I'll buy an expansion for a game I play, or a game I no longer play if the expansion will encourage me to resume playing. Sadly Spore+Parts Pack is currently not in this group.
If the parts pack actually contains additional gameplay element, then it could end up in that group. Have to wait and see once the packs official content is made public.

Not true, there are some Mac viruses. They are generally not very widespread and none that I've heard of have any malicious payload, but they are there. As more and more people take up Macs, more viruses will be created for them as they'll become a worthwhile target. I mean, currently, who wants to write a virus to annoy the 2 dozen Mac owners in the world

Thats not accurate. A multithreaded application that uses multiple cores can run within a single process, for example mssql server.
Primadog said the processors tab which doesn't exist under Vista or XP task manager. Rather than the processes tab that show individual processes running on the system, I think primadog might mean the performance tab of the task manager, that shows CPU usage for each individual processor. If you have a multi core CPU, you should see a CPU graph for each processor and can tell how much each is working. If an application supports multiple cores, you should see large activity of more than one graph. HINT: Change the setting under CPU History in the View menu if you have a mutli core CPU, but only see one history graph.

Also, I enjoy cake.
That is clearly off-topic.
And besides, I have read that some biologists classify certain species of squid as having attained what might be considered as, in some sense, true flight, in that they can eject water whilst airborne, thus apparently providing lift (literal jet propulsion); combined with the ability to direct their motion by changing the position of their tentacles, they have displayed an impressive degree of aerial control, and can glide for 150 feet or more.
Now if they could cut themselves into rings, cover themselves in salt and pepper, and put themselves in the oven on 220 Celcius for 20 mins, that would be great

How are you sure the DRM did it and it was not the game itself? While the game is meant to be good and fun, it is not perfect by far and I would not doubt there may be some bugs that are showing up for players on certain pc configs / drivers.
well everything was fine befor the patch after it my planets where fuckedup *color and other glitshes* the sound now lags, and the cities dont show up. there is other minor things but thies are the ones that pisss me of!!!!
but what does that have to do with DRM? DRM while can be the cause (any software on your system that could be running as well can be the cause for that matter inlcuding drivers) - it is more likely something else wrong with the game code/patch update. DRM was not the update, other game related stuff was added to the game (70 scripts for example) while im not a expert game programmer, I am a web developer PHP and ASP.NET and can tell ya part of development is expecting that nothing will always work perfectly as planned. "Expect the Unexpected"
Does not really sound like DRM at all.
dreadlordsyn's original comment was clearly about the patch, which is the thread subject. There was no quoted post in dreadlordsyn's comments so it can be assumed that the post is regarding the thread topic and not a sub discussion.

Fantastic news with this change. I don't see one galaxy being a problem at all, as long as creature ownership and achievements are linked to individual screen names.
delvine wrote:is ther a way 4 all my acheivements 2 be relocked so i can open them again
This is of interest to me also. I'd like to add other screen names for family member when it's available, but I think they would want to have their achievements all locked to begin with, a fresh start for each screen name so to speak. Just showing interest in this sort of feature so hopefully it will be an option once the achievement part of this change is implemented.
