Of course any challenge will be inspiring to some and boring to others, but I'm guessing Pi Day will get an above average response in numbers of participants compared to most challenges.

If you read the original post. OP for short. You will see that all you need to do is tag it with mcpichallenge.

under the help section there are posts showing how to upload your creations.

simply put [url= insert the web address of your creation ][img] the image location, which you can find under properties of your creations picture on the site [/ img][url] note that there is no space between the / and img, just have to do it for the example

that creates a picture you can click to go to your creation.
the general idea is [url]web address[/url] [img] image location [/ img] works for pretty much any other set of commands

Yesterday when i was at work, i checked the voting scores at 9:30am and again at 10:30am (Australian time) on my mobile phone so that i could see how my Pi creation was going... (Thank you everybody that has voted for me )...
But you can imagine the surprised look on my face when i seen that your creation jumped from 1 vote to an amazing 15 votes in less then 1 hour ...

I should point out that it's not the first time its happened, he recently pulled out of a contest because apparently there was "something wrong with the voting poll" where he got 7 votes in less then half hour of the poll going up and he thought he would "do the right thing" and withdrawal from the contest....
It just takes the excitement out of winning a contest and its not fair on anybody else .

Don't know about any cheating. both techno and comtek (moreso comtek) got more votes after I mentioned this Pole was up in the BBS thread in Creator Corner. But that is expected since there are BBS people in the finals and of course the others in that will vote for the people they know.

besides, comtek has a feature already from his CRS ship. Not worth the effort in my opinion.

I try to be unbiassed in my voting and vote for the best creation, or my fave. When it comes to Maxis ones I tend to vote for lesser creators though to give them a chance to be a featured - rarely works, though i did vote for cody in this. In my own contests, I do what maxis does and create a shortlist. Although I do limit the shortlist to ten.

(that being that the Maxoid's choose) While I have nothing against them, I think that they would end up being biased as well.

If they really wanted to, they could go through the trouble and set up the polls so that they would be as annonymous as possible, with nobody knowing the creator's name without considerable snooping.

I don't see how they would be biased...I don't agree with you about that at all.

It's not hard to figure it who's creation belongs to who. Creators have their own style. I could pick out the creations by techno, Vektrix, cody, Chaos, Rantalia and a ton of other creators without looking at their names.

In case you hadn't noticed, that was satire. I don't actually think you're a red. I do, however think your point is invalid. Corrolation does not neccicarily mean causation. They're not winning because they're popular, they're winning for the same reason that they're popular. Namely, because of awesome creations.
