Before you vote, please don't vote "Less than $10" because you don't want to spend any cash on the pack and please don't vote "More than $30" because you have an infinite amount of money flying out of your ---. Please pick a price you think is reasonable after thinking about all the things it comes with, the work put into it, and other variables.

I personally think the pack should cost $10. The pack comes with far less parts and features than the Creature Creator, and the CC was $10. $10 for the Cute and Creepy pack is enough to make sure EA/Maxis gets some profit, but the price isn't too high to make people avoid it.

$10. If even that. All you get is parts for your creature, not even any vehicles, or new editors. No new gameplay. Just MORE cutesy parts, and what they call "creepy".

Greetings comrades, if you are reading this, our attempt at global domination shall be realized soon. Please deploy all of your remaining peanut butter southward to your nearest representative for construction on the doomsday device.

The full version stand alone creature creator was 10$. Charging any more than that for extra parts would be a crime.

How can one truly know where one is with no proof beyond explination

Online

$20 because.. its not like CC which was just create creatures.. if you can't cough up $20 for a game that should in reality cost per month to play.. online shareable content is what makes spore great.. so it being free is amazing.. considering not many good games online are free... and you can't have a opinion of spore if you haven't even gave it a chance people who rant that spore sucks.. should give it a chance since they obviously haven't or just stop playing cause a game isn't bug free..

$10 sounds fair enough

Though I would have gladly paid $20 for CC, so I would've spent $30 on 'just' Creature stuff anyways

EDIT: good point, Neruu, they could easily charge us thru the arse for Spore being an online game; consider yourselves lucky we don't have monthly fees, or worse, charging us per uploaded creation! Or both!!

Less than $10

Facts:
Less parts than the CC, which was $10
No new editors
No parts for other editors (buildings & vehicles)
These parts (as well as in game parts) don't affect game play like they used to (stack-ability NOT enabled), which thus renders the parts useful for "artistic needs" and nothing more.

The parts pack is only for novice creators. The truth is, I can already make practically everything that comes in the pack already by using the parts given in the original Creature Creator. It's just a matter of placement, really.

I'd say either 10 dollars or less. I don't even use animations when making my creatures and I certainly don't need new backgrounds. The only thing I'm interested in is those new textures. You can't make new textures.

...

Did you know that eventually, they are planning to release some code that will allow you to make your OWN parts and textures?

I'll pay 20 dollars for that.

it should not cost per month. in fact they shouldn't have charged for the full creator.

I hate to say it but I did pirate the full version, I don't pirate stuff as a general rule but man I was not going to pay twice for content I had already preordered.

I will buy everything they release for spore most likely but I will not pay twice and I will not pay for the priveledge of populating the sporpedia for them.

I'm just not a fan of pay to play, I buy products I don't rent them.

Cute and Creepy Expansion Right?
Its 18,50$ in my motherland(dont ask)

I ordered it but they said out of service range(I have to wait 2 weeks) lol.
And people told they bought their spore was 50$.
But I bought it for 38 in its first week. Interesting isnt it.

Maybe its less expensive in Europe.

I don't know enough about programming to know if there is any truth to this but i have heard some say that creature files are so small because they consist of a limited set of parts

oh and I would pay $5-$10 tops for the parts packs, since the price is twenty I'll just wait for it to drop or get bundled with other stuff.

Seeing as they didn't allows us to opt out of autouploading they sure as hell better not charge us per upload.

that would be counterproductive since they rely on user generated content. It would be an incredibly dumb move.
