Here's one idea for creature stage:

Barber Shop

Instead of being stuck with just the reptilian type of skin all smoothed over. Add the ability to go with Hair, Fur, or Feathers. And from there be able to adjust length and size in the paint feature of the creator. Instead of making people use DNA points to buy feathers or try and buy things to make it look like fur. Allow a feature that lets you cover the entire creature with such a thing and adjust from there.

In cell and creature stages:
Have more powerful weapons, mouths, and details.

In Civ stage:
Allow you to pilot a vehicle and lead an attack on an enemy city and be able to switch back to 3rd person at any time and also have in the outfitter have a "shoe" part that goes over the creatures foot and toes and resembles a type of footwear.

In Space stage:
Allow your ship to get closer to the planet's surface, and have a choice in the "my collections" section to have 10% of space adventures GA, 50% GA, or 90% GA.

In GA adventures and GA editor:

More captain weapons: Water wave, Goo Lobber, Flame-thrower, and Iron fist. These are just names of weapons that I think would sell best.

In editor, have a machine gun-type weapon you can pick up and a "trigger" button will appear on the abilities bar at the bottom of the screen. Holding down this button will make this gun shoot automatically at a set speed and have a set amount of ammo. It will also allow you to choose a building or vehicle to disguise it's bullets. The bullets cannot penetrate buildings, land, or vehicles, and can have a set amount of damage per bullet.

In GAs, you can have a two, three, or four player mode where other players can drop in and play at once.


MAXIS, PLEASE CONSIDER THESE EXPANSION IDEAS!!!

If maxis add water stage i think it should be combined whit creature stage. So that you can evolve out of water or back and if you go swim with land creature you could dive and you should be able to get part's that will make you dive longer and you could come out of water whit water creature and be able to make it be out of water longer whit right part's.

i have an idea.

make your own achievements/trophies

it could be for GA. i used to play SPORE. (i dont anymore because my computer wont let me) and they made the ability for the person who has builders club, gets the ability to make badges. we could do that for GA too! we'd get a trophy editor, and we could make achievements as easy as making goals. we just drag and drop the marker where we want it, and if it lands on the ground, it makes a marker that you can toggle invisible, normal or disguised (like with objects) and if it lands on creatures, buildings or objects then the goal manu pops up. for example. i want to make an achievement where you have to kill 50 enemies. so i drag the marker to the enemy and select the kill option. then, it'll come up in a little box to the right hand side and i type in the box 50. its as simple as that! then, you can test it when you test your adventure. so basically, YOU have to kill 50 of the enemy. when you do, the little sign comes up. it shows you the achievement. oh and you can also upload a picture where the normal picture is. you can edit the name, and description of the achievement.

now, for the trophies, you get a trophy editor. you can pick a creature/building/vehicle/UFO and put it in the editor. then you can move the limbs of the creature in any way you want. then you can choose what colour the trophy is (defult is gold) and then you're done. you can then place it in your adventure to be collected.

I think it must have different star size. I mean, have you ever wonder a galaxy have stars with all same size???

Well have you ever wonder that our sun have 5400 million years left to live. Same as this, other stars can explodes and become supernova, dwarf stars, proto planetary disk, and black holes. And this can happen to the spore galaxy too.

-Space Migrating Tags : Space events

When our homeworld's star or colony's star get old we'll get mission to locate our new homeworld or colony. Same as galaxy, we must follow the escape routes given by our empire with time limits and when we reached the end of th routes there will be a scene that we're seeing a big wormhole connecting to a young galaxy while the old galaxy starts explode and a dramatic such thing saying goodbye blablabla.... and when we go inside...... BUMMMMMMM...... a short scene of the old galaxy explodes.

-Space Recovery

In the new galaxy/star we must start again except money and promotion. We must build a cozy homeworld again, build alliance with another empire again, enlarge empire, and explore the galaxy core for you who didn't sucessfully come to the galaxy core.

-Grox Galaxy Invade/Follow

If you have "founded" grox in the old galaxy "and" be neutral, enemy, or alliance there will be a scene where the grox follow you to the new galaxy and yet..... if you're friends all empire will declare war and if you're enemy..... you already know right and neutral is nothing. For you who didn't found grox at all in the old galaxy you'll meet'em here. Notes : Grox's teritory will still placed around the galaxy core, so...... have fun....

-Our Own Empire's Fleet

If a colony had enough to what it takes we can order them to attack. We can set how much fleet shall attack and each fleet 10000 sporebucks

Thats my idea for now hehehehehe......

Water Stage Progression:
you should start out as a cell, and actual cell not a maxis cell, then make your way up into the maxis fish/cell thingy, and then work your way into the water stage, after that you should be able to choose water creature or not and then from there pocopoco's ideas take over

Colony Templates

Allow you to save the layout of a space colony, then replicate it instantly when you place a colony on a like-terraformed world. So you can build a T3 colony once, then when you set down further T3 colonies you can just apply the template, pay the cost, and not have to worry about manually placing every turret and building.

Colony auto-trading

Create a purchaseable colony upgrade like the spice-storage that allows your colonies to trade their excess spice automatically for their base cost, and give you the funds next time you stop by. So once your empire reaches a good size, there's still a purpose to building more productive colonies.

Colony spice upgrading

Alternatively to auto-trading, you could perhaps be able to purchase an upgrade for your planets that converts some of the spice production into a selection of other spices, so that once your empire reaches sizeable proportions and you don't get around all your colonies anymore your spice production can continue to improve by picking up multiple spices at once.

Spice Ship Storage Up

It is really quite irritating that spice storage is limitted to 99 all through the game. 99 is a lot of spice initially, but not so much later. I'd like to see purchaseable upgrades for the ship that allow storage of more spice.

Retaining Superpowers

It sort of annoys me when my empire changes focus and miraculously loses the ability to use their old technology. Archtype change is annoying enough a process that it seems like letting people collect superpowers through multiple archtypes would be a better reward.

Space Stations

I like the idea of being able to design and build space stations in orbit around your planets. You could also have a parts collection minigame like you do in the earlier epochs so that you get to gradually build better and better stations. Effects might include spice production modifiers, eco-disaster chance modifiers, planetary defence modifiers, spice trading (auto-trading ? ).

Meaningful Space-ship parts

It always seemed a little incongruous to me that the space stage creation process resulted in identically powered ships regardless of the parts used, when this is not done in any of the earlier epochs. Maybe having your ship upgrades reflected in your ships appearance, or replacing upgrades with collectable parts, might be worthwhile.

Allied empire charting

When you ally with another empire, maybe getting a map of their settlements would be useful, as well as any proximal stars that they might reasonably have explored.

Creature adaptation : It would basically work like that : The more you use a part, the more your creatures stats will increase in that domain. I.E: Your creatures sprints alot, say, to catch it's prey, then the next generations stats in sprinting will be slightly higher,( you'll still have to pay, but less then if your creature never sprints or doesn't even have sprint) and you will not have to unlock any new parts, it just unlocks automatically)).

Mutation : When you breed, some other creatures in your nest could be slightly different from you, for example, you have glide lv.2 and it has glide lv.1. If this mutation is useful, this creature would survive, and reproduce, so it's offsprings would be slightly different from yours, over time, they could break apart from your species, and become a new one !
Another scenario could be, another member of your species is slightly different from yours, for example, you have charge lv2, it has charge lv3. Since it is stronger then yours, it will reproduce instead of you, so the species next gen. will be his offsprings ! The species next changes will follow this line, instead of the one you were planning to follow.
This is basically natural selection, so this could also be a way to adapt to your environment, if it changes a bit because of a migration, or because of a sudden climate change, if this is implemented.
This would introduce some changes not player induced, and may add some fun to the game.

Spice color changing:
It would be interesting if, once you reach the omnopotent rank, and gain a few special badges, you may be able to purchase a device which changes the spice color of a planet, which would be cool, since sometimes you have lots of red spice colonies but no purple ones or very few, you could change a few red ones to purple ones. This change could even be random, even if a controlled one would be better.
To keep things fair and balanced, each transformation may cost a lot of money, or may need a very long cooldown. Or maybe these could be expensive rechargeable products, like planet busters(~1-3 million sporebucks).
Of course, it might be cheaper to just find a planet which produces this spice, but what if there are no planets like this in tens of pcs.
Or maybe you would like to change your homeworld, or captured homeworlds, which produce lots of spice because of the numbers of cities .

homeworld spice color randomization:
It would be cool if your homeworld could have something else then crummy red spice !
The game could introduce different spice types on your homeworld instead of just red spice.

I agree that spice color change would be good. I also think it would be great to be able to place our own cities on an inhabited planet and fight that way as well.

One big peeve is no key binding. I WOULD LOVE TO DO KEY BINDING. I want to at least control what keys do what.
