As you all might know soon number 40 will be released.

To celebrate this I want all of the players that played in the past and still playing this challenge, to post and link to their personal most favorite "creature" design.

This does NOT have to be a DNA creature (unless its really your personal favorite), also it does not have to be favorite by other people, just YOUR own creature (from creature phase till captain allowed) that you had most fun with in making and you personally like best of all " creatures " that you have created.

you can post it after reading this or post it along with the next assignment on Friday/Saturday.

Remember for those who are reading this, DO not use this opportunity to spam your designs in this topic, its meant only for those who played along, and yes if you are new to this and submit a DNA challenge design, then you are amongst those people who are allowed to post and link to their personal most favorite creature.

It means you can use any number. If a number is not specified you can use as many as you like as long as it is more than 0. I'll get my entry done next time I get onto Spore.

only when a joker card drops in a category, then you may choose to ignore it, otherwise you must add the given parts.

just want to clarify as the erh "host" that its exactly like that, so you may always use more of that part as long as its that part.

Only when a number DNA card drops you must place the given number, but then you are free in what kind of part(s) from the given parts category the number card is shown for

to new players, if you are a starting designer, just got spore? this challenge like many others are great things to get to know your creative possibilities, the difference between a challenge like this and a contest is that there is no pressure to try to be the best, cause in the DNA challenge you all ready are

Its fun to see that people who play in this challenge, get their DNA design greened or at least a blue face

and that's simply great! cause notice the creators are bound to a set of required parts to use each assignment.

Are you an unnoticed creator or haven't got much creations with a green or at least blue smiley face? perhaps you should try your best following the DNA challenge's assignments, its just noticeable how much players in this get thumbs up on DNA challenge creatures.

But always keep in mind this is a free "having fun" challenge and no competition, and though I see many people get thumb upped creatures, it's no guarantee for 100%, but worth a try at least

for new players, simple see the first post on the first page, read that post completely or use the quicklinks to read the rules, also you could ask questions about it on this topic.

Well let me clarify on this:

First I wanted to start by saying why I picked odDballL's DNA machine for this adventure challenge template and not the others that were made by Bbeast and clixe (and who ever is still making 1)

The problem is that I wanted to make a quick adventure, and the DNA machines though also very cool, that were made by bbeast and clixe had a red complexity meter and thus cannot be used as an object in the adventure editor.
(trust me if i say i wanted to make 1 big machine from all 3 the designs, but I did not want to re-edit originals!)

So I do not want to pick a fight with clixe or bbeast here, and I don't have too, cause here is the thing:

The only thing, as described in the adventure, is to leave the DNA machine by odDballL and the Alian helix building.
you may place them any way you like just as long as those 2 are included in your adventure. So that means Bbeast and clixe could add their DNA machine to it, or use the template to also show of their other creations.

And that counts for everyone, just amaze me, and others what you can come up with.

So I hope no hard feelings for picking odDballL's design as the basic machine in this template

I simply did not wanted to temper with the original designs.
