The only thing I can suggest is that you either download more adventures or delete the adventure that keeps coming up.

Unfortunately there's an annoying limit of 2 minutes. I recommend using a proper screen-recorder such as FRAPS if you want to record gameplay, plus you can also choose to record from the microphone as well as the speakers in case you want to commentate.

I originally got the trial version of the Creature Creator around June 2008, and I eventually joined the community in October 2008. Unfortunately I was using a patch I had downloaded that gave me some of the creature parts that were in the full version, but I wasn't able to upload them. My computer crashed about a month later, and I lost all of my creations (apart from one, named Fanphibian), and I have been playing the full Spore game since December 2008.

I also got Galactic Adventures in December 2009.

If you want really easy adventures, just search for "Clark and Stanley". Be aware though that many are poorly made and very short.

I myself have quite a few adventures, including a few Clark and Stanley adventures (don't worry, they aren't crappy). If you want to check my creations out just look at my Spore page.

If your lighting quality won't change then it may be because you're using an unsupported graphics card. I'm not sure about the texture quality though. Have you tried opening the cheat console in-game and entering: highResTextureLevel?

I've been having this problem for quite a while now, for some reason my game's FPS decrease from around 31 to around 24 whenever I increase my "Shadows" setting is increased to medium whilst everything else (apart from Depth of Field) is on high. I think this is pretty stupid, as I am capable of running Half Life 2 on high settings at about 16:9 screen ratio.

So far Spore is the only game on my laptop that doesn't run smoothly. I can run Skyrim quite smoothly too, even with the Texture detail on high.
