Is there any way to change a military vehicle to an economic vehicle without re-building the whole model?

I was wondering the same but I don't think you can. At least I have not found a way to do it.

He means can you take say, a economic air, and import the chassis into military air.

No it is not possible, those vehicles were made for their specific purpose and changing them would be futile.

Lame… It would be nice to have this as a feature. I have two really cool military land vehicles that I would like to use at the same time, with the same civ. It would be nice to turn one economic without having to spend hours in the vehicle creator tool rebuilding it again.
