Life After the Grox, the oldest roleplay that is still active on this forum, and the longest lasting RP in the history of the Sporum (and doubtless one of the longest on the internet) will be coming to an end in a couple days on its third birthday. PITHADIUS and Lukeking4564 are in the process of planning as sequel, and one of them will post "Life After the Universe" shortly after Life After the Grox ends.

I suggested that in order to allow people to become interested and caught up in the story, that an OOC thread be made, and PITHADIUS gave me permission to do so. The planning is being done via PMs among the members of Life After the Grox.

LATU
Life after the Universe

The Multiverse. A vast place, full of many strange and wonderful things, yet with many horrors as well. Numerous Multiverses have existed, each only similar due to the existence of two beings. One is the Destroyer, who devours each Multiverse once they have begun to die, and then creates an "egg" metaphorically speaking, that will "hatch" into the next one. The other is the Creator, which I am, who records all that happens in the Multiverse using the Great Book of the Seventh Dimension. It is also our job to make sure that the Cosmic edge hatches correctly.
The most recent Multiverse is known as the LATG, or Life After the Grox, Multiverse. However, a being from the previous universe, Spode, found a planet that had primitive life on it, which would later be called Terra, or Earth. He created two sets of beings: one to watch over Earth, and the other to seed life across the Universe using comets filled with cellular life. Spode then died.
As the new Beings made decisions, the universe split into many alternate versions of itself, each with their own principle realities. In the Chief of these, simply called LATG, one of the Beings turned to evil, and corrupted an innocent race known as the Grox. A great war was fought, and eventually all sapient life passed into ruin. However, 30,000 years later, new sapient species, such as the Pooh-Olo and the Ploners, created their own stories.
Far away in a distant galaxy, a being that could break the cycle of the endless rebirths, and create a perfect eternal multiverse, named Ytopias, was created. Alas, he deemed himself powerful enough to handle the secrets of the prior multiverses, and when he learned of them, he went insane and fled this multiverse, never to return. So the cycle will continue forever.
Greater than any of these alien tales is the tale of Earth. The Sapient Species there, Humanity, destroyed their world in a nuclear war. However, one of the Beings created by Spode managed to save a small remnant of Terran life. Some he sent to another Multiverse, known as Pijidraw. The rest of the Terran Life (the Oheh-Olo or sapient Chimpanzees, and the Iche-Iche, or a sapient species mutated from rats) merged to form a god named Nw.
One of the Alternate Universes, HACC, became alive and sapient. This led to a chain of events resulting in the Destroyer of this universe being released, beginning the end of the universe. However, a small alliance of sapient species, known as the MOSSA, managed to save themselves and escape to the next reality. Nw and a few other gods managed to escape as well.
I, Qeqeriki the Creator, have given Nw the Great Book, in the next reality he will take my place as the Creator/Recorder. I go now to my death, confident that the few survivors of this universe are in the good hands of Nw.

Rules/Notes

*players can control a gang of Rogue Warriors, one of the city states of Mysims, or a race native to the "sky islands", the latter showing from progression from creature, to a pre- tribal state, to groups of tribes, to a medieval nation, to an industrial race, to a modern civilization, to a interplanetary civilization, to an interstellar empire. While the sky islanders don't start off as advanced, their vast distance from Silva keeps them safe.

*Rogue Warriors can be a race of your choice and begin with very advanced technologies, however the rogue warriors have no knowledge of constructing, repairing or replicating these technologies.

*players should write a five line paragraph at least each post, and it helps to post your current stats at the end of your posts

*no godmodding

*no making gods. You can have false gods, mythical gods, mutants who are worshiped like gods, and so on; but no true gods. There are only a few gods, and they are under control of mods and can be seen below.

*In the Realm of Cosmos time passes slower than on LATU, however to compensate the inhabitants of LATU will Advance at a significantly slowed pace .

Realms

Latu itself is a galaxy sized planet, whose light mostly from massive bioluminescent plants that in turn feed off geothermic heat. The planet can in turn be divided into four regions, Cosmos; the ring of normal sized planets of stars that revolves around Latu, Silva; which covers more than half the planet, Necro; which consists of the North pole, and Animus; the southern hemisphere.

*Cosmos: where HACC residents end up. Basically it is a cloud of planets and stars in orbit around the galactic planet, Latu. The star light keeps the planet below alive, though in a state of eternal twilight. This realm is the one with interstellar civilizations, and is mostly made of the HACC Ploner and Frog Galaxies. MOSSA is the main power here.

*Silva: where the Sizzz-Shling/Mikilo from the LATG frog galaxy ended up. After the Sizzz-Shling warped the Mikilo and them to the future, the darkspore Sizzz-Shling merged the travelers into an infected hive mind. They now live all around the equator of LATU and up to the north pole. and their territory grows every day. The only power here is the Hive.

*Necro: here is where the UUF ended up. This is the north pole of the planet, and icy wasteland with hundreds of ancient ruins of a super advanced civilization. The survivors of UUF have worked to salvage the ruins, to regain their ancestor's power. They have a shield around their territory, one that the Hive can not breach. The power here is that of the Rogue Warriors; gangs of the descendants of the UUF.

*Animus: the kingdom made of the southern hemisphere. The residents here have an odd power, they can manipulate reality to a degree. Though it seems like magic, it is the residue of the old fifth dimension, the dead god ZaaI, and several other sources. Some cities here have a steampunk feel, with airships, simple automatons, and other technologies. The residents here are not relics of LATG, and evolved naturally here before the three other powers arrived. They are called Mysims, and have a blocky human-like form. They are made of many city states, some allied some hostile.

Returning races:

MOSSA- Multiverse Original Sapient Species Alliance

*Sizzz-Shling(PITHADIUS): a massive empire that spanned multiple galaxies and realities in the prior multiverse. They resemble a velociraptor, but bulkier and with tusks. They have many different castes and liberty is limited, but all are so devoted to their race that they don't care. They do have a tinge of self-hatred, as despite their power and technology, almost every tool they ever used was either traded for, salvaged, stolen, or taught to them. Their scavenger behavior torments them, though they usual keep it inside. A quirk of their physiology allows them to be immune to mind probing. Secretly one of their favorite accomplishments was the invention of MOSSA, while their favorite ally are the Mikilo. They have a connection with an dark elemental force...

*Mikilo(lukeking4564): a race of penguin like creatures with three pairs of flippers, they are another founding race of MOSSA. They were an young race when the Sizzz-Shling discovered them. The reptilians help uplifted them and the two have been allies since, though not officially until MOSSA formed. They are not as quick to violence as the Sizzz-Shling, but they do have a bloody history. They formerly have mental powers, though these have since been lost. It is unknown if these abilities will manifest again in later generations. They have a connection with a aquatic elemental force...

*Balloonicites/Avios(Bbeast): two races on a frozen world called Xoolat. One of them lurks in the vast oceans of liquid oxygen and nitrogen, while another on the strange mountains. For ages they were enemies, as the bird like Avios would hunt the balloon-like creatures, leading to many wars. The Sizzz-Shling managed to ally the two of them after teaching the Avios how to farm and stockpile food, making them enter a period of peace. More recent to LATU's start some Balloonicites and a spaceship from another reality reached their brothers.

*Frogs(frogempire) a group of frog like humanoids native to Dyron, the sapient planet. Their world is an intelligent organism, and if fact can control the frogs when it is at full strength. The frogs of HACC were joined by the Drakons as residents of Dyron. Their counterparts in LATG were a race uplifted by the Sizzz-Shling, but in the end they were destroyed in a civil war.

*Drakons(Legionofshadows): their race possessed a large interstellar empire in the LATG universe, but it was destroyed at the end of the prior multiverse. The surviving Drakons moved to HACC Dyron, among the frogs. They recognize individuals more often than most space civilizations, although they are disliked by the Sizzz-Shling because of both of them have ego issues. They are less advanced than both Sizzz-Shiing and the Mikilo, but still are quite powerful.

*Nana-Olo(PITHADIUS): a relative of the Sizzz-Shling who are made of solid light thanks to experimentation.

*Ploners(Aweirdgamer): an ancient Silicon based race, they are very peaceful and have close ties with the Sizzz-Shling. They are a lesser race of MOSSA.

*Flora Union(player left) a race from the earliest record of history, they died out in LATG during the Hyuld/Vermin attacks. In the HACC universe they were less advanced, but the Sizzz-Shling have taken to helping them back on their feet. After all, the Flora Union developed wormhole travel. This race of MOSSA resembles palm trees, hence their name.

*Vyzulians (DragonEye4): The Vyzulians are the inhabitants of the planet Vyzulia, and are all tribes. There species are the Xyvel, a crustacean-like species, the Molink, a predator that can change its color, and the herbivorous Wugga-tugga. The Xyvel are governed by a Clawarch, or the male with the biggest claw, and a group of the older females. The Wugga-tugga are governed by their religion.

*Ferrites(Pithadius): Beings from the Eleventh dimension that take refuge in Arthropod like Iron suits, they have a violent history, often being subjugated by older races. However the Ferrites, along with the Sizzz-Shling helped to Advance the Mikilo.

*Liquid People: The Liquid People are a mysterious lifeform that lives in entire Liquid worlds the size of planets. They are spacefaring species, and are capable of great technologies. Half of them live with MOSSA in the Cosmos. The other half lost their memories of the past universe and dwell in a lake down on the planet on the border between Animus and Silva

Gods
-Elemental Gods-

*Shadow: an elemental god, it usually take the form of moving shadows. It enjoys to toy with mortals, and is the most commonly seen elemental god. It can feel the darkness and flaws in a mortal's soul, but it is not truly evil. This god has a connection to a mortal race...

*Water: an elemental god, it's form is that of a water drop. It's secondary affiliation is that with beginnings and invention. It communicates and toys with mortals less than some of it's kin, however it has a connection to a race of mortals...

*Destroyer: the elemental god who consumed all prior multiverses, it only appear when a reality has gotten old and needs to die. It is associated with death, but also rebirth, as the reality it eats is converted into a new one.

*Death: The Elemental god associated with Death, it takes the form of two skeletons with Large skulls, often wielding bone clubs in their hands. To other races, especially those with strong family ties, it appears as lost loved ones, albeit in a skeletal form. It has a connection with a race of mortals

-No Pantheon-

*Nw: a god that evolved from a hive mind on Earth, he often takes the guise of a Chimpanzee. Nw currently is the recorder of Latu's history and the history of the prior realities.

-Simian Pantheon-

*The Three: three powerful gods each with a common genetic heritage, they are the strongest known Deities. Their common forms are many; such as cyclones of leaves and green lights. It is their pantheon that gives HACC it's name. They tend to stay out of mortal affairs, though they have ties to other gods.

MOONS-Maintainers Of Outer Natural Systems

A group of races native to a galaxy sized universe, they are the most advanced civilization known to exist. Although their reality makes time travel impossible, MOONS can easily travel through time in LATU. Some of their major members are a hive mind of Tardigrades known as the Om, and a race of ape like rodents called the Grench. To see their rise to power and their past, see the Neo-Terra topic.

*The Traveler(lukeking4564): A rogue member of MOONS who travels across Time and Space meddling with histories of races, mostly for the better. The Traveler is believed to have destroyed a cave of the Sizzz-Shling, destroying on of the only techs they invented by themselves

At the end of your post we would appreciate information on your race, but you don't need to use the Cosmos Format. When you are a creature to civilization I am pretty sure the most we need to know about your planet is it's name and the biome you are in.

Creature

Name: Imp
Diet: Omnivore
Height: Almost a meter tall in some of the bigger, never much larger.
Description: Small, mischievous, almost primal creatures, worshipping their god of fire. They do this as they believe that he has given them their 'powers', in reality the ability to eject methane from the pores in their body to start fire. This is mostly effective within the hands and out from their mouths, although theoretically fire could burst from any part of exposed flesh. The several volts of electric current circulating through their body allows them to light the methane upon expulsion as necessary.
They have the ability to eat fruit, though meat is much preferred. They can stop breathing for up to an hour at a time, they have needed to use this skill in areas within volcanoes, where poisonous gases pollute the landscape. As hunters they are ruthless and smart, using swarm tactics, combined with a hit and run. They have little use for weaponry, deferring to their naturally sharp claws, yet some enjoy the use of spears to allow them a little more range.

Their wings are predominately used fly up the hot air currents from volcanoes, although the burst of initial air isn't strictly necessary. Their weight is so miniature that they can fly for almost an hour at a time if need be, although this would leave them exhausted.
Habitat: Volcanic areas.

Recycled my sheet (With some modifications) after searching for about half an hour to find it in Life After the Grox
This is assuming I'm starting in a tribal phase, of course.
I can remake it if needed, this is just because I'm too lazy to do much more then change some stuff from the last one up. xD

You can start in late creature I think, but I dunno. Better njust play it safe and be creature. Don't worry. I've been there for more than a hundred pages, and it only took like five or ten pages to get to tribal. Don't worry, as long as you rp good, with long descriptive posts, you'll be fine. Some of life After the Grox's rpers are the cream of the crop.

I'll wait for Pith to say if I can start in early tribe, if not I'll modify the sheet a bit to remove the fire-god worship.
