[b]EA please help me![b]
Spore was one of my favorite games of all time, and now it dosen't work.

Firstly when I double click on spore on my desktop, nothing happens. I then try to open it again and it says there is already another instance of this program running. I look down at my toolbar and click on the spore that just magicaly appeared. It takes me to a weird screen where ive got my desktop but half of it is black. Its got the spore mouse and everything but then it tells me its crashed and asks me to send a report.
HELP ME SOMEONE!

EA doesn't care about custemers. Anyways, could you post the DixDag report thing? There's a sticky on how to get it here. Also, have you tried running as administrator? Sometimes these shortcuts are glitchy.

Happens to me too. In this situation I usually restart the computer. If you still get the half black screen thingy, try opening task manager (if you're on a PC) and seeing if Spore has opened as a background process. Is so, close it and retry. Also, make sure no other applications are open (occasionally, Adobe AIR updates have force closed Spore while it was booting and crashed it on my computer.)
