you mean the Sting sound effects in GA? Those are just little sounds that play when you get close to them in-game.

On topic: There's always the reinstall option if it comes to that. Some model might have gotten corrupted or something.

I'm ashamed to say that but there is some logic there. Terribly Flawed logic because they are not the best and even if something is the best it will rapidly become not the best, but some logic to that statement. Except that it should be applied to little things, not repetitive themes.

Depends on what Type of adventure I want to make. If I want a huge city I'll chose a flatter planet but If I want a more natural landscape I'll chose something like Elevation or that Mesa one. (I forgot the real names of most of the templates)

Jschwegman's adventures often have locked captains for story reasons. In my opinion, a locked captain is acceptable if it helps the story/playability of the adventure. Also, some adventures require good weapons or wings, and a lot of idiots will think that their lvl. five strike is a good weapon, so if you have a locked captain you can make sure that everyone can play the adventure.

Helium is lighter than air, so it floats up by displacing the air, just boats float by displacing the water.

If you have steam, you can register your copy of Spore there. Find the "register a product on Steam" tab and enter the serial key. You should then have Spore on Steam, without need of a disc.
