Crop Circles, alot of you are complaining that they are a waste of time, yet they are not! If you use a Crop Circle near a tribal of civ stage city, they will evolve to the space stage quicker, and you will have bonus relationship points with them when they do. Combine this with an early monolith, and they will start as your friend. Crop Circles are not useless!

EDIT:
Combine this with an early monolith, and they will start as your friend.

reEDIT:
Combine this with an early monolith, and there is a chance that they will start as your friend.

Reason? If they happen to turn out evil, or something like that they may distrust strangers, therefore they still MAY not be your friend.

A CHANCE? What?
Any tribe/civ that you monolith to Space has a +50 bonus, automatically.
Last I checked, +50 pretty much guarantees starting friendship.

Crop circles turn whatever creature you're uplifting via monolith into a zealot if you spam them with crop circles. It can also be used to draw citizens out of a city so you can eradicate the glowing ones without hurting the others.

Crop circles can cause the native sentients to go along a religious path, or green path if you want to look at it like that. The more crop circles and the more you interact with them, the more green they'll go. They can turn out to be a Zealot, or even a Scientist or Shaman from my experiences.
