i guess not because you nedd to be in the planet to use it and you can't enter in a gas giant... probably this was a bug in the game because i don't see any way to conquer it with out enter in it

Cube planets acutally aren't that bad. It's a pretty original idea. And by the way, where are the cube planets? I haven't seen anyway, and due to the lack of screenshots, has anyone even found any?

I don't mind cube planets I would like a companion cube planet. At any rate though I do prefer if they would just fix the problems with the game. I cannot edit planets never could the planets always reset the second I leave its orbit. So if they are a cube, a ring world ,a hoop world diamond world whatever I can not edit it.

But I do not care about a cube planet being in the game. I ahve never seen one in game but I have screenshots of some in spore. I have a enat looking one that is a lava cube planet. It has circles of lava on the sides of the cube planet it looks pretty neat.
