alright the milking begins. come on guys you must use patches! add parts / the flora / planet editor in patches! (I found the hidden cell / flora editor very beta but please patch em in)

I can't wait till we get some expansion.

It's just a parts pack, and thus mostly ignorable. An actual expansion adds to gameplay, and those are the ones to buy.

So, realistically, we can expect that those who buy this parts pack will be uploading creatures with the new parts, and people who don't have the parts pack will not be able to download those creatures. Or, if the parts pack in any way changes the version number of their SporeApp.exe, we can probably expect the inability to download ANY creatures uploaded by people who have purchased the pack.

So begins the purchase pressure. Do you really not want the parts pack? Do you not want it enough to sacrifice access to the better portion of new content uploaded every day?

It's like crack dealers playing games with addicted purchasers. They know that enough people will eventually break down and buy it, just so they're not denied access to any new content.

It's almost as bad as micropayments.

They already lost a substantial amount of players actually.

Wait, how does adding more options, some of which cost money, equal lost players? It's not like someone else having an upgraded version makes my unupgraded version any worse, or that the extra parts would give them any gameplay advantage over the stock parts. Besides, we don't even know how sharing creatures with parts from a parts pack will work, so there's no need to start crucifying people over idle speculations.
