You mean you lost the desktop shortcut? Just search for Spore.exe and make another shortcut to it. Or you could just run the .exe itself, but making another shortcut would be better.
Alternatively, reinstall the game from Origin or however you got it.

I have returned from a week-long school trip. It was a nice break, now I'm back to making things. To continue my South Apex Conglomerate faction:
South Apex Vanguard:
The Vanguard Class bomber-frigate was fielded during the ERF invasion of South Apex territory. Carrying several tons of explosives in its bottom compartment, the Vanguard Class was responsible for the destruction of many ERF ground divisions.
Despite the Machiavelli Super-Battleship nearly destroying the ERF fleet, the invading forces had established a powerful foothold on several outlying worlds near the South Apex border, which the Conglomerate was unable to break. These planets may have been lost, but a sudden disease, previously unknown to either faction, broke out on the planet Tzu. Both sides took heavy losses, but the SAC turned the crisis into a grim weapon. Vanguard Fleets attacking the ERF foothold planets would be accompanied by a special division of "Corpse Bombers", armed not with explosives but with dud bombs containing the diseased corpses collected from Tzu. These corpses were assumed to have died in the attack, and were ignored. This turned out to be a fatal mistake, as the disease quickly consumed the ERF foothold and forced a full retreat.
Tzu is still under quarantine, but the disease has since been eradicated from most other worlds.
South Apex Siege Engine:
The Siege Engine is a deadlier version of the Railgun Battlestation. It draws power from Dark Matter and focuses that power into a single cannon shot which is capable of vaporizing an entire fleet.
The Siege Engine was built after the ERF war as a defensive weapon to ward off future attacks. Speculation indicates that had it been developed beforehand, the ERF may have been wiped out entirely. Of course, the Engines are very expensive and having them sit around merely warding off enemies is something of a waste, so these powerful cannons are being repurposed into asteroid killers, vaporizing any space debris large enough to cause significant damage to a planet.

MaxxToron wrote:Hey guys. Your friendly neighborhood Toron here. So, I know I'm not a host in the SR, but I figured that i'd start a little weekly thing here to showcase some lesser-known creators. Each week I'll find one overlooked creator who has under a certain amount of subs (so as not to copy Jude) and showcase some of his creations here. (note; I'm doing this on my phone, so I can't make pics).
So, without further ado...
This week's Toron Unsung creator award is.... Hossboyz!!!
Number of subs: 0
Page: http://www.spore.com/view/myspore/Hossboyz
How does he have 0 subs? Crazy. His creations are pretty good, although in today's desolate spore world it's not entirely shocking that talent goes unnoticed.

Wow, that's very good. Really cool use of the Bonekneepads and other details. The coloring is also really good.
And thank you for the compliment, I have a silly amount of history regarding almost every major faction/race I design. Plenty more where that came from.

So no one knows how to fix my ingame sporepedia?
@MaxxToron: Pretty cool, I like the detailing.
SAS Machiavelli
The Machiavelli is a Harbinger Class Command Ship. It headed the New South Apex Armada against the inbound ERF fleet as the latter attempted to assimilate the SAC, who remained the only Human faction independent of the main governing body.
The ERF was overconfident following its easy victory over the weaker Acolyte Confederacy and lacked the support of the other Triumvate members. The invasion of South Apex Territory was a failure: The Railgun Battlestations were a complete suprise to the ERF, resulting in the destruction of many capital ships before the fleets could retreat out of range. The Modernized battleships, backed up by the aging Talnar Fleet, picked off the support frigates and cruisers, clearing a path for the Machiavelli straight towards the Manu Dei.
The two Super-battleships exchanged fire for less than an hour as ERF land forces were routed on the planet below. Finally, the Manu Dei was forced to retreat and the Machiavelli limped back to the SAC starbase for repairs. It had taken heavy damage, but when the Manu Dei retreated, the remaining ERF forces were easily cut off and surrendered soon after. The SAC remains independent of the ERF to this day and the two factions are largely docile, save for minor skirmishes.
It is speculated by historians that had it not been for the Machiavelli, the Manu Dei could have turned the tide back in the ERF's favor, with the destruction of the SAC immediately after.

@Ansje, no, I'm actually talking about the in-game Sporepedia, sorry if I was unclear. I cannot create or view any Sporecasts at all while in-game, Browser Sporepedia works fine.

My recent ships have mostly been ERF or Acolyte Confederacy ships, which are mostly grayscale and industrial-looking. I've begun working on a third faction's ships, the South Apex Conglomerate whose ships are much smoother and shinier.
South Apex Guardian Tank
South Apex Railgun Battlestation
And one more Acolyte vehicle to finish off their faction for a while:
Acolyte Stargazer AA Platform
The ERF and Acolyte have a lot of ships now (most of which haven't been posted here, but in other contests and stuff) but the South Apex Conglomerate lost most of its ships when my game got broken, so I'm remaking and/or resharing them.
I actually have a detailed history/lore written regarding interactions between my fiveish primary empires/factions written up, but that would have been saved for the World Builders thread which is no longer operational, sadly.
I also am having an issue that is not thread worthy, so I'll ask here: My sporecast button is gone, in the Sporepedia it only shows Buddies, My Spore and Creations, the Sporecast tab is missing entirely. It is irritating, as I intend to use Sporecasts for organizing the aforementioned factions (and others) but cannot.
@Cass01, awesome vehicles, the fighter is my favorite.

I've been here for three years and I've made something like three threads. That's one a year, two of which were help requests.

StelioKontos wrote:Tell me something. Who is SWGO_Star_Wars,
Has he created a C'Servoid War. C'Servoid War was created by Maxis, why can't he just create original creation.
No, Maxis created the Superweapon adventure, which had the C'Servoid as the primary antagonist. C'Servoid War is SWGO_Star_Wars' adventure series which is unrelated to the Maxis adventure save for the use of the C'Servoid.
