I was just wondering if there is a "map" of the universe. Where all the star systems and planets are???

Yeah, it's called zoom out.

There is no online map because everyone's universe is different.

No, it isn´t...guess why everyone can find Earth in the same Spiralarm...

@OP

I have something like a fictional Starmap for you. It´s from the Perry Rhodan-RPG, but features the real Milky Way names for Stars. It´s in German.

http://www.axelrogat.de/spartac/

Once downloaded and installed, start and press "Sternenkarte laden" and choose a Map.

"Milchstrasse"-Map is our Galaxy
"PR-Universum"-Map is our Universe so far.

Earth is the sole exception, and maybe the wormholes. Everything else is randomly generated.

Yeah the Names are random, but the Position of all Star-Systems is one and the same in every Game.

How do you expect everyone to have a different Galaxy, if there´s only one implied ? That would mean, we all have a different Game on our DVD...

Or do you think the Galaxy gets randomly mixed, every time you install Spore ? think, think...we all share the same Galaxy...

I heard something about stars forming. If new stars can form that means we may have different galaxies.

I would really appreciate if it was like that...but did you ever see a Star gets born ? And even if so, I think the positions where Stars get born, are also fixed.

i have got news for you its a myth, just like stars going nova and exploding is a myth! i loved the idea of it when i saw a video with Will stating that this star is about to go nova so i should stay away from it. i was so psyched to think that i could lose a system of planets because the star dies, but alas id doesnt happen maybe in the future or maybe in spore 2 but as it stands now with spore lacking everything it promised, and sales no where near breaking even on the expense of making and marketing spore i dont see EA green lighting a spore 2 because they so far have lost a considerable amount of money on this one

No pics no proof. Or was it in the background? In which case it's normal.
