CREEPY AND CRAWLY CONTEST!!!

So this is a contest because I really need props for my new GA I'm making. (I suck at making GA props) I will have several category's and give you an outline of how the creatures/building/etc. should look. Then you create it and the best in each category will get both a trophy and a spot in the GA!


The Story

So the GA is called The Calmere Nightmare. For those of you who play Minecraft you may know the story, as it is a Minecraft custom map.

So our story begins in 1934 with a former detective from Boston going to the small town of Calmere, Massachusetts, to visit a friend who's replaced the former school teacher of the town. You our detective received a letter from his old friend, it reads as follows.

To my dear friend:
I've been teaching in the town of Calmere for some time now and have noticed some strange happenings. The locals seem to be very vague whenever I ask them about their town's past. I have read some folklore and town history and it seems as though there are gaps within it. It's almost as if the books are missing pages in them. Entire years oh town history seems to be missing. The locals seem especially touchy if I even ask what's happened over the past ten years, which are completely missing from the town's record books. I think something very bad may be going on here in this small town of Calmere, so I've called you to help me find out what's happening.

So, you step off the bus into Calmere, and your adventure begins!



The Contest

So for the contest portion of this, I need you, yes YOU, to make some props I'll use in this GA. I will try to give you as much creative freedom as possible, but I really do need some specific things. Here are the categories, then I'll make specific requests.


Categories!

Creepy Creatures
Creepy little monsters, insects, and villagers! (The villagers will need to look a certain way, refer to requests)

Spooky Buildings
Dark, run down buildings, old little church, and stuff like that. Just remember this is 1943 here.

Ruins, Remains, and Revolvers. (In other words, PROPS!)
Refer to requests for details. But you know, tomb stones, guns, dark portal frames, satanic symbols, stuff like that.


Requests

So yeah, while I want to see what you guys come up with, I also want some specific things. The original creator of the story said it was heavily inspired by H. P. Lovecraft's work, so all the props should have that sorta feel to them. (if you don't know what Lovecraft is, don't worry, just make the stuff creepy) Now on to specific requests.

An old church. Preferably with a tower on the side of it.

A Cthulhu. (someone will know what this is I'm sure)

A meaty looking wall prop.

An inn.

A library.

Villagers. Their skin needs to be a pale, greenish color, and they need to have angry looks.

An inn keeper. (with the same specs. as the previous villager request)

A village guard. (needs to be carrying a small hand gun and have the same specs. as the normal villagers)

A school house. (Note: It needs to look like a run down fortress, not an actual school house)

School props.

A Coffin.


Rules

Almost forgot about this!

1. No bot parts. All other expansion parts are allowed.

2. Be nice to other competitors, please do not insult them.

3. No using freedom, because these things are supposed to go into a GA. AddDNA is fine though.

4. No obscene or racist entries.

5. Don't talk about fight club.

6. Always hug the left wall in mazes.

7. It's a secret to everybody!

8. The cake is a lie.

9. Ok now this is getting random ignore all rules after rule 4 except rule 10 and 11.

10. All entries must be tagged "creepyandcrawly2012" (entries made before this rule was added are exempt from it.)

Conclusion

So in conclusion, I hope you can have fun and have a good time playing the GA when it comes out! Remember all participants will get a trophy, and all winners in each category will get trophies. Have fun!

I include arthropods/arachnids into that category. Feel free to make as many 8-legs as you want!

Then the category should have been arthropods because we're probably closer related to tunicates than insects are to arachnids.

Just call them bugs.

Also remember this is for a GA. So, the winners will be put into my GA. Thus meaning, only stuff that I need for my GA can win. Other things can get honorable mention though!

This looks great! I'll use this one unless someone makes like a completely epic one that outshines it. (I doubt anyone will though)

I'm supposing since they're for a GA, they also need to function? In that case no posed creatures?

Yes, no posed creatures can win 1st place and thus get into the GA.
