Is there one rogue from each NESTED species present on the planet? And does an epic have to be a creature present on the planet? ( Like, I want a rogue Cloverfield, but it is an epic and I am not sure if it has a group of normal Cloverfields)

What in Spore are you referring to as a Rogue? Epics I know plenty about, not Rogues, or at least by that name.

Rogues are those creatures that normaly live alone, they are stronger that the normal creature(250hp) they are a good help for you if you make friends with them

I've found that Rogues sometimes, but not always, have nests. If they do, then making friends with the nest makes you friends with the rogue, and vice versa. I've never seen an Epic have a nest or smaller creatures or an equivalent rogue, though. There was a post awhile ago about a guy who befriended a rogue and then later found an epic version of it, which he then charmed into his pack.

Hmm, I've never run across a rogue's nest and I've "chased" a rogue pretty far because I wanted to get him in my pack....lol. I've always assumed that rogues are place randomly on the planet just like the normal nested creatures....

I'll have to look harder next time and see if I can find his nest.

You can earn 100 DNA points by befriending one and you can put them in your pack. I've done it twice. I don't think they have a nest, they are usually hanging out at someone else's nest and usually alone. I've never seen more than one of that species.

What I HATE though is when I have 1 or 2 rogues in my pack and a UFO comes along and sucks them up!!! Stupid ufos leave my rogues alone!

I actually managed to get a full pack of rogues (3) in my last creature game. Entered Tribal with an instant Domestic Bliss badge. Plus they made my pack just about unbeatable.

This is what I mean.... You see a Epic Cloverfield... And you wonder... Where did it come from? Maybe it is a mutation from a normal species on this planet, that in time, ran away And then you hope to stumble apon the nest of normal cloverfields. And can they have evicted a fellow Cloverfield, to become a rogue.

Is any of my thinking correct.. (The bold)

I love what I read somewhere about rogues:

"Captivate and befriend one of these powerful creatures to help you make your way to the top of the food chain."

One time a rogue I befriended was killed by an epic, but later I found another rogue that was the same species of the one that died.I wonder where it spawned.

The only reason I've seen a Rogue at someone elses nest is because they just attacked it.

If I see a Epic creature, does that mean that there are the plain version of that species?

From what I've seen:

I have yet to see an epic or rogue with a "normal" version of themselves running around in my games.

I have not found a rogue nest.

However, I can say that IF a rogue or epic spawns and is the same species as another creation, it seems likely that they will have the same relations to you as the "normal" creature. I base this off my last game, when I had two rogues of the same species, and the fact that I had to only befriend the first, the second joined my posse on one interaction.

Here's my theory on how it all works. Regardless of size status (normal, rogue, or epic), the game has only one relationship scale per species. Attack the normal or rogue version, and all versions will hunt you (though with epics, you'd never notice). Befriend any version, and all versions are your friends.

...which, while it definitely has it's amusing points, speaks volumes about the design of the game.

Hmm, that makes me wonder if epic versions of creatures will hunt normal versions of themselves. Be tough to test, except by pure luck (or someone figuring out how to delete all the Maxis stuff).
