Just got the game, played 4 hours and its awesome!

Hm. Anyone else notice the increasing ammounts of Hero related threads? I say give it a few days before everyone starts bashing it like they did with Spore, C&C, and GA.

I had Spore Hero pre ordered for my birthday. I didn't want it originally but, since it is a Spore game, my grandmother did so anyway. I expected a terrible game play and mediocre graphics... why did I set my standards so low? Well, I was blown away. The graphics were much better than I could have hoped, the idea of using for movement sensitive Wii remote and nunchuck(sp?) for, what else?, to fight, dance, sing, and pose with was genius. So far, very few Wii games use the motion sensor (that I know of) for anything other than a pointer. I didn't like the annoying voices and it was relatively short, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. The last boss fight was pretty fun, too. On a scale of 1-10 I'd give it a 9.3. Buy it or rent it? If you don't like slightly complicated games then just rent this. If you DO enjoy slightly complicated games, buy it.

(Beat it in 2 days and had the best of all the abilities. Yay.)

Seriously, I want a game to last a month, not 2 days!!

There's no game that lasts a month sadly...unless its a mmo.

I think that they should make a Spore Hero Section. Right Now it looks inferior to Spore Creatures and Spore Origins.

I'll admit, Spore Hero Arena is a much better game then the last one on the DS, but it just missed a lot of stuff. I can't see how you can't modify the body or reposition limbs. On the bright side, with the Square Body, I can make a Spongebob now!

I beat the game today and am now stocking up on custom-made creatures for multiplayer.

The Spore-o-mega part is insane!!! You can pummel creatures with it when using it as a spit part. Also, I turned Zarkhator into a red Sporeling like the one at the very beginning except with the Wareye eyes and the D'orca mouth.

There are now several threads about Spore Hero, More reason to give it a section of its own.
