Despite the debunking of such events actually probable. This thread is here just to discuss survival of such events. Will you act like the next Bear Grills? Will humanity be crushed or enslaved? How will YOU live it out? I wonder how long it will be before 2012 is posted besides this OP

I think we'd be most likely to survive nuclear fallout. We've already got hundreds of precautions to prevent something like that from happening, and we're not fighting a sapient menace. As for asteroids? Bah, that'd destroy Earth within hours. There'd be nothing to stop it. Fallout, all you need is a sealed, oxygen-filled chamber. Not even that. The radiation wouldn't be far enough spread to devastate rural areas like where I live.
