I have a saved game on easy and one on hard that I am currently playing that is in space age now with a few planets. I might make save on normal difficulty, but I'm having a lot of fun on hard and it isn't that much harder than easy (for me anyway). Though, civ and tribe was pretty difficulty on hard but space isn't too bad.

Just wondering what difficulty most people here play on and why.

Ask a question and you are stupid for 30 seconds, never ask and you are stupid for life.

Normal and Hard got boring and annoying after doing them once.

Easy gave me the chance to enjoy what there was the enjoy in SPORE.

I could have done it better with the same funds and manpower. 'It' being the variable in this statement. - Me

Hard, because I'm badass...

I only played easy and hard. Easy first, because I didn't know what to expect. After that first experience, I felt I could take on an "epic" mode. I think I could have after I did hard.

I have played on at least 6 hards since but only in the last few have I gotten to the center (space.... is soooo boring that I rather cry in a public place than play it =[). Now I think I will try the advice and try easy and just play for the ... relaxation...... of the beep beeps.

Yeah its really relaxing on Easy, its become basically what the few popcaplike games I own have become. A time kill when I have 10 minutes and don't know what to do.

Hard because all of it was too easy.

After my first play-through on Normal difficulty, I spend most of my time in Hard games, to maximize the sense of challenge whilst playing. Although I have started a few Easy games, purely to pick up some of the Achievements in certain stages.

All my games are played under different settings. Really it all depends on what I feel like clicking at the time.
One of my games is an eyeless creature on Hard. (Was actually my first game on hard)
I really enjoy the limited view as an eyeless creature, really fun! (Though I have been procrastinating on progressing to Tribal because I love the Creature mode so much)

Normal is plenty relaxing for me. Had some initial trouble in Space and now I have nothing but time on my hands.

i prefer normal in cell stage
normal in creature stage
hard in tribal and civ stage
easy on space stage

i voted easy because the most part of the game takes part in space and i prefer a relaxing gameplay.

I started a playthrough on easy and got well into the space stage when I suffered a game crash that could only fixed by throwing out the saved game. Once up again I started a normal game which I am getting near the end of. Just to get where I am, I had to cheat occasionally. I seriously doubt I have the skills to play through the space stage on hard and don't think I will play a hard game that far. After my current game I will likely play all the way through on easy.

I'm on easy because I've managed to get a sizable space empire and I currently don't feel like building up another space empire. Once I get the urge to start a new empire I will try hard.

I'm an extreamist in either direction. Either I want to play a relaxing game that doesn't take a huge amount of management, or skill... Or I want to play a game that takes a lot of patience and preperation.

So I don't play normal at all. But, I have two Easy Planets for when I just want to relax and play, or get frustraited with my three hard planets, which are there to provide a challenge when I feel like braving the rough galaxy

I choose easy because its a fun game.
There is no real underlaying challenge for me on hard or normal. It doesnt provoke new solutions for me.
