Hello. I got a new, faster, and overall better computer than my old one. So I'm playing Spore and after I left the cell stage, the floor has weird lines that block my vision when walking around. Also, the opening cutscene with the sun and the meteor had black lines around the sun, like a sort of blur. Any help? I'm using:
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4530 Graphics with 512MB DDR3 dedicated graphics memory

I've got a surprise for you after this next post! Not a fake, tragic suprise like the last post. A REAL surprise with tragic consequences. And real smiley faces this time! The good stuff. My last emote.

Have you tried reinstalling?

Your graphics is unsupported, and may not be powerful enouh to run Spore. Try using a desktop, or get a better notebook card (there are ATI ones more than powerful powerful enough, but probably not nVidea or Intel).

Sorry, my graphics ARE powerful enough. The old computer was 2007 and this new one is 2009 and it ran Spore. Plus, when I compared the old statistics (graphics etc.) this new computer is mostly literally 2 times better in all areas.

Still a good chance re-installing will work.

Before reinstalling make sure all the drivers are up to date. If the system is new it's very likely that the stock ATI drivers for the graphics card are months or years out of date.

Remember to also re-install all patches, mods, and expansions after you re-install.
