Having reviewed the last 10 pages or so to collect these wonderful quotations, I have come to the realization that a large quantity of posts here in the last few weeks/months are nothing more than prolonged arguments between users or off-topic conversation.

Your deliverance is here. The lock goes on the thread. Of course that doesn't mean someone won't get angry in the future and make a similar thread, but I don't want to see copy-pastes of the OP here and I don't want to see people yelling at users who make angry threads. Feedback is feedback, except when it's not.
