I just posted a video on Youtube on how to get to Earth in Spore. I had an urge to write (or should I say type) a history of Earth in my Empire's perspective. Here is the story I typed, hope you enjoy:

HISTORY: The Earthlings, or "Humans" lived here at one time. We know this from the archeologists of our modern galaxy. They were digging on Mars and found a library of observations of the humans. Although some of the books were torn, they were still translatable. It seems the Martians, or "Greys" once monitored the humans through their disc shaped spaceships. They tried contacting the humans, only to find out that the humans feared them for some strange reason. Another thing that was written in the Martians library was that the humans sent small robots to their planet, Mars. This proves that the humans were getting close to space travel, but not close enough. Our scientists wondered why the humans weren't space travelling, but later found the reason. In one of the Martian books, it says "The humans seem intelligent enough to begin spacetravel, but it seems they never will be able to unless they can stop fighting with each other." Today on Earth, we have found an extremely large amount of carbon dioxide, which shows that the humans were using fossil fuels, but that the fuels were overused. Another page of a Martian book says "On the month of January, day 24 and year 3823 of the Earthling calander, the humans began global warfare." A few months later: "The humans from Carsisca have bombed Gorikso. This seems to have created a chain reaction because Reask was allied with Gorisko. All the cities of Earth have been destroyed. There is no longer a reason to monitor Earth." That was their final writing.

That was it. Tell me how I did and if you liked it! Also I am sorry if it doesn't belong in the Spore General Discussion area.

EDIT: Here is an alternate ending for those who don't like hearing warfare will end us and please dont argue about what will end us because its just a story PLEASE dont. It starts after "sent small robots to their planet, Mars."

Martians also wrote "Month: February Day: 28 Year: 3823. The humans have learned quick and easy space travel, and they have come to visit us. They are a friendly civilization (empire now) and we believe we will become allies. Month: April Day: 12 Year: (WHOLE NEW TIME PERIOD) 2468. It has been billions of years since Earth began space travel. Unfortunately, our race is slowly becoming extinct, and this also seems to be true with the humans. To make it worse, strange half robot half creature things began to attack Earth and Mars. We wanted to form an alliance, but they would not listen. Oh no! I believe they are coming now! I hear their ships! Their lasers are firing! I must evacuate, but I will bring this journal with me." After many years pass, the martians write "I haven't written in so long. We have evacuated with the humans to another planet, and the civilization here is peaceful. They tell us that the strange robot creatures attacked them, too. We have decided to leave this galaxy together. I believe one day those creatures will become extinct and we will finally return to Mars. I will leave the journal here on Mars, and one day I shall return. Goodbye for now." But they haven't returned yet, and our scientists believe the Martians and Earthlings are still out there in the universe, somewhere. Maybe one day we will find them, or they will return.

I might already have this patch. Is it the one that gives you cube planets? When I first got the game and connected to the internet it updated and it took long. Do i have it?

Why do we need another spore when the first is still being expanded on? I think the first will just continue to be expanded for as long as it wants...

Ok I was wondering...you know the two icons you have in Spore with "Core Spore" and "Exo-legs" or something(I think they are categories)? When you get the robotic parts form Dr. Pepper cans, does it give you another icon with robot parts in it? And have you noticed how there is extra room for more icons

? Or are the icons for something else?

Here's the problem: When I am playing the creature stage, everything works fine. But if I die, sometimes Spore will black out and close. It doesn't happen every time I die but once in a while. So if a hostile creature attacks me and I die, there is a chance that Spore will crash. It isn't the planet I am on either because when my cousin plays on his planet it does this too. I don't want to play Spore having to save all of the time because I am afraid it will crash.
