Is SPORE being phased out?

With the recent server problems, hordes of unfixed bugs and the coming release of "Darkspore", One has to wonder just how much longer Maxis plans on keeping the servers running. I know it will be longer than 30 days, (It says so in the license agreement), but that doesn't really say much. Some hope would be well appreciated.

Why must SPORE be in CAPITAL LETTERS?

I think SPORE still has some time to live. Hopefully they'll fix some of SPORE's many problems after the release of DarkSPORE.

Maybe its a good thing they start fresh with Spore. Most sporumers I know can't even play the game due to glitches.

They are starting fresh with spore??? If you mean Darkspore, then no. Darkspore is a spinoff just like SPORE hero and SPORE hero arena. (Somehow, that makes me not want to buy it.)
