Grox

The best, and easiest way to do it is to uplift a bunch of species in strategic locations in Grox territory. Then, ally with these races and pay them to attack the Grox. Best thing about this is that you can still be allied with the Grox and not lose any points for paying people to attack them. One problem is that AI empires cant seem to capture systems with more than one planet colonized, so you'll have to help out in that regard. Iv'e taken out an entire Grox quadrant using this method in about 5-6 hours over the course of a couple days. I plan to use this to eliminate the rest of them. Just plan on having a ton of money and diplomatic tools and monoliths before you try this.

the first time i came into contact with the grox the guy was a complete %$%^ so i blew up his planet, like I do with any species. Then out of personal humor i started taking out each planet one at a time when i got closer to the galaxy that's when I realized how big the grox empire really was, and now i try to avoid them entirely. Im still surprised I made it to the center main reason I made was cause I used my 5 allies as decoys, shame you cant use your shield in space. My next game im going to try to ally with the grox but for now me and the grox have a no trespassing deal

ok let me settle this yes you can ally them weve established that. Yes the entire universe will hate you unless you have around 300 relationship points because allying with the grox automatically takes away 200 (its kinda funny to watch the side of your screen fill with transmissions). Just because you havent met a race doesnt mean they wont hate you if you want to make nice with everybody after the alliance be prepared to spend alot of money. I am currently working on extincting the grox im using mods call me a cheater if wou want but im pushing on 190,000 health infinite planet busters and rods along with a colony that pumps out 90 purple spice in the time it takes to leave the system and return as a source of revenue. This requires complete neglect of your home. And just for reference i have blown up over 250 grox planets plus numerous ones that i used the rod to kill them on but the problem is that while normal empires might have 2 planets in a system the grox can have up to 4 basically check back with me at christmas and ill tell you about my progress

On my main creature (which is a Shaman), i'm currently just working on fortifying a very big empire before i actually go out and extinct the Grox. They hate me just because of territory breaching (center of galaxy thing), never hurt their ships...now me and the Grox dont have a chance of ending the war, i think their relationship thing is like -400 or so (maybe more lol).

Speaking of Grox though, for those who are at war with them i got a good tip ya can use to make Grox invasions easier to handle. I buy alot of Anti-Matter Missiles and get a distance away from a fleet and shoot the ship with 2k HP and it takes the whole fleet out. I repeat this with the other fleets and invasions on other planets, its better than the old fashion way of using proton missiles.

i did steal artifact from grox system when making mission for the grox... now i have -300 relationship with them when you add all war negative points and those...

When I ran into them I was afraid what was going to happen but once I understood what they were about I wasn't worried.

When I go up against them I find a nice fast Anti Matter bomb drop on their city(s) ends the fight real fast. For colonies I just T-3 them, drop a uber turret and max the city turrets, the Grox leave soon after attacking. Fighting their ships I just make sure to have strong allies and AOE heals.

I'v allied with them then got to the center its easy (and done as a carnivore) all i did was give them all the money they wanted did quests till no more and blew up planets thats all =D

I allied the grox (every1 has a -200 realtionship with u, but i bought back my allies) and the embassy gives +10, the super happy ray gives +20 or +30, u can also create trade routes which over time give +30

When you ally them...
You can tell them to attack other nations, you can't trade them, AND everyone in the galaxy will have -200 in relationship with you. So, basically everyone else wars you with -200 relation points at first sight.

+10 for giving gifts
+20(?) for embassy
+10(?) for super happy ray

I don't remember the numbers but if u do all 5 of these things, while not making the grox mad, you will be able to ally them.

Oh, and breaking the code thing is EASY if you believe in Spode. (maybe science too)

Spode's ultimate ability that converts the whole planet resets every time you log in the game.

So... after you cast the ability, then save and exit to the main menu, then play the game again. You would be able to cast the ability again, without waiting 30(?) minutes.

You just have to cast that ability around 5 times, and you will get +50 for galactic code. Or... you can do it the hard way and buy 5 Planet busters which is worth 20,000,000 Spore Bucks.

and the zealots ability breaks the code but its 50 for embassy 100 for breakin the code and 30 for the happy ray and yes i have allied the grox i have over 200 planets

Wow...Do i want to destroy or befriend the Grox? Both give badges I've heard...
