of a simple engineer. He ran up to the bridge, as he was supposed to.
"Your highness! We have found a black box in the hanger!" the engineer cried
"From what fleet?" Jarrb asked uninterested
"Admiral X'Eesha's fleet sir."
"You highness, we have picked something up on our sensors." the crewman interrupted "Ow, hell! It's massive!"
"What is it?!" Jarrb was impatient "A ship?"
"We're picking up life signs... oh man, the whole things alive! It's speeding up." the crewman was panicking madly "It's coming into view."
Jarrb walked to the bridge windows. He saw it. A creature the size of a star cruiser. It looked like a manta ray but streatched long with a squids mouth. It's bright blue hide glinted in the sunlight.
"Is that it?" Jarrb asked the crewman
"It, it must be. Wait, no, the main thing is behind it." both where confused until they realised that what they thought was space, was an eye. A single, massive eye. The small creature moved towards them and sicked up a horde of small, fighter like, creatures.
"Escape pods!" Jarrb cried and the whole crew ran to escape. A red siren sounded and panic rose. The windows exploded inwards as dozens of the fighter creatures crashed in. They looked like massive, skeletal ravens. Their blue skin glowed and dripped a shining blue liquid. They had scales instead of feathers and jaws instead of beaks. Their blue eyes gave off a deep blue light. Their strong legs where twice the size of an normal birds and their wings looked more like fins. One leapt at a crewman and ate him whole. Jarrb put the bridge under lock down and ran for the escape pods.

OOC: Sorry if this post is shorter than usual, but I was short on time.
IC: Far from the forests, in the oceans of Jtfin, the Xydrenxes have begun developing more. The electricity has somehow clustered like neurons, and with time would give rise to a new species, the Audrenxes. This species is still as smart as the average mammal, but it's enough to outwit predators from chasing them, and they may become sapient soon. It is even more uncertain if they'll make it on to land, but it's not important to.

Meanwhile, on Roob-Hald, the caves are rising closer and closer to the surface and are encircling a twelfth of the globe. Some of the plants there evolved to draw their energy from dead organic matter by sucking the matter in like a sponge. Now, life can exist within the open spaces where there's no limestone left for the plants to feed off in this vast and complex cave system.

Prince Jarrb's escape pod landed on the moon of planet Karlesh. The moon sustained much life and would make a safe haven for Jarrb and his crew. The pod hit the green rock, about fifty clicks from the Kriskie out post. The small mining colony was hone to twenty Kriskie engineers and five Kriskie commando units. It took the shape of four floating spheres and a massive plasma drill. The outpost had no long-range sensors so had no idea of the horror approaching.

Prince Jarrb had landed with a crew of four. They where the only pod to escape the raven spourn. A Kriskie command fleet, destroyed with only five survivors. Jarrb looked to the sky and saw the massive Dominestra turn and leave. The miners would have no clue that it had been there. The behemoth moved away, using its gigantic tentacles to propel itself. It was weird, looking at something the size of a star system, moving into the darkness. The colony was on the other side of the moon facing the planet. Jarrb and his crew started running. They didnt notice the blue flesh fall to the moons surface.

Prince Jarrb came across a scout rover on his journey. The unmanned veichal was fitted with various sensory devices and instantly recognised the prince. The buggy like machine opened up it's back to reveal six chairs. The survivors clambered aboard. It only took twelve minutes to reach the colony. They where beamed up into the command sphere and greeted by the commandos. Jarrb told them about the Dominestra and the other spourn. They all looked bewildered.

Meanwhile, across the planet, the blue flesh grew. It burrowed several tendrils into the moons surface and began to excrete a blue liquid, similar to that on the raven spourn. The liquid solidified and grew into more flesh. A thick blue fog surrounded the flesh as it began to create life. Tiny, bug like creatures started to crawl around the flesh. They where blue, with beep purple eyes. Twelve legs supported the small body. The legs ended in sharp, spiked claws. Millions of the spider spourn where seeded. The spiders also created the blue liquid so that the beast hive followed in their wake. A level 1 infection. Level 2 meant that human sized spourn began to live. Level 3 made space born creatures. Level 4 signified a manta cruiser. Level 5 was a planet sized ball of beast flesh. The Dominestra was a level 6.

IC: With time, the Audrenxes have learned to hold their appendages as a way to associate them with each other and flee together, not to mention cooperate special predator escape tactics. This a sign of intelligence. As for out of the waters of Jtfin, the planet's atmosphere is continuing to add to the heat of the planet, and many areas of the planet have become swamps due to the flood of once frozen waters. The ocnditions on this moon are much better now, like those on Earth, only the winters are a little harsher.

On Roob-Hald, the massive cave is now encircling a ninth of the planet. The caves are flourishing with life, but not for long, for the cave is now only about a few thousand feet from the surface, and the water near the top of the cave has turned to mist, providing living space for new creatures. Not surprisingly, life has risen to the challenge, and the herbivorous microbes here have a helium-filled sac to stay away from predators and feed on the plants that take root at the ever-growing ceiling of the cave. For now, life exists, but that may change soon.

Story 1: The Hypergiant Galaxy

There are many galaxies in the universe, but I shall focus on one galaxy for now.

Hypergiant Galaxy
The Hypergiant Galaxy is one of the biggest galaxies out there, spanning a shocking 1,300,200 light years in size.
In the Icariunis Arm, there was one solar system with a small star known as Eponys Minoris (Eh-pone-is Mine-or-is)

Orbiting Eponys Minoris, was an Earth-sized planet called Thera (Th-air-ah). It had small pools of water, and it was starting to be come habitable. It was almost complete, except... something was missing. Life. Where was the flora? The huge trees, the grass, and everything else? Where was the fauna? The fish, the predators, the insects, the birds, and everything else? That question could be answered, but only on a microscopic level at the current time.

Energy Type A1: Sorpen
Sorpen, the first attempt at life. Sorpen is a small little pocket of energy which had the building blocks of life.
Sorpen could sense other Sorpen and would consume it, making it grow bigger. The biggest Sorpen could get was 1/20th of an ant. Sorpen could also reproduce by splitting into four Sorpen. In about a thousand years, there will be about 30 billion Sorpen alive, due to the fact that they can live as long as a million years.
