maybe old news but expansions (the greed continues)

now im not going to post the whole thing but i wwant to disect it a bit

The first expansion, called the Creepy & Cute Parts Pack, will be released on November 18. The expansion will add 100 or so new parts to the wildly popular Creature Creator in two fairly obvious categories: cute and creepy. The pack is available for both the full game and the Creature Creator.

thats not an expansion thats a patch i hope to god they aint gonna charge more then a couple of quid for that (hell it should be free!)

why are they not addressing the main problem with spore the lack of features, the fact you can get to space in one sitting, the fact the game is just a collection of mini games. hell i havent played in over a month because i was bored my mates are the same
spore was a lovely concept ruined by will wrights greed (going for sales not meta critic score, his words) and it looks like the greed continues

the second expansion looks like it might be a real expansion though the space bit is the only part of the game with some depth (ok its still as shallow as a puddle but atleast your shoes get wet)

I agree with everything you have said.. just wanted to point out.. that in the quote from that site .. it says 100 PARTS. when in fact its 60 and the rest is just Gloss and MUCH need animation that should have been in the game to begin with.

If in fact will wright said that.. looks like, maybe, he was not entirely innocent. Though i would like to see the source of that quote before I DARE even think that.. I LOVE Will Wright.

thats the section im on about near the bottom

in my opinion a company should go for making the best game they can and the sales will sort themselfs out (did half life sell well? i forget)

oh and its good im not the only one furiouse they are gonna attempt to charge for what should be provided free
anyone renember mention of tenticles in the official ads? where are they ...oh wait here they are for a another few pounds (i bet 9.99 atleast) and we gixed some bugs and added new animations, look shiny, whats next some textures? for another £5 you too can have this colour planet right thats it i say we shoot all the ea shareholders fast *joke of course dont shoot anyone , throw mud at em but dont shoot em(its far to quic...i mean its not lawful)*
