I'm actually surprised no one's posted this yet-- it's been over 24 hours since this challenge started...and it's a super-easy opportunity to test the beta!

Here's the details:
• A Darkspore Crew is like a small guild or clan. Just four members or so, it's just the right size for running Co-op missions together - the best part of the game!
• Find some other people to play with. They can be your friends, people on the forums, anyone you want, as long as it's a group of 4 or less people.
• The fun part: create a crew tag for your sig. This should be an image, and it needs to include the Darkspore Forum names of all the crew members. Also, each crew member needs to choose at least one Darkspore Hero to represent them. (though each member can include more than one if they want - a full squad would be great :mrgreen

Then just put your Darkspore Crew Tag in your sig, and when I see it, you'll win a key not only for yourself, but for everyone in your crew! Creativity is encouraged: have fun with the images, feel free to name your crew, or anything else you come up with. This is a flexible contest. I hope to see tons of these things all over forum.

Q: Where can I find people to team up with for a crew?
A: Friends would be a great place to start. They don't already have to be Darkspore fans. In fact, this would be a great way to introduce them to the game. You can also try to find people on these forums, so feel free to ask around or start a thread for it.

Q: How do I know what Hero to choose for myself?
Try to think of a Hero you'd like to use in the game. You can choose any Hero from the game, though. If you have friends in your crew that are new to Darkspore, try to help them learn about the Heroes. These two sites are both good places for info about the Heroes of Darkspore:

Q: Does my crew signature have to be an image?
A: It's encouraged, but if you want to make a text signature for your crew, we're all for it! However, I might not notice it as easily as a nicely done picture.

Q: Can someone else make my Darkspore Crew signature for me?
A: Absolutely! If one person in the crew wants to make the sig all on their own, that's great, and you can even get someone else to help you make your sig if you want, so long as you still make a group to play with.

Q: Can I have less than four members in my Darkspore Crew?
A: Yes. Crews with 2 or 3 members are totally cool, and I might even let you slide if youj have a few more than 4 - but don't count on it!

Q: Should I make a crew if I'm already in the Beta?
A: Sure! You won't get another key for yourself, but if you have friends you want to play with that don't have keys yet, start a crew with them so you can all get playing together.

I'm pretty sure it hasn't been posted because it doesn't relate to Spore. You see, the heroes you have to put in the signature are made in Darkspore, not Spore.

Actually, the mod who posted it suggested we share it around. This board seems like a logical one.
