I'm impressed that you've had the patience to do this, and it's especially interesting that you did it with Spore, a game that is known for making it easier to create art more quickly.

Thanks.

But if I ever do it again, the actual adventure containing this image needs to be completed first. It is still in early stages of production, and has not gotten much farther since all the bugs are putting me off. But if I actually do work on an adventure more continuously, it seems to take me at least three weeks, maybe a month to complete one. So this may take a while.

Well... I suppose I could also learn a thing or two on patience from you.

So I'll just wait here politely for your next masterpiece. *Twiddling thumbs*. Ho-hum.

I might do an old Ted Williams photo. I did 2 blocks today, using the Nethellus template. wish me luck!

Good luck. I'm curious to see how that turns out, if you have the patience to finish it. The most technically difficult thing is aligning all the pixel props together really. You should start from the middle so that the curve of the planet does not mess with things too much.

EDIT: I might have said that before in this thread, I don't remember.

I'm assuming you used gates as well as buildings? How else would you get 100 separate props together, unless the black parts subtracted a lot?

You're right- nethellus, you're a GENIUS

I believe that God created the heavens and the earth, sent His only Son to die for the world, and will come again to take his followers to the new heaven and earth. If you believe this too then copy and paste this to your sig.God Bless.

Congratulations Nethellus, you are officially playing this game waaaaaaay too much.
When you explained how you did this, I thought you were kidding at first. I would NEVER be able to do something as time-consuming as that! To actually make different squares and then put them together, one at a time, to create an image made out of hundreds of those squares and have it look just like a real person is REALLY amazing! I'm guessing you had to make them really small, otherwise the picture would be rounded from the curve of the planet?

Definitely gonna try this anyway umm im VERY patient i made a whole complex image pixel by pixel

Finished! Click on it to check it out! -it did prove challenging when i tried to fit the blocks together. What did you ues to look at the actual pic? I just zoomed in all the way on paint, then turned on the grid. It worked pretty well. When I searched pixelpicture in the sporepedia, i also found these amazing pics made by "pixelpictures" (another username for Rantalia). Have you seen them?

Thats nice, but you didn't compensate for the curve of the planet. And you seem to have run out of patience with the last three blocks, which is understandable.
Also, one of the blocks was selected when you took the picture. You can see the little blue thing hovering over it. And you could have zoomed in more, so that nothing of the planet was visible.

I have seen Rantalia's pictures, and I am amazed that he/she had the patience to do three of them.

And I used Photoshop myself.
