I attempted to log in while on Spore today and I can't login at all... this has been going on all day.


Here's the message I get when I try to login:

I think there may have been an error connecting to the Spore servers. Your computer might be in offline mode or your internet connection may be having problems. I'd suggest checking your internet connection or waiting for somebody who knows what they are talking about to come along and help.

Methinks someone tripped over a power cord and pulled it out of the wall.

I als oam having htis problem currently. It's most likely a technical difficulty over at Maxis. Just wait until morning and it will hopefully be all fixed.

I haz this too, PERFECT timing when I just reinstalled spore and in need of re-downloading creations!

Ugh..I'm having the same problem. I do hope it gets fixed soon, and by "soon" I mean between now, and the next 24 hours. 48 at most.

Probably the servers.

Now it's gotten to where I can't login at all. I swear, if I had three wishes like in the FiberPlus commercials, I'd wish for:

1) Spore to be glitch-free with fixed servers.

2) Money.

3) Then a FiberPlus bar.

Prioritizing..is a VERY good thing indeed.

Aw, phoowey. Me too. And I had perhaps the pinnacle of my acheivments in creating all ready to shock the world and stuff.

Im having log in issue as well...with the idiotic notification that my internet connection must be down. lol im online posting this so my connection is just fine...any ideas what the real prob may be

SPORE! I can't login and this has been going on for 3 days now. I gotta look at my comments, publish a load of stuff and LOOK AT LYDIADRAGONS EGG FOR ADOP SO I CAN GET ONE!!!!!

Wait. Microbe Rank and 0 starz!? Either ranks go up SLLLLOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWLLLLLYYYYYY or everyone hates me. Or, maybe that I only have 200 creations and 12 subs so I'm a new user anyways.

Now at least I know it's not my computer's fault that I can log in once every 200 tries. Tried everything, disabling firewalls & the like, restarting computer, allowing the game through Windows Firewall (... the .exe won't show up though), registering game through Download Manager (not valid code my butt, but then again, I've already registered this - it just doesn't show up in the download manger...), windowed mode, banging my head against the table, everything.

What's the funny thing is that I could log in once in every two restarts yesterday, and I thought it was just my Internet acting up - despite the fact I could surf the Internet just fine. :l Now I've managed to log in ONCE and unluckily that was when Spore was on a way too small resolution, I don't know why it did that at all.

Sigh. On to conquer the galaxy with no other inhabitants in it, then. Hopefully this gets fixed.
I only own the base game, btw. This had better fix before the expansion arrives at my door next week.
