Ok, I've been poking around the forums and no one has really given any specific info on cheats. So I'm gonna explain most of Spore's Cheats in detail.
Here is the deal with cheats. If you press
CTRL+SHIFT+C, a pale blue window will come up. This is the command console. Typing in a cheat correctly will make whatever the cheat does, happen. As far as I know, it's not case sensitive (meaning you don't have to have correct caps and lowercase letters) but I havn't thouroughly tested this yet.
WARNING! USING CHEATS THAT ARE LISTED IN RED WILL DISCONTINUE THE SAVE FROM BEING ABLE TO GET ACHEIVEMENTS. ALSO, SOME GAMES GET A BUG THAT WILL DISABLE ANY SAVE FROM GETTING ACHEIVEMENTS IF YOU CHEAT. CHEATS IN BLUE SHOULD NOT AFFECT YOUR ABLILITY TO GET ACHIEVEMENTS.
I personally like the cheats. I mean, since the fricken cheat bug screwed over my game so now I can't earn any acheivements in any saves whether I cheated or not, what's the point of not cheating?
Here is a list of the cheats I've used but they're described in more depth (Note that obviously all the cheats are not included but most of the usefull ones are):
moreMoney: In the space stage, it gives you 1,000,000 sporebucks. If you want to get 99 million quick, then type in moreMoney, press enter to send it, then press the up key and enter again. Wash, rinse, repeat, get freaking rich. I'm not sure how much money this gives you in the civ stage though.
freedom This cheat was a real dissapointment for me. First of all, you can't use it in an in-game editor, and what that means is that you can't use it while you're actually playing the cell/creature/triblal/civ/space stages. You can use it when you're making a creature outside of that though, you know where you click the create button at the main menu and you can create any creature/vehicle/building.
Second of all, the freedom cheat doesn't remove all limits as far as I know. I've used it and it doesn't remove the limits, it simply increases the complexity limit by a little bit. So sorry folks who want to make huge tank creatures with a thousand and one fists, not gonna happen.
styleFilter This isn't really a cheat as it is a hidden feature. Typing in ''help'' without the quotes in the cheat menu will give you some filters you can use. This feature changes the overall look of the game, I.E. if you type in ''styleFilter -filmNior'' then everything on the screen will look black and white. Look on the main spore site to see what styleFilter really does.
Stylefilter options include:
-filmnoir
-oilpaint
-norainbows
-nextgen
-microscope
-none (to cancel out stylefilter.)
SetTime Like it says, this thing can set the time of day on the planet you're on. Just type a number between 0 and 24 and that's what hour it'll be on the planet. Typing a second number will change the minute (0-60) time. I don't get what it means as a speed multiplyer, someone will have to clarify that.
EDIT: SetTime allows you to set the time on the planet as well as the speed that day/night goes by.
evoadvantage This is a pretty neat cheat (heheh, rhymes...), if you use it before you start a new creature game then you'll be able to select a creature that's already evolved. So you can start out with a creature that has all level 5 attacks or social skills for an easy stage. Other then that it really isn't that usefull, but still interesting.
EDIT: You can use this cheat without any penalties. Any cheats you use outside of the actual game (creature stage, space stage, etc.) will not effect your ability to get achievements.
blocksMode This cheat simply makes everything look all blocky. You have to see it to really understand, but since it doesn't affect your acheivements I'd suggest you go ahead and try it.
help This is pretty self-explanitory, but useful non the less. Like it suggests, it pulls up a cheat sheet listing all of the game's cheats with discriptions (but they're in way less detail then mine!

).
Pretty helpfull if you forgot a cheat or how to spell it. For an in depth guide on a certain cheat in game, type "help name of cheat -full" into the ctrl-shift-c panel. For the ctrl-shift-c panel to give you maximum info, type into it "help -full"
refillMotives This is very helpfull but sadly helpfull cheats block your ablilty to get acheivements.

This cheat upon entering will instantly refill any motives you have (health, hunger, energy, etc.) in prettymuch every stage. Pretty helpfull when you're low on health or energy packs.
Ok, those are all the cheats I have up for now but I will post more in the future.
Thanks Gondor2222 for additional info.
