i just wanna get this in numbers...

many people believe that Spore fails drammatically in reaching it´s own potential, such failure seems to be becoming a tendency in the game indusrty nowadays, and it´s most apparent on titles involved with corporate behemoths such as EA....

if Spore remains in it´s current state, regardless of the cess-ridden flow of complaints, what does that say about it´s developers and publishers regard for their own public?

EA was dead to me before Spore anyway. I only trusted it because it's a Will Wright game, and that trust has been stomped on.

I wasn't planning on buying anything EA related after Dead Space ever again anyway. (Getting it for the Xbox 360)

I already passed on Crysis: Warhead. It might hurt not getting Far Cry 2, but I won't.

It probably won't hurt nearly as much as you think ^-^

I could have done it better with the same funds and manpower. 'It' being the variable in this statement. - Me

I note on xfire Spoor is now being played less than Halo. That's Halo #1, mind you.

A game that has been around for SEVEN YEARS is still comparatively more interesting to the gaming community than a game a month old.

Nice work EA/Maxis. Got yourselves a real winner in Spoor.

Enjoy my $50. I hope it was worth it, because it's the last money you'll ever see from this gamer.

At least change the topic to "will you ever buy another EA game" Maxis had a great idea for this game, my idea is that EA came in shoved sticks in their SPORE saying "you need to take this out" put in the SecuROM and turned a good game bad. don't blame will and maxis, blame EA.

I'm thinking about getting Warhammer online, but other than that. No.

I've had it with EA.

Anyone concerned about Far Cry 2 can feel fine purchasing it. It's Ubisoft, not EA. Ubisoft isn't perfect, but at least they don't abuse their customers with expansions every 2 months. As for Warhammer Online, I've read nothing but terrible things about that game. The only people promoting it are those who 1) work for reviewing sites/magazines/agencies in which EA advertises on, 2) people who haven't played the game yet, or 3) people who haven't spent much time playing the game. Everyone I know who tried it was looking for some sort of WoW alternative, found one in Warhammer, and then quickly ran back to WoW due to quality and depth issues.

Exact same situation here. I bought all the Maxis Sim Cities on multiple platforms, the original The Sims (didn't buy anything else due to expansion fatigue), and now Spore. The Maxis and Will Wright branding no longer will move me to purchase a game. Even The Sims had more depth than Spore. Will needs to retire or at least get out from under EA. Maxis needs to go the way of West-wood by shutting down and then resurfacing as a non-EA company.

fix Spore? they've 'fixed' enough. EA is done, my private court has condemned them to the depths of unfriendly towards customers hell forever.
