You can get 20 tacos from the dollar menu of Taco Bell!

Or 4 beers at your favorite bar.

Of you can buy one of those paddles with a ball attached to a rope, which might provide more lasting entertainment than Spore.

Gah, you beat me to it!

And so did Parvati, possibly...?

I certainly can't think of any other illegal activity worth spending $20 on...except maybe burning $20 in the street and pirating the parts pack (j/k, I'm not a pirate. Except on Halloween.)

What the...you can't use that kind of language here, this isn't Science Spore!

Indeed, I was. Much better value for $20...and at least I can share that with my friends

I'm often glad that gaming is my only addiction. Because it leaves me with more money for games.

I already put my 20 dollars in the World of Warcraft Xpac.

40 dollars for one Xpac with gigs of added content or spend 20 dollars on a creature parts pack that adds nothing to game play at all... Hmm, not really a hard decision.

I know you'll mention the monthly fee but for that fee I get a real MMO full of real people to do things with in an ever changing game world that gives me the freedom to play solo or to do things with a group and is updated throughout the year at no additional costs.

Spore is fun, but it's not so fun that many of us are going to pour 20 dollars into every couple of months for parts and pieces that should have came with the game from the very start.

IMHO

Where are you getting them from? White Castle?

Here's an idea. Put the $20 on the end of a piece of string and hold onto the other end. Place the $20 on the street and hide and wait for someone to see it. When they go to pick it up, yank the string.

We could all dump out 20$ into an account and commission Maxis to remake Spore in the original sense?

Well like, Penny Liquor is like once a month at that bar...busiest night seeing as you come with a dollar, you have 100 beers right there.
And Ramen + Powder Pack + Slice of Kraft Single Cheese + Texas Pete Hotsauce = Epic Win
