For some reason I'm having trouble completing the terra wrangler 5 badge. I've been at terra wrangler 4 (31/40) for some time. Even though I regularly increase terra scores of planets I visit (it's become a standard diplomatic tactic for me to pay a bribe, ask about their philosophy, then up the terra score of their planet whenever I visit someone new) and I very often bring planets from T0 to T3, this badge doesn't seem to reflect those changes. So while I have been getting credit for filling out ecosystems on the zoologist badge while terraforming, my terra wrangler badge doesn't seem to be.

Anyone else having this problem?

Just curious - Have you looked at the requirements for that badge? Does it give you any hints on what you should be doing? That helps me keep a general idea of what I should be doing if i'm looking for a badge.

It just says Improve the T score on 40 planets. I've gotten up to terra wrangler 4 (which is the same only for 20 planets) and now it's just stuck at 31 out of 40, even though I've probably improved well over 200 T-scores. I haven't had problems getting any other badges so far either, it just seems odd that this one won't improve while others do.

Are you terraforming up to T3 for those few planets?, or are you terraforming from T0 to T1 on 30 different planets?

I usually go straight to T3 regardless of where the planet starts. I have all but the last two of the free terraforming tools and I keep a full T3 ecosystem in my cargo hold so all it costs me is a little bit of a time and a recharge when I'm done (terraforming takes a lot of energy). But at least according to the spore wiki page, this badge should move up every time any terra score increases, so going from, say t1 to t2 should move it once, while going from t1 to t3 should move it twice. I've T3'd every planet in my empire which is 22 systems worth, some of which have multiple colonies within the system. That alone should have been enough to get the badge, unless I'm just not understanding exactly how it works.

Have you used any cheat codes in your game? From what I've read, after using a cheat, you can no longer gain badges from the game you cheated in.

Nope! I don't even know what they are. I'm still earning credit on other badges and achievements, it's just this one that doesn't seem to be advancing.

If you cheat, it's achievements you can no longer get, not badges (atleast that's my understanding of it). You said that you are improving the terra score of other creatures planets and star systems? Maybe this is the reason why. Just a thought.

Sounds like a bug to me... I'd email the EA tech guys if I were you.

I suppose that might have something to do with it. I'll randomly T3 a few unclaimed planets and see if that works.

I have level 5 in this, I'm pretty sure it only works when you go from T0-T1, but I'm not 100% because most of the time I never go beyond T1 unless I have the supplies with me.

Did you remember to fix the new terrascore with vegetation? I think you need to do that to get the badge.

I've gained ranks in it by continuing to improve T1 and T2 planets, so that shouldn't be the problem.

I've seen that-I think it's a bug. I only get credit for planets I own....see if that works?

Yeah I think you need to build a whole ecosystem for it to count.
