Sure thing Doc, 9 points to registry errors. Best of luck...
A couple of problems I have seen with this, lets have some constructive help please... First of all, ensure you are installing the content as it is advised in the FAQ section of the help forum. Also, sometimes the shortcut does not properly update and will need to be manually edited to direct to the correct executable for GA. Use the FAQ section to manually uninstall and reinstall in the order advised will hopefully resolve the issue. (some of the links are outdated, enter the query IE: Manually Uninstall Spore into the search interface provided and it will populate.) I hope this helps you resolve the issue, if not listing the order in which you installed the expansions may help as well.

Post Script: Depending on OS, you may need to ensure Spore is loading as administrator to allow for patching.
Did not mean to do that, was mmm 3 am here at the time. No offense DOGC_Kyle
Yes, that is a normal space stage screen. The tan circle is your maximum flight range, the green one looks like a mission radius ring, white should be controlled territory, and the red and purple, look like known races. I personally do not use that interface and keep most of the buttons off unless i need the information for something. But, yes that is normal. mmm send me a private message in regard to DA Origins and I'll help you sort that out.

Addendum: My wife 'Tamha' Just pointed out that I was partly inaccurate. The three smaller colored rings: Green, Purple and Red each correspond to your active missions in the upper left hand corner.
Might I inquire what the actual problem is?
The password is probably correct, however the user-name will not work, need to enter the actual e-mail... I assume all of this has been done, but never hurts to ask.
Yeah probably, a nice thanks i have it fixed meh was on the first page.
Hey Grox, don't worry about it, it is simply a forum posting etiquette if someone is over-reacting to that then they need to get a hobby.
When you re-installed did you by chance get C&C from EADM? If so, the registration from EADM doesn't work, also once you have installed from EADM it is ... challenging to revert to the box installation for the C&C tried for my wife, to no avail. Should harass them about that again in the near future. if not, ensure all of your installations are registering properly in game if they have not register them. Also reformatting will take up one of your installation instances and you may need to de-authorize to validate the registration.
As was previously stated, try loading the captain in the space stage and running through one of the adventures there to see if it fixes the bug. As for an adventure in half an hour... heh that's really fast, takes me weeks to make all of the stuff and assemble a decent adventure.
I set the app to always run admin as Vista or newer OS' have a tendency to be a royal pain for the authority to download from the spore server for some reason. won't allow for an always accept... I HATE that pop-up. Anyway... I assume you have repeatedly verified your login and password were accurately input. Nothing much to lose in reinstalling really at this point. so here is the link to the procedures so you don't lose any of your creations. http://forum.spore.com/jforum/posts/list/8966.page What the heck right? You have done everything I can think of off the top of my head.
erm, looked at the specs nice machine... umm you didn't put 2 x 2 gig ram sticks in there with 2 4 gig sticks did you? Please say no... for the love of all that is holy. Your processor cannot really utilize more than the 8 it came with.

As for the comment about 12 gigs not being much ram, yeah if you are running a MMO server maybe.

Alternately, running 3 4 gig sticks will cause issues like what you are describing as well. Not dissimilar to the much dated I/O sequencing... the conflict will come from pairing, the only time this is not an issue is when you are running a single stick. IE 1, 2, 4 slots filled with identical sticks. I'll watch this thread to see how things turn out for you and will be happy to offer any further help you may require.
following the installation guidelines in the FAQ will render the best results. Please read the FAQ to limit the number of repeated answers. http://forum.spore.com/jforum/posts/list/8966.page the uninstall and re-install guidelines listed here and on the connecting links should allow for full functionality.

Alternately, installing all of the products in their respective order off-line then allowing the auto-patcher to run when you login for the first time on the installation would probably be the simpler answer.
Should you encounter issues you can follow the manual uninstall and re-install procedures which will help to preserve your creation data. As far as I know C&C from EADM is still not functioning for on-line use. However a box installation works fine, there is an issue with the EADM registration which they have said is being worked on. Here is a link to the re-install guidelines:

Spore commonly does the auto log-out thing, though for me it simply has me log back in when accessing content. The Admin access has been attempted as was noted from the first post. What game resources are you working with? just the main game or the main game plus some of or all of the additional content? (Noting that in my case when Galactic Adventures was installed, the run program did not automatically update and I had to manually redirect the shortcut to the proper sporeapp.) You can log-in here fine, so I do not assume it is a case sensitive issue, perhaps if you used non-standard characters in your password. Just some possibilities... Really need a little more information. Particularly the expansions information... also if the game was purchased on-line or a box copy.

Oh, and Pvjin, watch your mouth....
