How do I post images here?

I might sound like a n00b saying this but, how do post a jpeg (saved on my computer) in this forum. I tried copying and pasting it and I tried dragging the file in the text, but neither worked.

... The image is not on any website. I just saved it as a jpeg from photoshop.

Oh! Find a good up loader for your images (Imageshack, Deviant Art, Tinypic, etc.) - you can't upload a graphic without a graphic/photo uploading site. Try tinypic first. If you get really happy with your pictures and want to memorialize them on the internet forever, try out Photobucket, or better yet, in my opinion, DA (DeviantArt - not the best name, I know, but it's a good site in general.) - just use the (IMG) (Put URL here) (/IMG) (Use these: [ brackets when actually uploading, of course) tags, placing the URL between. Hope this helps, it works for me!

I got deviant art, but I can't figure out how to copy and paste the to a post. Whenever I try a link it shows an X it a picture icon...

Simply post a picture on a picture server site and paste the link on your post but with [img ] [/ img] (Remove spaces) make sure the picture stays in the same spot it was in or your picture/Image will become unviewable

You can use photobucket and copy the link location and post it between the imgs.
