Any Spore "Veterans" Left?

I've been playing Spore a lot again recently and looked on the Sporum a lot and I've noticed something; 99% of the players are now people who bought the game in 2010/2011/2012, and the other 1% are people who bought the game way into 2009.

Are there any true '08rs left or am I all alone? And by that I don't mean people who registered on the Spore website or the Sporum in 2008, I mean people who bought and first played Spore in 2008.

I got the game for christmas in 2008, but I didn't make an account until January 9th 2009. Then I cam here.

Although my game says otherwise, I've been here since '08 under the name Cresent 222. I just started getting what I would call good actually. Other vets that are still around are:

Kaleon
Parkaboy
XdoomsoulX

There's a lot of others that I'm definitely forgetting about, but there's not a lot of us left.

Yeah, its sad that so many of my old friends and most of the legendary and classic old great creators are gone.

Yeah. Andeavor and Foto left some tile in march and TnT hasn't made anything in years.

I thought foto left about 2 years ago.

If I can remember I'm pretty sure I bought and played the game in '08 but it was late '08 and I didn't get an online account set up until early '09.

I also didn't join the Sporum until late '09.

Its not when you registered the game online or joined the forum, its when you got and first played the game.

I saw a new creation by Hydromancerx recently. So he/she must still be around. Techno605 still comments. Slartibartfast38 checks in occasionally on his new account, "Slarti-42". There's also Hydro_Glyph.

Those are the first few that I can think of at the top of my head...I'm sure there are more veterans creating. And likely many more lurking, as Xeno said below.

I bought and first played Spore on the day the full game was released in September 2008. I'd wager that there's more of us around than you think; a lot of people have stopped playing but there are more lurkers than it would first appear.

Yea I have had the game since 2008 I left in 2010 for awhile and came back this April as HtLBox. My old account was crazyboxoo.

I've played since 08' but only made a Spore account in early Feb 09'. Then I came here.

Wow, didn't know there were still so many of us. This brings a smile to my face.

Although all of the "new" players I've seen around make me feel old.

Ashkelon still comes around often, and I've been here for quite some time- I got the game during late 2008/early 2009 and joined the forum a few months later.

I'm from 08'.
