Space Modifications! Making your game better.

To install, simply save the .package file to the Data directory in your Spore installation directory (where Spore_Game.package and other .package files already are). To uninstall, simply delete the .package that you added to that directory.

More modifications, and better descriptions of some mods.

No replies?

Is this off limits?

I had no idea that many mods have already been released.

Scupltist's Dream is probably the only one I will use though, since it's not really much of a cheat, it just lets me sculpt faster. I really hate sitting there for a minute waiting for a certain sculpting tool to cooldown :\

Thanks for the linky ElementLeaf

Ooo, I like the sound of the sculpter's dream one. Quick question though, will it, or any of them for that matter, work on a previously saved game? I remember seeing a mod that reduced event times, but apparently it would only work with new games.

2nd question, if they do only work in new games, will it mess up my saved games or will those just be normal?

Having used 95% of these mods, they all seem to apply to new games and saved games.

Haven't had any bugs, so far.

Just a quick question. I've been planning on using some, but I don't know if your game will then be able to keep downloading creations even though you're using a modified version. Can you download creatures and the like as normal?

Yeah, downloading stuff still works. Have like 4 mods on it and my recent downloads keep going up.

Well what about Macs? will it work for Macs?

The reason you're so awesome is because you're reading a forum I post on. 'Tis true.

these mods dont make the game more fun imo, they take away the only things you have to work for in the space stage, liek money and buying things. i mean whats the point after that and taking away attacks eco disasters. theres only a few game modes in space stage and you take them out

what do you do after that lol

I don't know about you, but I just spent an hour terraforming a single planet, then dropping a bunch of creatures on it, and then supersizing them, something I never would have done before because supersizers and creature creators cost too much, along with sculpting tools taking too long to recharge. :U
