Labor camps?

Increases spice production but decreases relationship with all nearby empires.

For GAlactic Adventures, it'd be nice if you could have creatures play emotes from the editor (e.g. Zombie Walk, Stalk, Flip, Spin, Flowers, Dizzy, ect.)

Galactic Ideas for Spore Future
  • I'd like to see a Plant/tree creator so we can truly customize the planet life.

  • Terraforming tool isn't bad however I fear that if we want to give our planets an Extreme Makeover we will fill up the object bar too quickly. How about a terraforming system similar to SimCity 4 but with as many options as Galactic Adventures currently has?

  • I was also thinking about a Mythical Parts Pack. The beak of a wyvern, head of medusa, Claws of Cerberus, weapons of Zeus, wings of a phoenix, screech and/or song of a siren, etc.

  • Creepy parts pack was cool but I want to go creepier.

  • A Creature effects pack, I want to create transparent ghosts, fire-breathing mummies, Water spirits, fire spirits, bloody zombies, Swarms of insects.

  • Galactic Bugs
  • The galactic adventures is an awesome expansion but I have noticed some graphic bugs, sometimes in an adventure I get tangled up with the wrong graphic and I get stuck.

  • Will we have more sound effects and ambience in a future update, I want waterfall and rushing river effects.
How about forcing certain disasters to happen as part of the story?

  • -Thank you

I would LOVE to see the game more fleshed out. It seems the original GDC '05 Spore was very well done, and I am sad It didnt turn out that way. My major grump with Maxis. The underwater stage would be nice, along with actually advancing in tribe and civ, maybe to civ sometime around agriculture, but still very primitave. More freedom in creature! I hate the nests. And when you put a spike on you back leg, it shouldnt affect your forward charge. I like spore, but wish it was the '05 demo more. Dun care how much 'worse' it may have been.

A Sphere of Reputation where relations with yet uncontacted empires would be affected by certain actions performed by the player that contribute to the empire's reputation. The sphere of reputation is the area of effect of this reputation. It can be increased by expanding your empire and make alliances or waging war with other empires, but decreased by lost of colonies and alliances.

Also it could allow the Space stage to utilize the three traits like the other stages.

For example, Diplomatic means your reputation is non-aggressive. Small empires yield towards alliances much more easily and some empires might demand tribute less often, but large zealots and warriors may see you as "more living space".

Jingoist means your reputation is of military might. Small empires will freely allow you to hijack their spices, and neighbors are less likely to demand tribute. But alliances are harder to forge and larger empires, like I said, will want to "play hero".

Expansionist is neutral and but may yield better prices for various tools due to other empires seeing your reputation as being rich. However, certain empires may demand tribute more often seeing how rich you are.

Again, I love those ideas, and may I add to that? I think there should be more then 3, but there should be more things that effect it. Like...how much money you have. Maybe a wildlife santuary wouldi ncrease relations?

My request is pretty simple, I dunno if any Maxis people read this though.

All I want is the biped walk cycle to walk PROPERLY, at the moment, the arms are in sync with the legs, really they should move in opposite directions.
I KNOW this is possible because I remember the sprint animation in the creature creater also had the arms and legs in sync, yet now it doesn't and looks AWESOME

EDIT: I think a nice feature for vehicles would be different vehicle attack effects depending on the weapon on the vehicle. And if there's too many different types, just select the one with most from each weapon category (guns, missle launchers etc) OR which I like more, alternate attacks with each gun on the vehicle.

Also maybe make the energy based armours in GA a little more viable

Adding to this, double-jointed legs should get their special gait back (the pre-release creature editor had this). Or maybe it was for creatures with four legs. I can't remember.

This is not related to the game itself, but a service.

A while ago, I created an additional screen name under my account under the belief that I could later delete it. However, it seems that when EA last redesigned the site, they took out the option to remove screen names. I would really like to remove it, so can you guys reintegrate the feature?

I would like a Grox turnoff button available once one progresses to Omnipotent level in the Space Age. It is all too easy to get on their bad side and once a war begins they will not stop attacking your colonies. The Grox are far too large for all but the most obsessively dedicated to eliminate and that seems the only way to stop their attacks. A turnoff button would allow those who wish to simply play around in the space stage to do so. It's hard to do anything else when every few minutes you must run to the rescue of one of your colonies because the Grox are attacking. It's not that I cannot defend against them, it's just I want a break from them so I can do other things. The button would be under options and once clicked, all Grox would cease to interact with you. They will not disappear but their systems would become inaccessable so cheaters would not be able to run from planet to planet destroying the mighty Grox Empire with little effort. You wouldn't even be able to fly to these systems so that the Grox barrier between you and the galactic core and the supermassive blackhole within so it could not be reached with the Grox not trying to stop you and sustaining the challenge in getting to see the blackhole and getting the 42 acheivement. At any time the button could be unpressed so one may resume their war with the interstellar juggernaut that is the Grox.

I think it would be cool if one step up above an alliance, a species could completely join with another, thier empires become one creating one large empire full of both species (think the Covenant or the Galactic Republic from Star Wars). This would not easy and would increase with difficulty proportional to the other empire's size but the rewards would be huge.

I'd like to see a lot of what other have said:

    1) more purpose to cell stage. have there be the change from single cell to colonial cell before creature.
    2) more changes through each stage in creature.
    3) add creature controls. offer a F1 to F12 icon system on top of the screen with the option of having ten creatures per group, along with ways to group creatures and give them commands. In creature, if you get a group, they follow you and mimic you: you attack, they attack, you socialize, they socialize, you're basically the little leader. Why can't you have slight control over their options. Say, if I want the Alphas attacked, but am tied up in a fight, I want my guys to go after the Alpha- I can handle myself. I can order them to do that.
    4) In tribal stage. I'll finish this later. bye!
    Edit: Now I'm back.

Okay, 4 again. In tribal stage you play as a creature in the tribe, leading your tribe and telling creatures what to do, but you're not in overview all the time. the ai can be really dumb sometimes and I'd like to lead my guys into the fight. The overview option is still open to those that like playing it that way and you have a way to transfer between each view at will.
    5) In tribal stage can name little babies if you want to. You can also teach them stuff.
    6) Back to creature quick- you can have several options to choose from in the command menu. Defend, attack, flee, hunt, follow me
    7) Same choices in tribal stage, but this time you can tell them to heal someone by just pushing buttons instead of clicking. You can have different factions in your tribe, warriors, gatherers, and socializers.
You have more tribes to interact with instead of just the five or so that you get to now.
    9) If you conqueor another tribe you can send a small group over there to inhabit that place and rebuild so you have more tribes and thus more people following your beliefs and choices.
    10) the civ stage allows you to lead your people in fights, commandeering vehicles to shoot at enemy cities. Allows first-person view like in creature stage if you choose to do so.
    11) space stage allows you to blow up stars and in doing so blow up the entire star system. You're also allowed to create your own technology like, say, stargates or starportals or something so it's easier to travel between systems. If you start at any stage, it'll ask you if you want to pollinate the galaxy or if you want to be thrown into a preexisting one where life already exists. It kind of annoys me when the spore.com page asks How will you create the Universe when you really don't- you just live in it. You should get the choice of starting out in an empty galaxy or starting in one where life has already happened.
    12) in space stage you can go to other galaxies- more galaxies. Not meaning other players' games, I mean other galaxies within our own realities.
    13) The complexity limits should be made larger for everything- adventures included. I'd like to have a huge full-scale war in some of my missions.
    14) Adventure Creator should allow us to pretty much make our own behaviors as well.
    15) If you download a mission, you automatically get the creations from it without having to play it in space stage or in quick play to download the adventure creations separately.
    16) Have a plant editor so we can make our own plants.
    17) In cell stage, can choose whether or not stay in water for creature stage or go onto land. If you choose water, then another stage is added where you're underwater for the creature stage. You get to befriend water creatures and die if you go onto land, whereas you die when you go too far into the water right now. Then the underwater tribal stage happens where your homes are reefs and the reef grows when you beat other water tribes. You also get an underwater plant editor. When you go to the civ stage, the reefs become city-like. You conqueor other cties and move into a amphibian stage where you go onto land for a little and build space craft. Then you go into the space stage.
1throughout all stages have option of F1 to F12 lists where there can be ten same creatures in one grouping, allowing you to better control your comrades.
    19) have a technology editor where you can make star drives, cloak devices, and shield generators and stuff like that. You can specify something from a pre-set up list or make your own effects.
    20) Really, really HIGH complexity allowances. Can have lots of stuff more than what is already available.

That's it for now. I'll add more later.

I would like to discuss some things I want added:
    1 ) Glass paint
    2 ) City Stage
3 ) Ability to use the items you pick up during adventures in GA (i.e. swords, spears, controllers)
    4 ) A user-friendly florah editor
5 ) Use of hidden cell parts during real game
6 ) Ability to share cells
7 ) Cell editor without having to start cell stage
8 ) Underwater Stage (if you can get the animation/navigation working)
    9 ) (For Underwater Stage) Coral/Seaweed editor
    10 ) User-friendly in-game sporecast system
11 ) Ability to ride/controll vehicles in GA
12 ) Ability to adjust aircraft/spaceship height in GA
13 ) (For City Stage) City outfitter
14 ) Tribal people in creature stage
15 ) Civilized vehicles attacking tribes in tribal stage
16 ) Asymmetry as a patch instead of an expansion (if you can fix the programming bug)
17 ) (GA) The artafical intelligence to have z-axis (aka 3-D up and down) awareness (cause' it sucks when you're on top of a building and the NPC with a jump jet is attacking the building).
I still think Spore (and CC and GA) is(/are) pretty awesome!
