Same.

same because then i could go and when i get there complain about them ruining spore

They didn't

they did do you think that what they gave us is better than what was promised
cool look at all the quotes

They never promised anything and the current version of the game is fine and fun with only a few problems like unreachable Grox systems which is being fixed and few graphics/texture problems

and did you see the 2005 demo animals wandering randomly , sea stage and cells with out googly eyes

Yes I have and they never said "This WILL be in the game" it was simply testing out ideas not anything final and the fact that they have eyes is not a big deal if you think it is then just take them off and creatures still wander around and the "sea stage" was just part of creature not a seperate stage.

it was a separate stage they just removed it so they could sell it as an expansion and get all our money
do you really think ea cares about us and that the game we got is better that the 2005 demo

It was part of creature, he started in the water right out of cell then edited his creature to have legs and go onto land not go into a different stage, and EA is not the one that makes the game or any of the patches or expansions they only funded and produced it, Maxis is the one that makes all of it and yes they do or they wouldn't bother making them and fix problems and the game is still fun and maybe if you actually played it to have fun instead of just ranting all the time you would enjoy it.
but do you realy think that what we got was better than
the demo from 2005

The only things from it that I would really like are the graphics detail and cell and creature stage difference, Space is fine the way it is, Civilization is fine the way it is but could be longer, Tribe could be a bit better but it's ok, Cell is ok the way it is maybe just a few new cell designs though, Creature is the only one that I don't like as much being a bit long and repetitive. The video is cool yes, but the one we have is just as good for the most part.

but the creatures wandered around randomly i thought it would be like that not creatures siting there like they don't
exist until you come to them i wanted to be able to stalk herds of herbivores and be hunted by carnivores the creature stage was the reason i bought the game

They do still wander around in groups away from their nest as well as fight each other I see them wandering all the time, so you still can if you want to

if you mean rougues they don't cont has a random carnivore attacked your nest for no reason?

No I do not mean rouges although they do wander around and attack too, but normal regular creatures wander around and attack other creatures as well
and creatures following you doesn't count

I was not refering to them, groups of another species not in your group not rouges and not epics wander around and can attack other species on their own without interacting with you in anyway or you interacting with them.

Fine be right back with pictures

Wouldn't releasing a demo or a beta to pre-paid customers like Stardock did with their Gal Civ II Twilight of Arnor Expansion pack;

A) Increase the sample size and feedback

B) Reward cuustomers loyal enough to pre-order

and

C) Help root out more bugs before release than a team of testers would

Just an idea that could help around the 'I don't live in California' problem

You know what's funny and really sad at the same time?

I was in San Fran for New Year's holiday. I could have went there. Pity me Cactus.

Hey, nevermind the compensation. Pay for my plane ticket and I'm fine going home with nothing. Having the opportunity to contribute to this game makes it worthwhile to me. I live just a 100 miles from LA.

I'd be delighted to come and help out (have duly dispatched an email to that effect). I live in the UK, but I'm in the San Fran area next week for the Sims 3 Creator's Camp and I'm certain the Devs wont mind me taking a few hours out one day. My game modding experience has been generally more graphic design orientated, but in general I would say I'd be qualified to have a go at this! I certainly understand the basic premise at any rate

Wish I had that Holographic Scout thing in Spore. Can't Maxis set up some buildings in St. Louis?
