Could I have some help with making new spore parts?

I want to make a mod for new parts but I can't figure out the 3Dtool or how to make parts because it asks me to choose a program to open it with it?

Well, Do you have a 3-D animation tool?

I'm not really sure.

I've heard Blender is pretty good for that sort of stuff.

As for making parts for Spore... There's only a couple of empty slots in the Dr.Pepper pack. Other than that, you'll need to replace existing parts. You can't add more parts if there aren't any existing slots for them.

Do you have a program that can make 3D models and sequences? (We might not need the sequence part, but most 3D animation tools have that option.)

EDIT: Rebecca, did you go to ninja school? But I think we can solve the problem of a lack of slots by using a mod to add more slots.

Are they free?

Adding more slots is, by my guess, very complicated and/or hard.

As far as I know, Davo has only used existing slots, never making one. So that leads me to believe it's tedious or difficult.
