I've been reading some very good books that I think will make a good GA, the books I had in mind were "Redwall"by Brian Jaques, "The hound of the Baskervilles" and Lost World by Arthur conan Doyle and the one i'm currently reading: "King Solomon's mines" by H. Rider Haggard.
so I was thinking of making a club for those with the same idea, so we would eventually end up with a team to turn books into GA's, maybe by request, or ones we've read.
there will also be a sc of everything that goes into these, props and all!
so who's willing to join me?

Funny, I was just discussing something like this with a friend in the last week. I think it's a great idea. I have GA, but have yet to create my first adventure. So obviously I'd get a lot out of a club like this. I'm a little overextended at the moment, but I think it's a brilliant idea. Hope others feel the same way, too! Edit: Oh, and in case I wasn't clear, I'm in, overextended or not.

Well, both Tolkien's Lord of the Rings and C.S. Lewis' The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe have a wide range of landscapes, characters, and creatures to accommodate creators with different strengths and interests. Phil Pullmans Golden Compass/His Dark Materials triology also has a wide range. Also the Eragon/Inheritance Books by Christopher Paolini. Also, I don't know how much time I have to devote to the this, so if you can get more than a couple more people interested, your book adventure would move forward more quickly.

*shivers* I prefer fantasy/supernatural. Always enjoyed the idea of mythical creatures interacting with modern society, provides a contemporary view in an unusual way.

jules verne is simply amazing, just like pretty much all the other victorian authors i've come across! 20,000 leagues under the sea would be quite a challenge, but i've already made cap'n nemo's sub so thats a bonus!
hmm, mythical creatures minglinbg with moder society eh? smurfs perhaps? XD or perhaps Narnia?
here's my nautilus:
