Interesting. I thought it was always a similar plan to creature creation.

Come on, I put a whole bunch of time and work into this post, at least 30 minutes!

Supposedly, the game is about evolution. It is about going through the stages of development of a species you create. The problem is, that while in the background there is science (Usually botched up and cartoon-ified by stupid suits at EA), The things that you do in the game are rather much like religious "theories".
You create the creature and guide it's development, you could totally change a creature from one generation to the next, which is a radical change that evolution could not support. You control a creature of your species in creature and cell stage as though as if it were a "Jesus" of the species. In tribe stage, you control a whole group of people, giving them orders, and it is not the actual chief of the tribe that tells everyone what to do, but rather, it is YOU, the god.
It is only in civilization stage that the actual god-like nature you posses in the game wears out. You could be a god, sure, especially if your cities are religious, but is it not far more likely that you are a civil leader, the president, or a military commander, or if you are economic, a business owner? In Space Stage, you are one chosen character again. But "God" did not chose the space captain, the society, or the president, or some person in the species would have.
I think it is a good metaphor for how technology and science fizzles out religion. With Spode worshipers, however, it is different. But not in a strong way. The Spode worshipers are crazy SPORE in space, not unlike Islamic countries who impose their religion on everyone. It is a "miracle" the Spode worshipers can even get into space, let alone interplanetary space.
It is funny that a game supposedly rooted in science has so much to do with religion in the early stages, the most important ones.

Rather than an empty bump, I remembered where the "riding the pony off a cliff" scene is that I thought of. It's in Samuri Champloo, where Mugen and his old rival bet to see who will ride closest to the edge of an escarpment.
I have new for them. Horses are not that stupid. And I used to ride puissance, so I know what their limits are.
.........
In other news, this is a really cool idea, but I would guess they would run into copyright and intellectual property issues.
Stranger things have happened, but I'm not waiting for anything to be done at this point.
like i said, the pony thing is just something i made up, because i thought it was funny

I would like my roast Spoffit, please.
There is a black hole near a star called "2XY Gamma 42" and near it is a Black Hole. go through it and you'll emerge in the Spore universe, then, contact a trader empire known as the Gregroxoid Empire. they will give you a 100% discount on Spoffit Roaster. the spoffits can be found on Maxis adventure planets.

Have you ever heard of Drawn To Life? If you haven't look it up, if you have, continue reading. In the game, you draw various objects so they become real. What if we could do this in spore? although, instead of drawing, we would use the editor. A goal would be to create object and you then click on the object to edit it. when you're done, you can exit and save, then what you made/modified would show up instead. you would be able to do a Spore Hero like thing where you upgrade a creature to be better, like the beauty and Beast thing from Spore Hero, where you make Beast scary again instead of cute and harmless. Heck, you could put a weapon upgrade on a spaceship, or, if you make rated T or M adventures, even give a creature bigger breasts! Or maybe your into the Borg? edit a creature to include bot parts to assimilate them. Show how The Grox got their implants. The possibilities, as confusing as it would be for adventure creators, are endless! you could set that an object has to have certain parts to save, like an assimilation adventure would require all or any of the Bot parts from Patch 6. Or you must use any all, or one of the carnivore parts because you want to make a fierce, meat eating beast!
