Really? I mean seriously? Have you played any other game than this one that you managed? Have you even PLAYED THIS GAME? If not, then your statement makes complete sense to me.

Also, I imagine that the more people they have working on it, the faster they can get it out of the way so they can focus more on game play expansions, which, by the way, normally take quite some time to make. The fact that they'll have their first one in Spring is fairly impressive. And once that's out of the way, they'll have time to work on other cool stuff, like the next game play expansion, which will probably add some of the stuff that those-who-do-not-stop-whining-about-spore have been asking for. Seriously, I see the same complaints from the same people on nearly every thread I look at.
By the way, has anyone else noticed that the "creepy" creature on the cover is running away from the "cute" creature?

Sometimes I think it would be cool if dragons were real. Then I think: they're giant fire breathing lizards that can fly with skin like armor. And they're carnivores. We're perfectly fine without them. |

Read my last post DrLazy. Pay particularly close attention to the second to last sentence of the first paragraph.

This is great and all, but they should really focus on the story mode and actually make the GAME better.

The point of Spore is that you don't have to deal with some story just so you can make a goofy looking planet populated by giant dwarves.

I'll be honest, I'll probably buy everything they put out for this game. The real question is when, I don't intend to pay full price for alot of it. I'll probably get most expansions early on because I want actual gameplay as soon as proper reviews are out. Parts packs and such on the other would have to drop considerably for me to buy them.
I definitely would never pre order anything after this initial release because spore right now is practically in beta.

I will only buy this pack if it includes a monocle.
Seriously, how can you have a top hat in the game with no monocle?
It does not make sense.

Even though I'm not sure this will really be worth $20, I'll probably get it anyway because the creepy parts look pretty cool.

This is one of few valid complaints I've seen so far. We should be able to give our creatures monocles!
