meaning say you were starting spore you could click the options or a custom button to switch to multiplayer from there you an either switch back or change server etc

Of course This is just an idea which is probably near impossible but think of the possibilities!

there would be servers, each server is a universe in which there is multiple planets each planet is hosted by a person who can choose when to start then it will start from cell stage when everyone has to eat enough meat to evolve creature stage would be ally or kill, if you ally the server would send a signal back to your nest to not har this creature unless attacked , if you wage war it would be a territorial nest if neutral it would be a weary nest. tribe would work same but if you are being attempted to ally you could choose which instrument (dependant on your collection) you want them to play. civ,your ally will help you either ally someone again or help you kill everyone the last people standing will become space faring empires planet buster and terraforming will be disabled etc, you then can discover other tribes, civilisations, or space empires you cannot kill a lower species than you unless the hosts of the planets all vote on it. thats all i have thought of right now...
