I saw a most popular without a comment and with no thumbs up. WTF is going on here.I have too many friends deserves that position...Maybe I could get one some other time but Im the first one saw it and commenting it HOW COULD POSSIBLE IT BECAME A MOST POPULAR...

maybe, just maybe, the way most popular works is by the number of clicks, not actual comments? if that's the case, then it leaves space for hacks and expoits.....hmmmmm...

i think they reset most popular every few days/week to get popular NEW creations

i hope not, because i have been trying to get my creature picked for weeks the closest i have got to popularity is this one

it's the only creation i have made with that many comments and the first to have a green smiley.

Oh fine, I'll blow the lid, I always feel really undeserving anyway when I pull that stunt.

The Sporepedia rolls over around now, give or take an hour, and it resets the most popular list. Anything you post in the first half hour after rollover has a VERY good chance of staying in the top 20 all day provided it's photogenic and can continue to get positive votes to keep it pinned up there.

So, if you want attention, now is the time to get those creations uploaded. (I found out by accident after my "Iubati" race shot up to one of the most popular creations of all time and I was like "Whut? How?" and realised what'd happened; I'd posted it exactly on the rollover by sheer chance)

That said, being highly rated doesn't seem to have much bearing on features, I 've had 3 models now in the top 4 (ie. displayed in "most popular" all day and gained a green smiley, piles of comments) but I still havn't had a featured creation.

...now I have revealled this dread secret I'm sure my life if forefeit amongst the attention seeking crowd who've hoped this was their little secret to success to abuse

nice so i got like 20 comments on my creation earlier and it would have been better if it got all those comments now?

theres several multiples in that most popular section you'll notice if you click back a bit

To commanderT, I agree, every single creation in your sig is better than that thing. Even my joke creations are better looking!

I try not to look at the featured and most popular lists because it annoys me. theres a colourless ball with no details in that most popular, and an eyeball in the featured section

i mean wtf. I can spend ages on some of my creatures, and those thigns get in.

i'll just continue to post thigns and hope for the best
