If you notice take the stick to your nest and mouse over near the centre an you get a cog symbol, if you click your creature dosnt throw it but places it carefully in a special postion - me thinks there is more to gathering things than just being mere projectiles. Each thing you 'place' at your nest is arranged in a strange circular patern.

Kinda more a question than tip....
Has any1 tried beastmaster abilty on an Epic. Only time i had the abilty my continent seemed devoid of any of them big orrible critters - but the thought of temporaily taming one and paying a visit to one of your least favorite neighbouring tribes does seem appealing.

Just wondering you may have noticed that every nest you come across in Creature mode has a little Y shaped stick lying near it.
I know you can pick it up and chuck it to stun things, but if you take it back to your camp mouse over your nest and you will see a strange little symbol (cog i think) and if you click you critter will carefully put it down in a particular place like in a circle around the nest.
Any1 tried stealing all the sticks (possible totems) and bringinging em back to nest. Seems like there is some sort of purpose to em other than impromptu projectiles...
Id try myself but my latest creation has no arms legs or eyes, and i cant seems to fetch them stickies in my mouth - bad fido

Where are the buttons for the music? How do there special ability?
There same place as creature socialise buttons, but instead of Sing, dance, charm and pose you get 3 different instruments.
Remember u need to have the whole mob (band and chief) selected before you click on the tribe you want to entertain - oh an be in social not aggressive mode - unless your a punk band

Same thing happened to me first time i made it to space stage, after evolving all the way from cell.....
Game really needs a restart level option imho.

Simple answer why they deleted the post.. E.A.
Look at Battle for Middle Earth, Black and White 2, and Battlefield 2, all were developed by 3rd parties but published by the MCDonalds of gaming E.A.
Each of these games had signiificant parts of the game droped by 'Evil Assembly' and you could see the code for these lost features still in the game. Code that was suprisingly used in the pay for addons.
E.A seems to like to mess up games and then make you pay for what we originally expected as add-ons.
imho.

Just a small epic trick i found in civ stage.....
If you have a religious city, make a pack of Holy vehicle (flyers are safer) fly over to an epic and 'attack' it, the attacks dont harm the epic but charm it... it will now follow those vehicles for a short time.. like long enough for you to lead it to one of your least favorite neigbouring civilisations, and watch it go godzilla on there little town.
Not sure if the fact i had the omnivore power beastmaster in tribal stage effect the ease with witch you charm those epics.

If you wonder why what we saw in 2005 got dumbed down, two words Electronic Arts...
Just have a look a LionHead game Black and White 2, same story great preview movies in the two year development then EA became the final publisher and did there usual game labotomy.
