This is a game that is available free, uses science rules, has no goals, yet is actually really amusing - my son plays this more often than his other paid-for games.

I give you Phun.

An example of some of what you can do:

Science. A simple ruleset (objects have mass, velocity, inertia, density, elasticity. Aaaand... go!).

It supports virtually unlimited two-dimensional creativity. Imagine how much more fun Spore could have been if it had merely done some of this in three dimensions. Cause an avalanche, throw objects and topple others, build a fort. Just to start.

Have fun, and do try and get hurt. Making mistakes is almost all of the enjoyment.

Goodbye.

LOL, that is great looking. Can you imagine a world... or galaxy for that matter, in which you start off as a minute cell in a real physics based world. Maybe evolving onto the land, figuring out how to make weapons or vehicles, then trying to make a spaceship that actually flies! LOL, people would be floating out into space uncontrollably, or get stuck struggling to even get off the ground. Simply flying would be a challenge. Of course, some rules would have to be bent, maybe like fuel consumption and power generation and stuff, but adhering to the physical properties of different objects and environments would not only be educational, but challenging and probably hysterical as well. Imagine a MMORPG in which people built everything (like Spore), and actually needed to work together to accomplish things, like one guy needs to man the rocket, while the other guy lights the fuse, or one guy drives, while a few other guys push the vehicle, LOL. This doesn't even address lifeforms.

Downloaded it. No viruses, spyware, Trojans, etc. I was slightly confused at the beginning, but it is SO fun. Recommended.

Here's a much simpler physics toy that's built into its webpage. Nowhere near as cool as the OP's toy, but I'm just throwing it out there for common knowledge.

The story so far:
In the beginning, the Universe was created.
This has made a lot of people mad and been widely regarded as a bad idea.

Yes, something FUN, and scientific at the same time! Novel Idea! Ea should have taken the same stance eh. I wonder if there would be a good place for users here to upload their creations. Now that would be neat.

The castle crumbles from within. Outsiders will not notice till the last of the walls come down.
