That's because the widget code is HTML and the forums don't allow HTML.

It's not because it's html, per say, but because it's an embed code.

It can be put in, but its much too large, since you can't get the sizing parameters in.

Remove Spaces, substitute your userid and usersname

No size parameters my phlegmeflobnor.

Edit - Strange, I can only set one at a time.

the widgets doesn't work here but you can still put your creations in your sig using the IMG tag + a link to the thumbnail.
